Negative experience: Someone keeps answering the phone says, Gamestop Hold ,then never returns to the phone. No wonder why gamestop is going out of business. Just ordered an X box from Walmart. This place sucks!

Negative experience: Worst experience ever the lady or man or whatever it was kept putting my mom on hold for 30 minutes so while my mom was waiting in the car me and my dad go into the gamestop and we Overhear the person at the desk talking to her boss on the phone and we hear her say that *my moms name* keeps calling over and over and that my mom cussed her out and yelled at her for the past 30 minutes..(obviously my mom didnt cuss her out and we were with her while she was on hold) little did she know me and my dad were in the store listening to her tell her fake story, Anyways this place sucks and the lady or man at the desk is clenched as hell

Negative experience: TLDR they don't clean the used products they resell or make sure they work and their employees are horrendous. I don't think you could hire more socially incapable employees if you tried- they have zero customer service skills and are out right rude. I was sold faulty items (at another location) and brought them back same day to the one closer to me. I was met with eye rolls, passive aggressive attitude and condescending remarks. When I walked in I politely greeted them and was ignored despite them seeing and hearing me and two of them standing there doing nothing. Sorry to bother you while you get paid to ruin the brand of the company you work for. I was sold a brand new pro controller here a couple years ago that was clearly used when I opened it- covered in funk (was told then that the employees take them home and try them out as if that was supposed to make it better than some random dude was using my products then selling them as new). This time, one of the controllers I was returning from another store was declared used but was also covered in funk and an actual bug crawled out - so they don't clean them- and the other one I bought at the same time had a broken headphones jack. If you cant even pretend to be a decent person while doing a customer service job, I am not sure where you will fit in society but for the sake of customers and the brands you damage, I hope you find something else to do in life. You act like I inconvenienced you while I was the one who had their time wasted. The proper response is "I apologize (on behalf of the company who pays me) for your inconvenience". The manager from the other store I spoke with was equally rude (though the salesman from earlier was polite- but did mention his boss was going to show up and yell at him for not getting enough done). Is this a domino affect of middle managers passing down bad behavior down the line to where the employees pass it on to customers? Because it's common here- aside from the one decent guy I encountered who vented about his mistreatment. Do better gamestop, for the sake of anyone else who still spends their money with you. I'll be shopping with target who I took my refunded money to, who had better deals and better and cheaper warranties (2 year warranty for 6 dollars compared to a 1 year warranty for 9 dollars).

Negative experience: This is the worst gamestop i’ve ever been too. I went to buy a game and it wasn’t even on the shelves even though it was out. They also wouldn’t give me a launch reward with the game because I didn’t preorder. I understand policy, but I have literally always gotten this prize if I buy the game the day it comes out, for every switch game I’ve ever purchased. They wouldn’t even help me as to if I could get one somewhere else. Even if you’re a university student please don’t go here it’s terrible. I’m never coming back, this is the worst Gamestop on the planet and corporate needs to shut this branch down.

Negative experience: Worst experience I ever had calling a store. They kept putting me on hold. So I then drove up there to see if anyone was in the store. I didn’t see anyone go in or out for 30 min so I called again and got put on hold again for 30 min then decided to just give up. Poor and worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the better GameStop locations. If you want to read something on a box nowadays, though they will hold it with two hands for dear life because so many people have ran out of their store with stuff. Now that’s sad but other than that, they’re very helpful besides the one bigger guy that works there he knows nothing about sports games or games in general, but I’m not gonna give anything short of five stars because of the other guy that has taken care of me many times and helped me find many things I needed for my PlayStation five. Also I wish somebody would’ve told me about the show 24. This game is heat.!!! Thankfully there was a customer inside the store that had played it and reassured me that it was a good game and so far it has been a great game!!

Negative experience: I went to purchase a Nintendo switch light. I was hoping to buy a used one and I noticed a used one in the display case. I then asked the associates if they had any use ones and he advised me that they didn't. So I made the purchase for a brand new one. The associate went to the back and came and handed me a box but as I started to exit I noticed that it was not a brand new it was in fact a used one! I immediately turned around and said "I thought you all didn't have any use ones" with a quizzical look on my face, "this is not a new one and you charged me for a new one." I stated. He then said, "Oh. I'm sorry", and he went and switched it out for a brand new one. I hate to feel like this is a shady move. But I feel like it was. I like gamestop but I didn't like my recent experience. If you are older or inexperienced with gaming systems, I advise you to inspect your purchase before exiting.

