Negative experience: Poorest store I've ever been too, they sell you faulty equipment and tell you to return it within a week and when you do they don't honor it and make you purchase another one just to get home and it doesn't work either, and when you call they just give you an attitude and make it like it's your fault then I called the corrupt number and they don't do anything but file a "ticket" which is fancy talk for "sorry try again"
Negative experience: Rude staff unfortunately, I wasn't greeted entering the store and stood for roughly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. They did acknowledged me however to let me know they were closing in 2 minutes. I miss the customer service I used to receive here
Negative experience: Rude staff that try to scam you brought a cord after spending 200 plus dollars they said they can’t take it back that’s something that should be said when purchasing anything if it was Walmart, I would’ve got my money back. I will not be spending no more money with this company.if it’s not the lady with I think purple hair forget about it I’ll be calling my bank this morning
Negative experience: Brought an Apple Watch here to trade in after already selling them 4 I bought for cheaper at Walmart on Black Friday they offer 225 for it the GameStop employee said he didn’t know if my watch was real or fake but u can verify it on Apple website and I went to colerain location it shows up real and they even say it’s real they just have to call there boss bc someone is selling them fake watches ?? And the regional manager denied my sale they had to call just bc apparently someone went around tri state selling fake watches to them high doubt that they verify serial numbers and even look in the settings to check if it’s fake plus I bought boxes sealed in Walmart the manager unlocks them to sell them to u lol had no problem selling them 4 watches until 5th they wanna say my stuffs fake but bought from a real store sealed up when I got receipts sketchy place sketchy as hell

Positive experience: The staff for the most part are pretty cool. The score isn't really from that it's more from what gamestop has become. Most stores or messy toy stores with varied selection of gaming accessories and this one slightly falls into that as well. They're trying though.

Positive experience: My son & I were sent here from the Glencrossing Way location recently. My son wanted to sell some of his video games & also buy another one (Madden 24). I know inventory listed online isn't always accurate, but he wanted a new copy & 1 was listed as available & actually listed as being less expensive than a used copy. The Glencrossing Way location also confirmed it was available at this location before we left. We arrived around 5 minutes later & although my son was able to sell all of his games, we were told that the new, less expensive game wasn't available. I suppose that's possible but it continued to show up online as being available at this location for some time. He did end up getting a used, more expensive copy. Other than that, we had a decent experience.
Negative experience: I called this morning around 11:45 and placed a hold on a video game. I told them I would be getting off work at 8 pm and would make it there by 8:30-8:45. The employee on the phone told me that’s fine and they would have it for me when I got there. Arrived at 8:30 and they had the gates shut, an employee came up to the door and very rudely told me they changed the hours recently and I should have known that, however the hours online say they close at 9pm. If I should be aware of the closing time changes, it would helpful to have that information available to me, but it is not. Really disappointed because this store has been great to me in most previous experiences, but this really made me uninterested in ever going back. I don’t understand why the hours would be changed yet the employees would be unaware of their own hours and guarantee I could come in at a time they’re supposed to be closed.
Negative experience: Absolutely horrible service. Rachel was not helpful at all when asking questions. She would give me a couple word answers and walk away or just ignore me. I was about to check out and my wife was going to buy a hoodie but couldn’t find the price I apologized and said give me just a second I don’t know if she wants that or not I’m sorry. She replied with “she’s to busy and has a million things she needs to do and probably won’t get done and then said I guess” I’m sorry but if you work in retail you HAVE to help customers, I was not rude or anything. If I didn’t need the controller that day, I would have definitely bought at another store.
Fantastic experience: This is my favorite GameStop. I will go out of my way to go here over any other GameStop. Rachel especially is awesome!
Negative experience: This GameStop is absolutely useless lazy workers, went to trade in a switch pro controller and got told they didn’t feel like testing it cause they have a headache this is an absolute disgrace seeing it’s the second GameStop I went too to trade in this pro controller for the switch I will be contacting corporate and taking it as far as I need to.

