Negative experience: One of the wrost gamestops I have been too. The manager of the store adds warranty on the games without even asking you. My tab rang up like 40$ more then I expected when I asked if the discount was totaled correctly he said yes just swipe your card and we can go over the receipt. As I looked down to swipe i seen 3.99 warranty on each game. I told him I dont need warranty and it turned into an awkward conversation. I rather not experience these kind of confrontations on mark ups. Very displeasing and didnt feel great with the anxiety I get around people.
Negative experience: I had the worst costumer service experience ever, I went for 2 things number: 1 I wanted to see how much I will get if I trade it a game the guy who help me was extremely rude and bad costumer service actitud, I know u probably have a bad day or something but if I know u work in a environment that u have to deal with a lot of people u have to be polite and nice… 2 I asked for the codes for the Pokemon scarlet and violet and the guy gave me the code but his way to do it was really terrible, I was super mad when that happened and I was gonna come back to say something to the guy but I’m like, I don’t want to cause a problem that can harm myself and someone else. Just be better game stop if u know u are a costumer service place.
Fantastic experience: This GameStop was awesome! Went in to buy a new controller, and Raul made my purchase quick and easy. He also answered my questions regarding pre purchases on TCG products. Very respectful and knowledgeable. Will definitely make this one my go to GameStop.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding Service from Raul at GameStop! I came in hoping to purchase a Switch 2 for my son, and Raul went above and beyond to make it happen. Not only did he work to ensure I got the best possible deal, but he even took the time to call GameStop’s home office so I could get credit for my expired gift cards — something I didn’t even know was possible! On top of that, Raul shared insider tips I never would have thought of. He explained how I could trade in old games, phones, and consoles for store credit. I brought in a few items, and to my shock, the trade-in value was so good that I walked out paying only $11 for the Switch 2! I’m absolutely thrilled and will be back often to trade in more items and take advantage of GameStop’s deals. Raul, you’re not just good at your job — you’re THE BEST. Thank you for making this such an amazing experience for me and my son!
Negative experience: Worst store ever — they scam people. I went in to sell 2 games so I could buy 1 game. The clerk told me he would give me $26 for my games. After finishing the trade-in process, he told me he could not give me store credit or a gift card — only cash. Then he handed me $18. When I reminded him that he said he would give me $26, he replied, “I can’t give you store credit; I can only give you cash.” I said, “Then I don’t want to sell my games,” and he responded, “I can’t give you the games back because I already processed the transaction.”
Negative experience: Is this location even worth being open? Regular hours seem to be problematic as there’s always some reason to be closed, and games seem to always be “missing” or “mispriced”. Store is always cluttered and messy, none of the titles and products are checked routinely for accuracy.
Negative experience: As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted with glaring, rude employees. Not a single employee made an attempt to be polite, cordial, or even slightly pleasant. Decided to take my business elsewhere, even if it means paying more, because I think it's worth to pay a couple extra dollars at a place that treats me like a human being. Never returning to this store.
Negative experience: This place stinks. No literally it actually stinks inside. At least it was open. But they had stuff i suppose. at the same time i wouldn't risk the smell. Employee didn't look to happy that my girlfriend told me it was stinky. Maybe some carpet fresh and change the smug like behavior and i wouldn't (and others) leave a bad review.
Negative experience: Terrible customer service from Alex who wouldn't honor the marked price. I bought a pre-owned game marked for $14.99 and at the register it came up as $19.99. Alex didn't notice the difference so I called it out. He acted like I was wrong even though it was clearly labeled $14.99. The response was "it is mislabeled, the price is from 12/2024 and it is June 2025 so this is clearly wrong." Then he just took the label off the package. Really? Clearly? Then after 7 months why didn't you figure out how to relabel it? His response was that "this is why the last manager was fired". Ok, so what did you do to fix it? It's been 7 months after all. Just blame it on the last manager? Is it my fault as a customer? Then Alex had the audacity to ask if I wanted to be part of their Pro membership. Why would I when I will never be back? FYI, Amazon had the same GI Joe for Nintendo switch for cheaper than I paid for the used game at $19.99 at this location.
Negative experience: Around 3pm today, we stopped by the store to see what games they had. We wanted to purchase a used game that was marked at $14.99. When we went to pay, they rang the game up as $19.99. When we questioned the price, the clerk said that it was an old price and they just hadn’t gotten around to change and that’s why the previous manager got fired. He then said coldly “Do you want it or not?” Looks like moving forward we will be purchasing games elsewhere for half the price.
Negative experience: Came in and the manager was being incredibly rude to his worker. Yelling at him while customers were in the store and then continued being rude and smug toward me when I was ready to check out.
Negative experience: Employee was so unhelpful and smug. Looking for the new Nintendo which I'm sure is a hot ticket item, dude acted clueless. Its like I had to pry the information out of him. It was literally just the 2 of us in the store. Its not like he needed to help other people. I ended up finding one at Target online the next day.
Negative experience: Came here with my wife on Sunday and found a group of people waiting outside because of a sign that said the employee went on break and would be back 'soon'. Those people had waited 2 hours before us and we stayed waiting another 2 hours and no one ever returned. Idk how this location is still in business since it looks like it's not the first time based on older reviews. Absolutely ridiculous!
Negative experience: This store continues to be closed during their “open” hours and just leaves a note on the door saying they’re “on break” and “will be back soon”. There was multiple people standing outside waiting. one man even said he had been waiting for an hour. Incredibly unprofessional to just “close” during business hours.
Negative experience: It’s been over an hour with that sign saying they’re on break. They don’t answer the phone. It’s 7 o’clock, and I guess it’ll stay like that until closing time.

