Negative experience: Beware buying controllers at game stop. Brand new controllers dont come with a warranty unless you purchase an extended warranty. My new controller developed stick drift less than a week after purchase after only a couple hours of playtime. I will go elsewhere for any future controller purchases.

Negative experience: This location has bad service and never answers the phone.

Kara Fortier Posted on Google 11 months ago

Negative experience: Very poor experience with Trevor (Morse Rd.) when I asked for assistance. I would recommend going just about anywhere else. Unfortunate.

Negative experience: Wanted to return a pre-owned controller turns out that the man at the register didn’t put the number in that I gave him.

Fantastic experience: Local GameStop never disappoints. Always got new items and they keep me updated on all upcoming items. I always have a preorder pending. Personnel and Management is really what keeps me coming back. Shout out to my guy M*

Fantastic experience: Haven't had any issues PSA side of things , Weslee & Cassidy usually do my submissions. I don't mind people going between my submissions since I know it's a lengthy process when someone just wants to quickly check out... surprised people left bad reviews about it tho the ones that have done my subs clearly knew what they were doing.

Tom Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Glad to know I can't trust this gamestop anymore... when you label the price of something... maybe ring it up as that price, I'm not the one that made the mistake. I get your system might change the price, but honor what you put and don't feed me guff about "we can get fired for honoring prices." How about you get fired for the mislabeled price already a greedy organization, but it gets worse and worse. Ever since they lost Neil, this gamestop turned to garbage. The only props I can give is they arranged the store to look nice.

Negative experience: Every time I go in and the soft spoken ethnic girl is working the front I just know I’m going to have an issue. 3/3 on not being able to get something done when I’ve gone in and she’s present. At this rate this location should just close and stop advertising they’re doing PSA.

Ed S Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: I spoke to a female associate Saturday night about my submission to PSA and she quickly says “your cards are at PSA” without any known facts of what batch and when it was sent out. Either way she mentioned me to call PSA and PSA told me that GameStop submissions should be handled through GameStop customer service. Either way whoever she is should just be let go, just a mess of a know it all who will just end up making angry guests.

Positive experience: Very helpful employee’s, wanted a couple games for my 5yr. old granddaughter. I was helped right away & was given several game titles & what the game does… Was very pleased..

gage dittman Posted on Google 1 year ago

Negative experience: Very unprofessional wanted us to wait for everyone before helping us grade our Pokémon cards! The more masculine lady! Go somewhere else for business...

Jeremy Watts Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: Very good customer service. After having my time wasted at the Newark and Heath store, I drove 45 minutes here. They helped me and had everything done in about 15 minutes. That's how you do it

Fantastic experience: Surprislying busy. Staff was patient and still courteous. Had a great deal, Kids' graphic tees that couldn't pass up. Another visit on 3/29. The boy found a perfect ender dragon plushie. Staff is always great to chat with and helpful.

Negative experience: Got a GameStop trade card and was assured by the employee that it would work online on their website to buy PlayStation gift cards. GameStop hasn’t allowed that in more than a year

Faith Davis Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: This location is constantly closed during regular business hours. They lose sales because no one is ever there. Occasionally a sign is posted that the single associate is out for lunch (which for a retailer is kinda nuts), but now, it's just doors locked and gate down when it should be open. As I've been sitting here in the parking lot typing this 4 people have tried to come to the store They should just close it permanently at this point.

Rashawn Chunn Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: I came for Tekken 8, but i also found a used copy of Rachet and Clank Rift Apart for $39.99, but when the cashier scanned it, it rings up $49.99. I point out the difference in price, and he honors it, but the store manager comes by and says, "It's too much of a discount." I reiterate the price shown on the barcode, stating it's not a discount, but the manager stands by his statement, so I told him to put it back. They lost a $40 sale over $10 due to a price tag THEY mislabeled. I won't be returning to this location.