Negative experience: If I could’ve gave them negative stars, I would’ve gave this GameStop negative stars the lady that waited on me was exceptionally rude, and threw my change at me, and proceeded to curse me out. The lady acted like it was a problem for me to ask any type of questions about the games that I was purchasing or on the answering. Those questions was completely bothering her.

Negative experience: Once politely told the guy here that I was not interested in the gamestop membership and please let that be the end of it. He took it personally and refused to sell to me and instead kept trying to pressure me into it while dropping hints that I should leave and that he would not sell to me. This interaction stuck with me for years and i've stopped shopping here.

Negative experience: I walk into gamestop a man at the counter had a bad attitude it's a very hot day to sale a game system a Xbox s series and he tells me over the phone it will be 140 dollars is what he would give me I get there he wants to give 70 dollars for a series s I tell him that I would take it and yet he says no your going to wait for the manager while he sits down and does not help me do not go to this game stop bad service and even worse employees I'm going to call the BBB to see what can be done about that particular employee not only was his attitude bad but he wants to waste time the manager is on lunch and he refused to give me service

Negative experience: Called asking about the digimon tcg. Employee put me on hold . 10 mins later hung up on. When I called the second time was told no. Tried to sell me a console. When told not interested they said they did not have time for someone looking for cards and hung up on me .

Fantastic experience: The worker there had to handle a customer's order that was ahead of me. He kept apologizing and thanked me for my patience. I knew he was just multi tasking and doing his job so I didn't care and was ok with it. He was still so sweet and nice. I greatly appreciate his customer service. Shop here all the time for the kids. Will continue to go.

Negative experience: Worst GameStop I’ve ever been to...very low stock so low that the game I grabbed off the display stand was out of stock ..some employee stood with her boyfriend and roommate in the way of everything I was trying to look at (Nintendo section) I would get awkwardly close ,say excuse me but they weren’t moving because they were to busy talking about how there dating and they were all roommates “and they were roommates” ...but for real AN EMPLOYEE PREVENTED ME FROM BUYING GAMES AT GAME STOP , THEY HAD A GAME ON DISPLAY FOR ME TO GRAB THAT WAS OUT OF STOCK , WORST PLACE EVER!!!...never going to a GameStop ever again ...enjoy your bankruptcy GameStop I’m going to amazon or Walmart from now on ....WALMART is a better game store now ....think about that ..one more thing I did the math my purchases would have been at least 150 not counting tax so I’m now wondering if its the companys fault or managements fault the there stores are closing down.

Fantastic experience: This is the chilliest gamestop I have ever been in. Which, corporate would hate. But gamestop as a whole has forgotten how to be profitable. I don't want to be asked over and over again about a power rewards card, and be guilted into getting one. Being asked "are you sure?!?" Multiple times we I deny protection added to my game disks. Or being bombarded by preorder info and asking if I want to preorder the latest Halo. This store doesn't do that. The employees are actually helpful and consider your needs over corporate pressure to upsell. They ask questions to get to know what you need, and what you like. Having conversations around your interest. I legit used to be panic attacks going into gamestops because of the tactics they use to pressure you to buy more stuff. Corporate should take notes from this store locations employees. Make Gamestop a cool place to hang out and shop again. Treat employees right, don't pressure them to upsell everyone.

Fantastic experience: I've gone to this particular store ever since its been built. I've seen store crews come and go over the years. Maybe it's because I'm always there, or maybe it's just that they're that friendly, but I have always had great customer/employee relationships there. While they may not always have specific items I'm looking for, (I understand demographics, and the idea of stocking what will move, so it's not the store or employee's fault.) They have always been pleasant and helpful to me. The current manager, Josh, is great to talk to, and really does his best to make sure that customers are welcome and the store runs well.

Negative experience: I Was sold a fake Xbox 360 wired controller. They even label it as a “Microsoft Xbox 360 controller Wired” but it was obviously not an Microsoft brand it was fake and did not work properly.
