Fantastic experience: I went on Saturday to trade in 2 Xbox’s and to buy a new Xbox one S! Amazing service!!! It was super busy but they still were able to juggle it all. Josh was the one who helped me and he was very nice and had amazing customer service! Gave me a great deal on my 2 original 2014 Xbox ones that I brought in. I was expecting to get maximum $30 for the two of them but I ended up getting way more for them! I will definitely be visiting again!

Negative experience: Go to gamexpress they low ball here! Your met with attitude and objections here. What is completely ironic is I bought a switch 6 months ago and went to trade it in they claimed it was damaged. You’re a failing brand and I will never come back!

Negative experience: A very weird experience to say the least. I took my Xbox to return in. Xbox was in great condition, but for some reason one of the employees (taller black guy with glasses) who was rude from the beginning of me entering the store btw. He refused to take my Xbox series X and his reasoning was he said it was bug infested? I was honestly confused so I took it to another game stop right after and at this new store they took the Xbox and were very polite in doing so. I told them about my other experience just before and they were just as confused as me and guessed that this employee didn’t want to deal with the process of returning the Xbox. Not sure what that employees deal was but beware of him at this location if returning anything.

Fantastic experience: The manager here, James, is always super helpful and makes sure the store is ran correctly. Out of all the lexington stores this one is my favorite as they seems to have the most items I'm looking for and the staff is all super friendly.

Negative experience: Purchased a used controller. With the price being $77 and paying a warranty fee I figured after they took my name and number down that they’d keep that information so I blindly threw the receipt away before trying out the controller(trusting game stop). After several tries the controller would NOT connect to the ps4, and after several attempts with a separate cord we realized the issue was simply the controller. Upon trying to resolve this by trading in the controller game stop refused to trade in. You have to wonder if they are so strict on return items why don’t they test their own items before shelving them !? Next time you shop here make sure to check your device before throwing away receipts because the word of there employees means nothing.

Negative experience: Do not shop here! The employees will insert their personal opinions without you asking for recommendations. They will tell you what you are looking for is all wrong. Honestly this store should have closed a while ago. I am in shock that it is able to stay open with the piss poor customer service they offer. If I could give a negative number of stars I would.

Negative experience: I’m making sure I leave a review on every social media platform available. You guys need a different return policy, but it doesn’t matter because I’m not buying anymore physical products from GameStop after this. Instead of being able to do an exchange on my keyboard, at the least, I had to just throw my keyboard in the trash which ended up being a good size amount loss of funds/time. So, thanks.

Positive experience: I understand gamestops are typically small, but this one is TINY. A very low selection, staff appears to do the bare minimum of cleaning, staff (working at the time, unsure of other staff) greeted us in a very "I don't want to be here" way, and then proceeded to ignore us. I mean we know the feeling of working retail, but I would've preferred NO greeting to what was offered. The store was so small and absolutely packed (staff allowed a family of 6 to come in after us, despite the sign only allowing 4 in store at a time). Even beyond covid standards, due to the small space we felt crammed in like sardines. Stayed for a total of 5 minutes tops, then decided to leave without buying anything due to the atmosphere. Not a terrible store in general with what its been given, but there are much better ones close by.

Negative experience: Not only do they not answer the phone any time I call, they specifically decline the call. I know this because it’ll ring twice on one call before being disconnected and then not at all another time but will still give me the recorded greeting

Negative experience: This location is, probably, the saddest I've ever been to, in terms of game merch, amiibos, and even game selection. It has a moderate amount of games, across various platforms, but almost no other merchandise, board game, shirts, or accessories, which you typically see at GameStop. I'd try a different location before coming here.

Positive experience: It's still a GameStop and while that in and of itself is a bit of a knock against it I swear this store has the friendliest staff of any GameStop in the Bluegrass (trust me, I've been to most of them!) If you need the kind of products they still carry in the area and don't mind going to GameStop this is the one to go to.

Fantastic experience: The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, which is great for those of us who are not video game expects. They really saved me when I was trying to buy games at Christmas. They have games for a number of different systems and have product warranties on them. Not only to they have games and consoles, they have clothes, socks, Pops, action figures, and assorted other miscellaneous video game, anime, or Sci-fi related items.

Fantastic experience: I can say with confidence that this is the best GameStop ive ever been a patron of. I came in for a preorder - it was easy, no hassel about anything else, and hooked me up with a left over poster from another game that people had backed out of preorders.

Positive experience: Prices are a bit high on used games. Minor pestering from the employees to join their rewards program. Biggest complaint is that the geeky nerd merch takes up more space than the actual games. They also don't have retro games, and they barely have any stuff for PC. It's okay if you're a current gen console gamer, but not much else.

Fantastic experience: I always have good service when I visit this location but the GM Brandon is outstanding! He's attentive to his customers and always knows what games I would love. I visit this store more then my local one cause you can't get the same service locally, due to they barely pay attention to who's in the store.

Negative experience: The lack of communication it is not a good place to go if you want to do business and I say that because the gentleman told me that he couldn't take my old Xbox 360 without having my remote control for the system and that was find, so left the store and I went all the way back to the house and came back the gentleman informed me that he couldn't take the control because the nods was all worn down so the moral of the story is that they didn't want to give me any money for my system to buy the Xbox one but I Bought it anyways .