Russ P Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: Manager was extremely rude after opening the store late. Then proceeded to tell me they did not have a new Pokémon TCG product in the back and sold it to a lady who went into the store behind me and would not sell me one when I went back in. I talked to the lady who bought the product and she confirmed she had not preorderd it. I've never be treated so rudly at a gamestop in my life. Please take corrective action.

Andrew B Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: Got a PS5 here, the associates were dope and super helpful. Their passion and knowledge will definitely have me back for a new release soon

Brayden Perry Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: I got a game from here with no game inside, which there was supposed to be a game inside the case when I purchased. It would not be much of a problem if I live close, but I live several hours away. And the only way for me to get a refund is by driving back to this gamestop which would take several hours to (potentially) get my money back. But with this store, I believe I won't get my money back regardless of the instructions followed.

Fantastic experience: Jahmez barnett is literally the goat! I hope you guys are treating him well & paying him accordingly.

Nate Posted on Google 2 years ago

Negative experience: This place is by far the worse gamestop in Columbus. I spent over $300 on a used PS4 and a few games. Get home and they didn't put the controller cable in the box so I had to go back and get one, after I get it set up, I put a game in and it's too scratched to read it. I try to eject it and the eject button is broke completely off the console. They won't answer the phone when I tried to call. Their service why I was in there was horrible. Go to any other Gamestop. This one is trash

Sherri Colvin Posted on Google 2 years ago

Fantastic experience: I've been in there a couple of times, the young men was very pleasant.

Jose Shipe Posted on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Unacceptable. I preordered a game and expected the preorder bonus just to pick up the game and the associate tell me they are out of the bonuses. The associate then says the bonuses were limited. There was no communication leading up to the release of the game from gamestop telling me that the bonus was limited. Had they done so I would have went to the midnight release. I would have preordered from another retainer for a different bonus had I known the bonus I was expecting I would not receive. This is very unacceptable from any company.

Cori Reese-Corona Posted on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: I think I'm boycotting Gamestop for awhile. At least this location. Went to get some games (most were preowned) Took them to the register and a couple rung up more than what the sticker prices were. When I politely asked the associate if those prices were correct (even stated I may have read the prices wrong to show I'm not trying to be difficult), she rudely stated "Those are old stickers on these; the prices they ring up as are the prices they are now" I canceled the whole transaction after being told that. False advertising at its worst. I've worked a lot of years in retail and trust me, I've heard and see it all as far as people trying to get over on businesses and such. But I've also been in situations where us as a business were in the wrong and had to correct our mistakes to provide customer satisfaction. This particular situation was completely wrong on Gamestop's end and the fact that she was firm in her word over a clear error that was made just left a sour taste in my mouth and I just became completely disinterested after that. Had one price sticker did that I wouldn't have made a big deal about; but the fact that 2 of the games I brought up to the counter all rung up different prices than what was on the sticker; that was a big NO for me. So again, I think I'm off of Gamestop for awhile, at least this particular location because it was absolutely nothing right about that situation at all.

Fantastic experience: They had everything I needed for my son's birthday gift. They went above and beyond to help me out and I appreciate it. He got 2 games a new switch system and accessories. Thank you to the 2 gentleman who helped us today.

ziya martinez Posted on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Yeah I called not too long ago and asking for help on my ps5 and the person who answered was James. I asked him how can I fix it and he said to just send it to Japan to fix it which was dumb then I asked him how much if I give it to them he said 200 I got upset then he said well if it wasn’t broken he would’ve done it for 300 then I said wow that scamming then hung up in my face honestly that very disrespectful!

