Fantastic experience: I love this store and come multiple times per week. I have enough games at this point that I can basically live off of trading games in and getting store credit. I have had a lot of fun buying old consoles at very reasonable prices, playing them for a year or so and then trading the console and games in for a different one. This is what gamestop wishes it was. If you buy one of their shirts you can get a discount on most games as well which is really nice. If you come here often the shirt will pay for itself fairly quickly.

Fantastic experience: Cody and the crew at Pink Gorilla are passionate, knowledgeable and pretty fun to chat with. There's a huge selection of retro games, cards, accessories and other cool pieces of merch. It's a great place for fans of classics and just about anyone who is a millennial that played games in the 90s.

Negative experience: I was quite happy to go there since I’ve sean everything through YT. I was in Seattle in August (from Madrid, Spain) and any of the 3 SFC games I bought work. Wrote them by X and no answer. Very disapointed.

Negative experience: The guy working there told me a different location had a copy of a game I wanted to purchase and informed me he would call ahead to have it set aside. He did not do this and the game was sold before I could get there. Unreliable plus a generally poor selection of games.

Fantastic experience: Elise is the best human being ever to have existed on planet Earth. She moved heaven and Earth to fix my Commodore 64 so I could play Oregon Trail like God intended. While I still died from dysentery, Elise made sure I could make it all the way to the Willamette Valley. Thanks, Elise!

Fantastic experience: Great customer service, and their trade in values were very fair! Much better than any other store I have traded with. They could do in store credit, cash, venmo and PayPal. (Maybe other options as well) I brought in roughly 50 games, and they rep communicated clearly to me that it'll be about an hour to scan them all, so we went and got lunch nearby. Very easy process and rep was kind the whole time. Store was very clean and well put together.

Fantastic experience: I really need to get out more. It's just down the street, and I've never been. Cool little spot with a ton of games. You can offload old systems, accessories, and games here as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and I'll definitely be popping in here when I'm looking for a new game.

Fantastic experience: Picked up the new Mario game, Cody (I believe) was very quick and precise, keeping up with the business of a release day, this clean store is unbeatable in Seattle, and all locations are a must visit.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the place to go to for any gaming system help. My N64 was struggling and I couldn’t figure out why, so I brought it here. Elise fixed it right in front of me in 15 minutes and saved an important piece of my childhood!

Fantastic experience: I'm from San Diego, and the retro gaming store scene is pretty weak over there, so I was super excited to check out Pink Gorilla Games when I heard about it! I was really impressed: great selection (especially consoles), and extremely reasonable prices that aren't hiked up like a lot of the retro gaming scene. Super cool spot!

The security cases will make you cry, because those are the top games you're looking for and they're likely to be 150 dollars. However, I'm sure you'll find something you'll love here no matter what console you use.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Pink Gorilla several times over several different locations within Seattle - never have I had a bad experience. They know what they're talking about, they've fixed my gear, and have purchased old stuff from me. Can't appreciate them enough.

Fantastic experience: They have a lot of different games and gaming systems, along with whatever accessories you need, and all for a really good price. They have a 7 day refund policy if you are not satisfied with what you bought, as long as it's still in good shape. Definitely will get more of my business. The guy at the front counter was very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Dream fulfilled. Had wanted to go here since I saw one of Adam Koralik’s videos on it as a teenager. Prices were very reasonable and selection was great- was able to grab Enchanted Arms and a few other games I’d been looking for and never been able to find in person. Worth it.

I purchased a blind box and they have a wonderful policy that allowed you to keep what you opened or trade for what is already open. There is a great selection of retro games, plushies, and other collectibles.

They do have some modern system selections also usually might be locked up. Glad this place opened on the hill to feed my retro addiction.

Fantastic experience: Awesome little video game store! I found a GameCube game and a Wii game, both of which had been on my wishlist for a long time. One of the discs appeared to have some scratches, but they were happy to polish and test the disc before I purchased. They have a good assortment of games, including imported versions. They also had some some cool accessories and plushies if you are into that kind of thing.

Negative experience: The staff was not attentive nor friendly. I asked if they had more Zelda amiibos, the guy at the counter told me they didn’t and pointed out that the amiibo on his desk just got in and he didn’t even know the price yet. Then he just went back to wherever he was doing on his computer and completely ignored me.

Fantastic experience: Amazing video game store in Seattle! With so many retro video games, consoles, and collectables. Great service! They always help me with all the information I have about games or consoles. This store is in the hearth of Capitol Hill, very close to Seattle Central College! It's a must-see if you are walking around this neighborhood

Fantastic experience: I was on a trip to Seattle and really wanted to visit. The store is small but had a great selection of games. The staff was super friendly and helpful and I bought an Xbox One S. After chatting with me for a little bit, the guy recommended a couple of games, one of which I'd never heard of but I got it anyway and it did not disappoint.
