Negative experience: Not sure why I expected GameStop to carry games or controllers. No Pokémon Pokopia and no Switch 2 Pro controller that wasn't some knockoff. Dude behind the counter was a fun combination of rude and clueless. The line was out the door. I think I'll buy game stuff from Walmart from now on.

Fantastic experience: Went in on 5/5 530pm. There 1 was associate. They were excellent. Great service to everyone and recovering the sales floor all alone. Even ended up pre ordering a game. As a retail dm I would have been proud to have them in my store. Went today and only saw 1 employee again. He was doing good though helping everyone and still suggestive selling with a long line. Great work!

Negative experience: Lady was rude and all I asked was if they had the promotional code

Fantastic experience: The lady that is working today (Saturday 9/13/25, seems like she is a manager of some sort) was extremely nice… I had a situation regarding a borderlands 4 pre-order mask… the people on Outer loop didn’t want to give me one so I went through a whole thing of talking to customer service and they sent me an email to show to the GameStop employee so I decided to come to the mall Saint MATTHEW’s location instead… I was explaining the situation and she gave me a mask with a smile on her face and went back to her work. It’s actually shocking that there’s people who would hoard a plastic mask. My nephew will love the mask so she made his day. I dislike the mall totally but anytime I need something from GameStop I will go to this location! Bless this woman! I hope GameStop takes care of her to the maximum!

Negative experience: This place is a joke. They will tell say you are buying one thing but when you get home it’s something totally different. When you go back to try and fix the situation. You will be told NOPE IT’S OPENED YOU ARE STUCK WITH THIS. WHILE THEY ARE LAUGHING RIGHT IN YOUR FACE IN FRONT OF OTHER CONSUMERS. Avoid GameStop like COVID

Fantastic experience: The absolutely best experience I have ever had in a Game Stop. I'm terrible with names, but the gentleman that helped me was fantastic (I was there the morning of 4/26/25). I was purchasing a refurbished console and he took the time to double check everything, test controllers, help me with games, etc. Highly recommend this location for your gaming needs.

Negative experience: Usually every GameStop that I go to is very welcoming and asking if there's anything I'm looking for. Then I came across this one. The first time I went in I was not greeted, nor did they ask if there was anything I was looking for. I felt completely ignored. Then the second time I went in I was curious if they had any Prismatic Evolutions from Pokemon TCG. Before I even finished my question the woman said "NOPE! You should've pre-ordered!" To the guy that she was training whenever I went in, don't take any advice she gives you. She clearly knows nothing about customer service. If you don't want to deal with people then don't work in customer service. Worst GameStop I've went to by far. To the woman, I hope you get humbled someday.

Negative experience: So I went in here about 3 days ago to pick up a funko pop that was only in gamestop, i notice the store is dead and there is only one employee working behind the counter helping a customer return some wii remotes or some form of gaming equipment. I waited patiently and talked to my girlfriend for probably 15 minutes until the other employee came out and stood next to the register talking to the first employee i mentioned, i waited for this employee to finish her conversation for roughly 3 minutes just for her to look at me and say “I’m going on my 30 sorry dude.” Like are you kidding me? You see the other person is busy helping a customer and you absolutely need to take your well earned break from a busy day at gamestop right in front of a customer who has been waiting patiently for a 30 second transaction? Absolutely ridiculous, i hope your break was enjoyable, and you will not be seeing me give you guys any more of my money.

Negative experience: The person behind the counter carried on a 20 minute long conversation with a customer while I waited to check out and then proceeded to deny me to view something behind the counter. Suffice to say I chose not to make any purchases. This kind of experience is why GameStop is dying.

Negative experience: This place is a joke. I went in looking for a game. I’m a gamer and a mother of a mixed kid. The lady that was there kept looking at me and my child and was making side comments about me having a mixed baby. Like it’s none of anyone business why my kid is half black. The lady’s name was Fredricka on her name tag. It makes me sick someone wants to talk about someone’s child and not even know the back store on why my kid is mixed.

Fantastic experience: This place is a tone of games to choose from. It’s almost impossible to keep my gamer kids out of this glorious institution. Good luck hanging onto your paycheck.

Negative experience: Location is always closing early I've had a bunch of online orders sit for multiple days because no one is ever at this store

Negative experience: Stood in line for 20 minutes and watched as the staff assisted customers behind me and customers around the store before even tending to me or addressing me I then I finally get acknowledged and tell the guy what I wanted he grabs what I was looking for and sets it on the counter then another employee tells him to hold on and assist another customer who was barely in the store for 5 minutes asking about if they had ps4 in stock so that adds another 15 minutes to my 20 minute wait I have never felt so ignored and brushed off in my life so I walked out I will not be returning and thinking about canceling my pro membership as well

Fantastic experience: They tell you everything you need to know and what your buying great and friendly

Negative experience: They sold my son a defective Xbox series x. We had to take it and have the disk drive serviced the first week we had it. It was a huge waste of money and time. It would have been cheaper to buy it new somewhere else.

Positive experience: This GameStop was easy to find inside the St. Matthew's Mall and had a friendly worker that was very helpful. The only reason I didn't give this GameStop 5 stars due to them not having game they said they had which my son wanted to buy. They did however have many shirts on clearance so I bought myself one, while my son picked out another game so all was well.

Positive experience: Line was very long, took about an hour to make my purchase. I don't think they expected to be that busy that day, or could have been short handed. Overall service was excellent, the team member at the counter was very helpful. He handled the the line as fast as he could. This is a great place to trade games, even used controllers.

Positive experience: Clean store. Staff is a little overbearing. I know they have to offer you warranties. However, once I say no, you don't have to spend the rest of the transaction trying to sell me on it.

Negative experience: Will never purchase a game at this store again. I purchased what was suppose to be a brand new game and I know little about gaming so I didn’t think the protection plan would be necessary for a brand new game. I give the game as a gift and the disk won’t read due to a large scratch down the disk. Live and you learn but I won’t make this mistake again and buy from them.

Now I can make a educated decision. Most of the consoles are the same price as everywhere else however the accessories might be a little bit more expensive.

Negative experience: The Manager named Harper is a punk and is un patriotic unprofessional. I came in to get a game and mentioned the previous time I recieved my discount. And he began a tirade about how its wrong and I have to be in uniform to get my discount "technically". Despite having my valid ID. I called him out on his bullcrap and he got quite. This is wrong that an employee would fight so hard against someone that made an oath to protect and defend this country. Over a silly video game.

Asked staff for help and they were friendly and helpful though. Only complaint is I was looking for some specific things but it was such a cluster in that small space made it difficult to really shop. Not everything was priced correctly either.