Tay Wop Posted on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Worst customer service I could get. I just bought an Xbox series X with full warranty I goes back to get an exchange for a controller because it has terrible drift already and it’s only been 2 months. Mind you the first game system they sold me didn’t even let me start any game without freezing. The Employee tells me I can’t exchange the controller with the warranty without exchanging the entire console. Never heard of this he goes we can give you $25 store credit and you can just buy a controller so I settle. He then says he needs my ID for me to get the credit which I don’t understand when I had other proof of identification. I just proceed to buy a used controller instead just to get home and the controller does the same thing don’t shop here they will scam you out your money

Negative experience: Bought my grandson a Nintendo switch, with extra warranty and a game. That experience was fine, the two guys working seemed knowledgeable and helpful enough. Then I returned a few months later to return it for a new switch because his would no longer charge just using the charger or the docking station. This time a young lady was working. Instead of just doing the exchange she attempted to debate with me about the issue. First she questioned if I was charging it correctly ? I was not aware you could plug a charger in incorrectly. She then peered into the charging port and proclaimed that it appeared to be fine. SERIOUSLY? This is the diagnostic test ? Also I wasn't aware that debating a GameStop employee was part of the return procedure when I paid all that extra money for the extended warranty. She also suggested I try charging it with the docking station instead, which I already stated did not work either. Then they could not locate my warranty info. In their system, thank god I still had the receipt as proof. Throughout the entire process every step was an issue that required the manager to intervene and simply press a button on the computer for her. This was no manager level over ride, just simply him reaching past her and pushing a button. Then she used my old number on the new warranty I again purchased for the replacement game and when I requested it be changed to my current cell number it was apparently impossible. So now I realize my grandsons new Minecraft cartridge was left in the game and have been trying to call them before I drive 60 miles back to see if I can recover it but everytime I call I get an electronic message telling me no employee is available and then hangs up on me. Having strong second thoughts about going there again, I have spent $500+ there in the last 4 months and would have hoped for better.

Sarah DeRose Posted on Google 3 years ago

Negative experience: Went to return 3 games. Guy was the store leader. Asked if I had receipt. Said I have the order numbers. Go to insert my card to get refund. He goes you need the card you paid with. I said I don’t have it can injait use the debit. He goes *sigh* it usually Has to be refunded to original payment method. Never had I heard this in my entire time going to game stop. Nor have I seen it on the receipt. Wasn’t polite and was rude. This is Columbus Ohio Morse Road

Fantastic experience: Neil, the manager, is amazing. He's always super helpful and informative. This is the best GameStop we've been to.

Donald Nye Posted on Google 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: Have always been a fan of these stores. New and used games and consoles in a dedicated store. Fast, friendly service!

Inez King Posted on Google 4 years ago

Positive experience: Always a pleasure to go here. I was upset that I tried to use a couple of my $5 rewards for the 2 months i didnt come up here but was told it had expired. Its crazy because I went to another gamestop and they let me use one bc I hadnt been up there the last month. Its coo though. I still rock with them.

Nina Hargis Posted on Google 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: Definitely one of the best game stops my finance and I have been to! The workers are kind and very helpful and patient with questions. Also have good on hands people that have played a lot of the games and good personal opinionated reviews on a wide variety of games. Never crowded and a good selection.

Andrew Kohler Posted on Google 4 years ago

Fantastic experience: I went looking for a is a nintendo switch Oled Yesterday and I found a black-and-white model That I didn't think would be in stores. I purchased that And a metroid game pack And was happily on my way home.

Archangel XI Posted on Google 4 years ago

Positive experience: Little rough with prices and resell but other than that, kinda the place to go, to grab a game in need, real fast. Got most of my games day one thanks to them.

Daniel Okoro Posted on Google 4 years ago

Positive experience: It would have been and five star if the commutation is a little bit better I ask if they take xbox one x for trade in they said they don't do it that find but u don't have to asked for name and information when I call in to ask that question.

Pearl Wagner Posted on Google 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Love this store! We travel a distance now to get to this shop. Most of the other ones are so ghetto or dirty feeling. This GameStop and the one on High St are our favorites!!

Chaprice Washington Posted on Google 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Another family favorite location. My family loves it at gamestop but these guys definitely have a great personality and make you enjoy shopping. I have little ones that can get excited easily but the staff doesn't make you feel like you let a wild banshee free. Which as any mom knows that's a bonus.

