Fantastic experience: All I can say is WOW. I traveled out of town and stopped here (I try to stop at thek whenever I am out of town since we dont have them where I live) and it was phenomenal. The selection was good but the staff were even better. I believe her name was Mindy but she helped me find what I was looking for and even showed me some other items I might be interested in based on that. She knew the store well and I ended up spending way more than I had planned but it was so worth it! There were some incredible things id never seen anywhere else! Im a nervous critter so having someone as calm, patient, and knowledgeable as Mindy was a LIFE SAVER!!! I cannot wait to go back. Planning a trip here soon just so I can go by the store and see what other cool stuff there is! Everyone was so nice and polite. The team at this store should be a shining example for all the others out there. Best game exchange I have ever been to, seriously. Mindy blew me away with her kindness, professionalism, and genuine eagerness to help. She was knowledgeable about everything in the store. Every single item. It was crazy! You can tell she's definitely a nerd and she's working right where she should! Can't wait to go back!!!

Positive experience: Staff is always friendly. There’s been two occurrences where I was given the wrong game and had to go back, should have thought to check before leaving I suppose. They keep the store clean and organized, prices can be a little steep but it is a used game store so that’s to be expected. Good selection of different games and game hardware.

Fantastic experience: The workers here are so helpful and honest. The vibes are great and they won't screw you over. They truly want the best for their customers. The employees go above and beyond to make sure you find what you are looking for. Highly recommend. We were sent here by gamestop because we were looking for an Xbox 360 power cord and the employee with the red glasses was so kind and helped explain the pricing of a new one, checked for any used ones, and even called another store to check availability for us. We ended up getting the new in box option from this store but we were very thankful that the employees double checked to try and find us the absolute best deal.

Positive experience: Ever seen one of those you tube clips.. where the girl goes into a gaming store and the men act like she's a moron? Exactly what happened to me. I went to buy a figure, got over charged by two dollars. Asked about a switch and they tried to sell me the fanciest one they had. Got looked up and down, like i was lunch, and got lectured about a fandom which i have a visible tattoo of, Cus apparently "Dur Hur.. Dumb Girl." Yah.. going to the one on pimlico from now on.

I love coming here to buy my comics and Funko pops, it’s always my go-to place. I used to come here years ago, but it’s greatly improved since and I’ve been back twice in just a couple days. I’ll soon be returning to pickup my holds too haha. Strongly recommend!

Negative experience: Was just in: Greeted by the stock "how's it going bud?" And when I answered honestly (today's been a tough one) the I guess unexpected honesty rankled vaping-incessantly-while-hawkishly-watching-my-every-step manager guy bc he was struck silent until the passive aggressive "haaaave a good night, *bud*". This would have been fine on its own, but Sandor, the cashier who checked me out, full on balked and nearly stopped my transaction when I mentioned him my name. *Offendedly* *Long Stare* "You know me..?!" Guess how I knew? Guess what he had draped around his neck for the explicit purpose of, get this, *telling people what his name was!* I was as shocked at his beffudlement as he was at my apparent ESP/prescient peer into this supposedly unknowable personal detail! What a deeply unwelcoming, MASSIVELY unpleasant experience. Ew Never again I'm not sure a person facing occupational perch is the ideal landing for the Sand-man (dont ask me how I know that's his nickname )

Fantastic experience: Mindy helped me this morning and was so helpful and sweet. She helped me make an account and gave me info of the different benefits. Love the PS2 selection here and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Didn't have many games I was interested in but had some affordable 4K Blu-rays I ended up buying

Fantastic experience: The staff are incredibly nice and the whole store is amazing. Filled with items collectors and new and old gamers will enjoy. They have an amazing selection of retro consoles and games that are also priced quite fairly. I was able to purchase my 3ds because one of the workers offered to hold the item for 2 days at no charge! I came in the next day and only paid $265 for a galaxy edition new Nintendo 3ds xl which also came with its stylus and charger, and was in amazing condition and only had 1 minor scratch on the top but literally nothing else.

Fantastic experience: I come here every now and again to get Pokemon cards, I love their singles that you can buy. I also love the two who seem to be the only ones who work there (I’m kidding… I think), because they’re always there whenever I go. They’re really nice and knowledgeable about Pokemon cards. I went once to get a card I pulled appraised and the employees were very nice and they told me how I could do it myself, which I appreciated. I really like this place.

Negative experience: Love this place, but have not been back much for the last year. Got a ps5 this time last year on lay away for around 490$ and when I got it home found out the hdmi port wasn’t fully working right unless positioned certain ways. I live over an hour away from any game xchange and decided that I was okay with it as it was. Fast forward a few months later, up until now, and the thing is hardly playable. The port is absolutely dog water on this console and I’ve done nothing with it or to it, it sits where it has since it’s came here. Just think it’s poor service to allow someone to pay up that much on a product that clearly wasn’t even been checked or looked over properly.

Fantastic experience: This is my favorite game/ card shop in Lexington. The variety is fantastic and they always have something new. They buy almost everything at a fair price too! It's the best place to buy bulk cards in terms of selection and price, I could spend all day going through the bulk lot here! The staff is always energetic, helpful, and entertaining. The manager (I believe his name is Daniel?) is wonderful. Good luck finding a better used gaming store!

