Negative experience: Just left the store after picking up the turtle beach and said. The girl with red hair was nice and helpful on the phone before I drove over. The guy with the dreadlocks and less than professional attitude was not. As soon as I showed interest in turtle Beach, he started badmouthing the Brand and trying to show me on literally anything else. In his own words, literally anything else would be better don’t worry. I have multiple sales jobs in my adult life and I’ve never gotten anywhere with someone by badmouthing a company. They are already using or seem to have decided on. Giving them honest customer feedback is one thing, but this came across as his own personal opinions on the company and a poor attempt at making me spend more money on similar products. Only after the sale was finalized, did he mention anything about the Lifespan of turtle Beach headset. He mentioned durability before, but waited until after the purchase was made to say 3 to 4 months is how long you attend to last. A quick Google search will prove that wrong and anyone who’s been gaming for a while and has common sense. Will know that turtle Beach headsets, as long as they’re not thrown around Like a toy will last few years. Trying to pass off a couple of customers for maintenance/care of their possessions and claiming that a well-known brand that’s been established for over a decade makes nothing but crappy products just insult my intelligence.

Negative experience: Today I came in to sell my PlayStation 5, that I only played for a few hours that I purchased at GameStop not too long ago. I was willing to take a few hundred-dollar loss since I wasn't using it. I'm a regular at this location I love the manager. But today I had to deal with something I've never dealt with in my life. The employee that was helping me today, left after making me wait 20 minutes for the system to upgrade so they could purchase it, as it was updating, that employee left and went home during a shift and the other employee took over, after waiting about 30 to 40 minutes, the employee tells me okay we don't have any cash available and I'll have to give you a prepaid card, I said that's unacceptable I really need cash professionally and I told him I understand the process and that I will have to wait for the safe to be unlocked so he could get the cash, I don't do prepaid debit cards, to the me those were sketchy and also I needed to put the cash into my ATM immediately and I was not going to pay ATM fees. He got very upset got very angry and he tried to give me an excuse and said he didn't have any money and that they were $400 short, if anything I'm a customer and I'm only here to buy games and sell games if anything, I did not need for him to give me excuses or to harass me, he started raising his voice and a cameras need to be checked immediately, I need someone in corporate to look into this immediately, the time was around 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. . I told them I was going to report him to corporates and leave a one-star review on Google and I was going to talk to the manager, then he started threatening me and he went and told the manager that I was the issue but no not at all I was very calm and I wasn't going to take his excuses for his slip of being $400 short for whatever reason that is but I now after being a victim and having him raise his voice at me and tell me off with two customers in the store I realized instead of giving me $211 he gave me 2 $100 bills and two $1 bills instead of $1 bill and a $10 bill which means he shorted me $10. So now I understand why the store was short maybe $400. So not only was I harassed today, but I'll never come to GameStop ever again, because I'm a victim of abuse and harassment for my entire life because my mother is a narcissist and I've been around horrible situations so this was unfair to me but also this needs to be dealt with. You need to look into the cameras immediately because to lose me as a customer after being with you all for 15 years on a regular basis and after him going crazy and psychotic on me, this has to be dealt with immediately. Because I felt threatened and I felt like I had to say sorry to him so he would calm down. It was very scary to me. Very narcissistic too, making me out to be the problem when I just told him I wouldn't take his excuses it wasn't my issue It was unacceptable for the employee to leave during mid shift and for him to make me wait 45 minutes and tell me he wouldn't give me cash, this is absolute corruption. Please I need your help but really I don't ever want to talk to GameStop ever again I'll never come back again and I hope you take care of the situation and yes please send me the $10 in the mail after you look at the cameras and see that the numbers are short in the safe 18352 Dallas Pkwy #144, Dallas, TX 75287 Is the store location And I tried telling him I was sick and I had to go home I didn't not want to sell my PS5 today but I wasn't playing it and I needed the funds for my account. Today was unacceptable, I'm left speechless and I left shaking today. I did tell him I was going to report him, And I don't tolerate bullying abuse or harassment these days I stand up for myself and others. I don't allow people to talk down to me scream at me yell at me threaten me and tell me off, I was quiet silent for 8 minutes waiting 7 more minutes for him to open the safe because it took 15 minutes he said and then he went absolutely AWOL on me after being silent and just silently waiting. Completely unprofessional ...