Shane Posted on Google 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: This is literally the best GameStop to go to hands down a great experience every single time I can come in and complain about random things and ask stupid questions and leave happy I love the employees and 10 star customer service I get every single time I come Neil and Adam always go above and beyond

-Conner- Posted on Google 5 years ago

Positive experience: This is our go to game place if we don't order online. Love the trading and resale they do to give you a better option to get something expensive in a used or practically new condition at a better rate, as it can get expensive! Don't care for the fact they will pay a higher credit on trade in items for certain things such as super old xbox 360 games from like 2016 for example, but then not accept some of our newer Xbox one games explaining that they just stopped accepting that kind? I don't know if it's because that some 360 games are like classics now or what but only reason I don't rate 5.

Queen Williams Posted on Google 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Those ppl are some good sales ppl, they will upsell you the whole wall of stuff so effortlessly lol go in for a game come out with a console lol, but its cool, the store is clean and organized, the ppl are nice, professional, and well informed. Will visit again.

Stephanie Blazer Posted on Google 5 years ago

Fantastic experience: Our family went to this GameStop so our 6 year old daughter could buy a Nintendo Switch game with her allowance. She came in wanting a game that was not ideal for a 6 year old and while we tried to convince her to get a game more intended for her age and skill level, she was not having it. Adam M, I believe he is a store lead, came over to help diffuse the situation. He really took time to help her calm down and see that a different game would really be better for her to play. He was so thoughtful and patient with us. She loves the game she ended up with! Thanks so much for all the great customer service!

Aaron Thomas Posted on Google 6 years ago

Positive experience: They have changed and so has gaming. They are good with customer service, just the selection has gone down. They are more into selling trinkets rather than games and such.

Dustin N Posted on Google 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Everytime I go here, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I like the trade credit. I even traded an old phone. Get the pro membership.

Rich Banco Posted on Google 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Best GameStop in the city. Very friendly staff and great mix and games and pops. Adam is the best, ask for him for any questions and he will assist you.

Not Anyone Posted on Google 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Honestly Customer service is very good. They will help you out as much as possible. Just be patient with them and you will get what your looking for. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will help you find a place that does.

Arthur Nyoni Posted on Google 7 years ago

Positive experience: Friendly staff and helpful service, a little odd that their online listings didn't match the store but I suppose you'll have that and that's not necessarily the stores fault. I will probably shop at this game stop again.

B Wagner Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I went in searching for a couple of used games and found exactly what I was looking for. Despite the store seeming to be rather busy at the time, an associate greeted me and asked if she could help with anything within 5 minutes of me walking in. I told her what I was looking for and she found it for me immediately. Particularly considering that I was carrying my one year old at the time, I truly appreciated how quickly I was able to complete my visit.

Monica Payne Posted on Google 7 years ago

Negative experience: Went to buy a gift card for my nephew and to check out possible game selection. One clerk was very helpful. The clerk that checked me out was rude and seemed more interested in a conversation between shoppers. Doubtful that I return.

Beckie Casperson Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: They are very patient, courteous. I appreciated that they were so nice to allow my grandson to make his purchase on his own, it made him feel like he was handling his own business.

Allana W Posted on Google 7 years ago

Positive experience: Crowded, but that's to be expected given the deals they have. Awesome variety of items and games! Definitely something for everyone!

Chris Selzer Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: Shopped here quite a few times, and it's a good experience every time. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, finding things at other locations for me when they don't have it in stock. I got my Spiderman pre-order here and their system to distribute both that and other people's NBA2K pre-orders on the same night ran smooth. The staff here sets it above other locations I've shopped at.

Hye Choi Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: I bought fire fade edition with only 20 bucks!

Nate Filkins Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: Picked up RDR2. Staff handled everything really well. Between giving out numbers to actually releasing the game. Done like clockwork.

Mike Harris Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: The Easton location has the better selection of games, than anotherocation I've been to. I haven't had any bad games referring to bad discs. Now you can catch up on games for Xbox 360 for a fair price.

