Negative experience: Called and put an item on hold, employee took my info down for the hold but when I got there not even an hour later the store was closed with a “back soon :)” sign on the door even though all the open signs and lights were on. We waited around 20 minutes before the employee came back and opened the store again with gas station snacks. She in fact did not put the item on hold my husband and I had to look through the entire store for It. We will not be back to this location.

Negative experience: NOT SURE WHY THEY WAS CLOSED BY 7PM TONIGHT WHEN IT SAYS THEY CLOSE AT 8PM. SMDH THIS IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS

Negative experience: Traded in my PS5 to purchase a used PS5 Pro. After they shipped me two duds I just bought a new one from CostCo. Stuck with this gift card since they refused to give me a full refund. Masters of ripping people off. Shop elsewhere.

Negative experience: Brought in a controller, 2 headsets and a webcam. Was told that don't take any of these items in which is already crazy but it didn't help the nerd behind the counter had an attitude about it

Positive experience: Good selection, employees are helpful. But: they don't offer gift receipts! We stopped in for a birthday gift, and were told that's only during the holiday season. If you want people to buy birthday gifts here, you need to offer gift receipts.

They put it on a GameStop MasterCard and you can't even use the card to pay things online due to the fact that the card doesn't have enough numbers on it. Very disappointed. Fantastic experience: This has to be my favorite GameStop in Lexington. Whenever I come in the employees are talkative, informative, and funny. It's always got the newest games and a bunch of quality used games. No PS5's in person yet, but they'll be there once the supply shortage works itself out I think they're suffering from the labor shortage, so please be patient with these guys. They're good people.

Negative experience: Not gonna give them 1 star because of one employee. But I am a pro member. And I frequent this location often. But today I went in to get rid of my V Apple Watch. I had already looked on the website prior going up there just to make sure they accepted them and what i was looking to gain by taking it there. My watch like new condition. I’m just simply tired of it. It does do anything special and it’s current. A series 5. I lay n m y watch down along with my license. And first thing the guy does is grab the phone looking at me stating “hold on a sec. while I make this call to see if we take them “ I proceed to ask why does he need to do that. It clearly says on the site they accept them. Not to mention the whole wall on the right when you walk in. Is full of apple products. iPads,watch’s, phones you name it. So what made my watch different. Idk and this could be reaching a bit far. But could it be the clerk profiled me and assumed the watch was stolen. I’ll never know. But I left. Told him don’t even worry about it I’ll just go to a different l location or listed it on the market. Idk the guys name but he was there on this date June 27,2021 at the new circle rd location. And was the only one there so they know who I’m talking about. But yeah. Ima change these stars now.

Fantastic experience: The employees here are always helpful and willing to take their time explaining things. There's always a wide variety of games to choose from and their clearance rack stays full for the budget gamer that likes franchise items. This place can get super busy though so don't be surprised if you walk in and it's full of customers, but they usually have gaming kiosks set up and the patrons are more than happy to engage in some friendly competition.

Fantastic experience: The young gentleman with the dreads was working alone and had several customers in the store, yet helped me thoroughly none the less! I highly recommend to his boss to offer him a raise and a bonus for the excellent customer service. I am a former gamestop employee and worked for the company for 3 years, so his kind spirit, and top notch attitude really gave the store a great vibe!

The employee I talked to was very helpful and polite. Decent selection in store, and as I said earlier it is very well organized, making it quite easy to find what you are after.

Fantastic experience: Went to grab a few new games with my oldest son for his birthday this evening. Typically when we visit this store, which is quite often - Considering I have 8 and 5 year old boys who are absolutely crazy about any and all of the 'Lego' games for PS4 - the employees have, in the past, made me feel as if we were a bit of a bother or an annoyance, maybe. I have well behaved children who know better than not to mind their manners (especially in public!!) So, I've just chalked the annoyed feeling up to being from my boys being of a slightly younger age group than what is most ideal, or perhaps, maybe their 'E' rated games aren't very exciting to spark up a convo about... Who knows? Tonight there was a gentleman working who made our trip to the game store a lot more welcoming than usual. It was refreshing, to say the least. Instead of the usual glares and foot tapping, or eyeballing the clock, we had actual conversation with the person working their tonight. He even made me feel at ease about my kiddos taking a bit long, being indecisive, by sharing about his two little ones at home. I'm truly sorry that I didn't think to catch his name... Had I known Google would be asking me for a review, I certainly would have, haha. Anyways, you get the point. Excellent customer service and a nice, welcoming atmosphere that my little ones and myself found as a nice change.