Positive experience: Normally I always LOVE this place, love the workers and they recognize me when I come in. But now they’ve removed bulk Pokémon cards which was the reason I’d shop here at all and this is all that is left. Awful.

Fantastic experience: Came in today looking for a new to me system. The workers were personable and knowledgeable. They encouraged me to inspect the systems and let me unwrap them to check them out. I left with an animal crossing switch and some games. Will Definitely be back!

I took a console and a handful of games in to sell and the experience was a breeze. The store was super nice and clean. The staff was friendly for the most part, Daniel was the best. Negative experience: Went in barely a hello. Then when I went to ask a simple question the gentleman working sounded like I was annoying him. Definitely not the same place I went to awhile back probably won't be back again

Negative experience: Was in there, and the other location, about 2 weeks ago, looking for a few specific movies. None of the DVD's or Blu-ray's were in any type of order. I understand/know how hard it can be to keep things in alphabetical order, but they could at least keep A's with A's, B's with B's, etc.

Fantastic experience: 100% prefer this store over local competitors for gaming needs. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely happy to help. The store is clean, well lit, and organized. This is THE place to go for your gaming needs and Funko exclusives.

Negative experience: Y’all may need to hire some new folks. I walk in and the first thing I hear is employees cussing and talking about their music tastes, don’t even acknowledge me walk in, and the music playing in the store had some lyrics that are EXTREMELY vulgar. Had to walk out

Negative experience: Went in to sell Xenoblade Chronicles 2 collector edition. Was offer 12 bucks. That was very insane. I know they would definitely sell it for what it's going on eBay and profit 1000%

Negative experience: Wish I could put a Zero. Take merchandise from minors without checking to see if it's their merchandise. Then when the parents or guardians come in charge 4 times what the child received for it. FOUR TIMES THE AMOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Nothing there for me, but definitely something there for someone into stuff like pop figures or comic books. They had a few action figures and older game guides, as well as some old niche records and some 8-tracks funny enough.

Fantastic experience: Im in here at least once a week. There is an employee there I think his name is Hop he's awesome! Everytime I'm there he converses with me about games. He always let's me know what new stuff they have in and even let's me know when some games are all they're cracked up to be and offers suggestions on other titles I may be interested in. As long as he works there I know I'm not gonna get ripped off and buy something I truly don't want. He even engages my kids. Thanks Hop keep up the good work!

Negative experience: I just went to this location. The game selection was pretty good, and the prices were decent. I would like to say that i will be back. However, I was not impressed with the salespeople there. I walked in with my husband and heard the guys working there talking very loudly amongst themselves and were cursing as well. It's just not a good look for a business, and it is inconsiderate of customers who may be offended. One guy in particular was super obnoxious, unprofessional, and rude. He was trying to dissuade me from buying certain games I knew I wanted to try and said some other offensive stuff. He complained about some games being "too liberal". In other words, the game was too inclusive of characters and players that weren't just straight, white dudes, which I'm not. I didn't appreciate it. I don't see anything wrong with making sure everyone is treated with respect. As long as this thoughtless jerk is still working there, I won't be back.

Fantastic experience: The people in this store are amazing, I specifically come to this store because of the employees. Hannah and Jordan are two of my favorite people. I'm saddened that I can't add a second rating for the ownership group that runs this company. Today there is severe weather and almost all other businesses in their area are closing down early for the safety of their employees. However not Game Exchange, because to them the employees lives are less important than them making money for the company for a few hours. Hopefully one day the employees here can be treated with the respect and decency they deserve.

Fantastic experience: I love this place. It's a used video game store. They have everything from PS1 through PS4 games. Xbox through the most recent Xbox games. They have some movies. They also have some switch games. You can sell here too. I highly recommend doing here.

Fantastic experience: Came in here one night a little less than an hour before close and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Answered every question we had and helped us find a couple different games that we were looking for. Prices overall are fair for most things but I will say the service was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Jumping on the bandwagon of PRAISE for these folks. We bought a switch and it had super minor blemishes, they replaced our stuff - better edition, perfect condition. Hooked us up with a sweet case for $7. Just awesome. Gonna buy lots more from these folks.

Better and more consistently staffed, with enough people to take care of customers without having to scramble and do three jobs at the same time. I’ve sold things here before and the amount offered was pretty fair. On my last visit I talked to a very helpful worker named Tory who went out of her way to show me some items buried in the back of a case. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and had a great attitude. I hope the company is able to identify strong workers and make sure to hang on to them. I’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Excellent used media and game store. Supper friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are as good or better than online. On many games you will come out better here than paying for shipping. They also do trade-ins. On the tcg side (mtg, Yu-Gi-Ohs and pokemans) they have 10 cent loose commons and 25 cent rares along with more price individual cards too. They also have records and turntables. Limited selection of comics and Manga. Big DVD collection

Negative experience: So the store itself is great! Lots of products nice music playing and anything a gamer could want. However the employees are really loud and have way too many side conversations. They want to hang out and talk to each other instead of helping customers. Took 10 minutes to check out. Do better I want that place to last. They need to stop and focus on their customers.