Sarah Selzer Posted on Google 7 years ago

Fantastic experience: A good variety of merchandise for anyone that loves games. They sell t-shirts, plushies, mugs, figures, and more. They also have power rewards that helps you save money on every game so that you can buy more games. All in all its a decent place to pick up the games you want and nerd out too.

Iris Flower Posted on Google 8 years ago

Positive experience: You will walk the isles looking at video games, Pop figures, stuffed toys of various nerdy variety and other knick knacks video game, movie and anime related. So many things are crammed into the store only one person can fit down an isle comfortably. They have a membership with different levels, the more you pay the better the perks. You can trade in old games, but don't expect much in return. Sales associates are knowledgeable on many of the games and enjoying playing them!

jessica Posted on Google 8 years ago

Negative experience: Smells like ass in here. Like who is not taking showers that is working in there.. it was so bad. We left as soon as we walked in because it was so gross.

J.S. Scott Posted on Google 8 years ago

Positive experience: This is one if the best GameStops that I have been to. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and let you shop at your own pace. Highly recommend to visit.

Lexy Steinberger Posted on Google 8 years ago

Fantastic experience: Completely friendly and helpful when my roommate and I got a Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild, and helped match our friend up with the best deal they could when trading in their old 3ds for a new one. Lovely people and fun to talk with about all things nerdy. Totally recommend going there for all your gaming needs.

C.J. Posted on Google 8 years ago

Fantastic experience: Staff is excellent and it's always stocked with the games and accessories you are looking for if not they can order it for you and have it shipped to your home

Ja Hoover Posted on Google 8 years ago

Fantastic experience: I had a surprisingly good experience here. The sales associate I dealt with could talk Buckeye football and had had an encyclopedic knowledge of games I was searching. How does he have time to work, eat, and sleep?

Alishia Newkirk Posted on Google 8 years ago

Positive experience: Very helpful. Called store to check on the stock of a product, they held it for me with no issues. Also even tho tag prices were incorrectly labeled staff checked and even gave me a discount

Mike Weisenberger Posted on Google 8 years ago

Negative experience: GameStop is really going down hill these days. Game sales are mostly digital now and the staff are ALWAYS pushing you to pre-order or buy things in store. I don't know how they can improve the store or it's outlook, but someone needs to make it better. Many stores seem to be having closeout sales and filling the front up with a bunch of stupid things like shirts and pop-figures. Fix your stores Gamestop, I don't want you to go away... but they all feel so bad inside.

Kathleen Steele Posted on Google 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: I didn't even make 2 whole feet into the store before the gentleman asked if he could help me, I asked for a miracle and produced the Nintendo switch for me. But the other times I've also use this location they've been very helpful if they didn't even have the product but helping me look for where they do have the product in stock.

Brett P Posted on Google 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: Great service, very nice employees. We were in line waiting for the Nes classic edition and they opened 30 min early so we didn't have to sit outside

Devin Shultz Posted on Google 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: People are really knowledgeable about the products, and go the extra mile to diagnose problems with existing equipment. I had a XBox One controller go bad and couldn't figure out why, and in 10 minutes, the employee had it figured out. They also tell you the pros and cons of products before you buy so you know what you're getting into if you buy.

Kristen Atts Posted on Google 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: Great staff. My son was looking for something specific. They did not have it, but another Game Stop nearby did. They gave us the address and instructions to get there. Wow.

Derick M Posted on Google 10 years ago

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff (at the time I went anyway), clean and well kept store, fast transaction, offered extra assistance, and it's not in the mall proper so it didn't take an eternity to get to. Can't reasonably ask for more.

Tim Lakin Posted on Google 10 years ago

Fantastic experience: This store has done a great job with merchandising and how product is displayed and stocked throughout the store. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They offer a rewards program but aren't pushy about it. They also pay well for used games or hardware, often better than you could get from someone on Craigslist.

Rob Smith Posted on Google 10 years ago

Positive experience: Was a hectic shopping day in December. They had their store in good order, and were helping people get what they needed so the line would move faster. Very organized. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable.