Negative experience: Just went to this GameStop on Black Friday I bought brand new head phones for ps5 and brand new hard drive for ps5 and two 25 dollar Roblox cards for my daughters, got home cards didn't work the next day took them back to the store they told me to contact Roblox support something i did and Roblox said my cards were never activated and to take them back to the store to get them activated so i did and i received no help at all so i got my money took and nothing for it at all, they are the new modern day robbery so disappointing I will never spend my money with them again ever
Negative experience: Says online they open at 10 but the store sign says 11. I bought a refurbished controller last night to get it home and it is not refurbished infact every button sticks. The employees are great though
Negative experience: I preordered a game at this location, the day comes to pick it up and they aren’t even open. Originally online it says they opened at 10am. I rearranged my work schedule to make sure I could get my game that morning before work. Turns out they updated their hours 4 days ago to 11am. Alright, so I go to a couple places to kill the hour. I then wait til 11:20 and still no one opened the store or even answered the phone. This location will not be receiving my business in the future and I will be going in (whenever they decide to open) and get my money back for my preorder. Probably won’t even buy it from GameStop at this rate.
Negative experience: I give it a 1 star rating because all I wanted to do is ask how much is a new ps5 spider man controller cost never got back with me on the call wait 35 minutes. Hung up an called again said ill be right with you can I put you on hold I said yes another 35 minutes go by an no answer. Such a disappointment about just asking about a price. Called a different game stop they answered right away an gave me an answer not hard. People act like there job is so hard when all you have to do it look it up.smh

Negative experience: This gamestop has changed and now keeps "round about whenever we decide to open hours." Ignore the posted hours. It'll be open an hour or two after it is supposed to. Last 3 stops at this store had it closed during normal posted operating hours.
Negative experience: Supposed to be open.....one store had technical issues, came to another.....if you issues put sign on door!!!!! Noone will answer phone.....and it's way to cold out to stand and wait ...

We shop there alot but everytime where there she is very rude to me, she about has a panic attack over the smallest things
Negative experience: I had a question about codes. Which led to me giving an example. I said that I bought a new game and the codes expired. They said that that's not possible and insisted I'm a liar. I tried to explain that I bought a new game a couple years from when it came out. But apparently I'm lying. You know some codes don't last six years some expire a year or two. Worst people ever. I don't think I'll be going to GameStop anymore.

Fantastic experience: An amazing GameStop! I've been going here since I was young kid and staff are always super friendly and nice. I had came in and an employee named Nico was super helpful with my trade in on an old console.

A true example of what a gamestop experience should be like without feeling forced or overly corporatized. Gamestop inc. Do give everyone at this location a raise. Raising their morale even further could do wonders for sales and complete overall customer satisfaction.
Negative experience: Do not buy extended warranties . You are giving them extra money for free . Do not fall for it. Avoid the store manager Devin at all costs. The girl always very unpleasant.

Fantastic experience: The team here is incredible. Knowledgeable across every platform and exceedingly helpful and friendly. I’ve made multiple visits over the last couple of weeks and they go above and beyond to make sure I leave happy. I’ve taken my son (4) in with me the last two times to get switch games and they listen to and answer all of his questions as well with patience and genuine care, interest and excitement. I usually have good experiences at other locations that might be more convenient locations for me but the team here makes the extra bit of a drive totally worth it!

Negative experience: would of gave them no stars! I pre-ordered a game last year (God of War). I paid the full price for the game which was 49.99, which was a deal because I paid for the game early before it released. Long story short I go to get the game on the day it released and they told me I only put 5 dollars down on the game which is not true I had someone with me as a witness! I spent almost 800 dollars the day I pre-ordered the game I had a few thousand in cash in my pocket that day so why would I only put 5 dollars down doesn't make any sense. I didn't get the game or a refund so I'm done with them they lost a valuable customer!