Negative experience: Had to wait over an hour and 30 mins just to try and sell my Nintendo switch. Store is dirty and only had one person (who was the store manager) working. She was too occupied dealing with other things and was on the phone while she was “helping me”
Negative experience: I will not return to a Gamestop again, first they sell me a product that doesn't work for me and then they don't want to give me my money back or make an exchange, they sell you just for the sake of selling, their sellers are not trained so sooner or later they will go bankrupt

They even explained everything so I could understand it. The store was well-stocked, and I left with exactly what I needed to make my grandkids happy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more gifts!

Negative experience: I was waiting on Conner to help me but he was busy messing with games and I guess he didn't notice I was trying to check out but when another customer walked in he went straight to helping them instead of me that was kinda rude...I usually always go to this game stop since it's closer to my house but I'll find another one instead
Negative experience: Showed up on Sunday at 2:30pm and the doors are locked and everything is closed. Sign says it should be open by 12:00 pm today. I understand if someone had to step away so they lock the door for a moment if they have minimal staff. But they did not put a sign up or anything

Negative experience: Twice in a row, I was sold faulty controllers. I then had to go to another GameStop, and the service there was even worse. They convinced me to buy their Pro plan, which ended up costing me over $90 for a cheap controller. I could have gotten the same one for $45 on Amazon! The next day, I tried to return the controller and get a refund for the plan, but they refused because I'd already used a benefit. Which was $5 discount. Are you serious? Avoid them! Majority of their stuff can be purchased much cheaper at Amazon or BestBuy with price match.

Negative experience: Went here to return headphones and everything was fine with the guy checking me out but the guy behind him made me uncomfortable by asking me what i’m gonna use the money for, and asking why he’s refunding me what he did. I feel like it’s weird for an employee to ask a customer what they plan to spend the money on. Been here multiple times haven’t felt uncomfortable until now.

Negative experience: Horrible experience! I pre-ordered NBA 2K23 for PS5. I was told come the night of 9/8 and starting at 9p they’ll release the game. I get there at 9:15p and the doors are locked. I see someone behind the register and he comes to the door. He tells me I’m too late and he closed the register. I said it’s only 9:15p and I already paid for the Championship edition. I have my receipt, just hand me the copy. He says they never got in a shipment of the Championship edition on PS5. I said fine, I also have the Series X. Give me the edition on Xbox. He says they never got that copy in either. He said he had to tell others the same thing who bought the same edition as me. This is ridiculous. I should’ve just followed my instincts and bought it digitally. This is not what I expected from GameStop. I don’t know if I’ll continue my business there.

Fantastic experience: Currently in shock, ordered a Funko Pop to be delivered to my house. The wrong one came in. I asked that if another came in to call me. Didn't think that was actually going to happen. Received a call from Danh (618264 number next to is name on the receipt) and he called me to let me know they had one! What makes this 5 stars is that he doesn't work at this location. He works at a GameStop 14 miles away and reached out when he didn't have to. I appreciate this so much, thank you.

She gave me a lot of tips, answered all of my questions, printed out a list of upcoming games so I can look at trailers AND she even wrote down a few of her favorites. Amazing customer service, genuinely nice and informative.
Negative experience: Ordered my game and was supposed to be emailed a code but still nothing. So I am waiting while others are playing it right now, I was told by corporate or what ever overseas call center that I had to wait 24 more hours. I'm not filing a missing persons report I just want my game. This is why gamestop is the typewriter of gaming. Tell blockbuster I said hello.

Negative experience: Would rate 0 stars if I could. The employee today reminded why I stopped going to gamestop in the 1st place. I simply went inside about 20-30 mins ago (1:50 pm now) in which I had a simple question about a pre order of a particular game. The only reply I got was "No" ... literally the only thing he said, when i asked as to why his reply was "Because it releases tomorrow" in the laziest way possible. I get you may get your fair amount of questions you shouldn't have to answer but he was rude and unwilling to give me any information from the jump. Don't spend your money here, they don't care about your satisfaction, its profit before customer service.

I call another location and they instantly answer the phone. There is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to answer the phone at 9am on a Saturday. You can’t be that busy and I know your store isn’t flooded with people at 9am. LAZY. I WILL FIX MY REVIEW IF YOU GUYS FIX YOUR ABILITY TO PICK UP THE PHONE.