Negative experience: First time coming out for an announced pokemon release and the store never opened. Not 1 single employee showed up and no signs indicating a late opening. Over 20 people waited, came and left in frustration. Absolute disregard for customers. Everyone left by 3+ hours..
Negative experience: Avoid this GameStop. They never open on time, even on release days. They rarely get products at release. Such a waste of time to wait for a shop that doesn't seem to want your business. Employee shows up 5 minutes before opening but the manager with the key is 30 minutes late or more.
Negative experience: The location is closed due to weather, but today is absolutely clear sun shining roads 100% clear. This location never opens on time and is ALWAYS closed. This location needs ALL NEW STAFF. Very unprofessional.
Fantastic experience: Mr Sean was very friendly. I had an odd request to get some switch lite used boxes for my kids switch lite I got for Xmas and I needed to put them in the box to give them that sensation of opening up a console box. Well Mr Sean didn’t hesitate. He immediately got me GameStop used boxes to put and wished my kids that they have the best Xmas this year. I really appreciate you Mr Sean. You made a huge difference today.

Negative experience: I ordered an adapter, for online pickup, and it's been almost 24 hours, and I still haven't received confirmation that my order is ready-for-pickup. I've called the Las Colinas GameStop location 5x times, but they DO NOT answer the phone. Also, I've called customer service and they said it takes three days to confirm order pickup, for an item the store has in-stock. That's absolutely absurd!!!!! 1 STAR (⭐)
Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Lazy workers giving short answers to questions and pointing instead of showing where something is. Store is unorganized and dirty. Do better !!

Negative experience: I pre ordered a game and apparently they only got one copy and they sold it to someone else. Then the little girl at the front desk lied and said i could go to another game stop and pick it up. Im glad these people only make $10 an hour
Negative experience: Went there on Sunday in October 2024.tehir website said it was open, google maps said it was open, the store said it was open, and IT WASNT. Stayed until 11:30 and it was still closed .
Negative experience: Store had decided to close 33 minutes early. Swung by at 8:27 pm on a Friday (store hours state 9 pm close) and the doors were locked and gates were closed. Employees were still inside behide register and stared at me until I walked away.
Negative experience: Came by to buy a game and this sign was on the door lol …. It’s 3:50pm. Not the store being randomly closed in the middle of the day.

Negative experience: I've been there twice in the middle of the day now. Both times they were closed. Both times their hours both online and even outside the door said that they were supposed to be open. Can't review anything if the shop is randomly closed sometimes.

Negative experience: Yesterday - called ahead about a product they had in stock and let them know i was coming by to grab it. Got there 30 min before closing time. All locked up and dark. Today, got there 20 min after opening time. Still locked and dark. I triple checked hours on google and their door, and everything still matched up. If you’re going to adjust your hours or not stick to the schedule, update google and door sign!
Negative experience: Just tried to stop by while I was waiting for some food nearby. It was 1:34 PM and they were closed; the gate was blocking the entrance and the open sign was off. I don't know if the opener was running late or if that location is just closed this weekend due to easter but there is no sign in the window saying otherwise. Usually I like this location hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

Negative experience: I have gone to this Gamestop several times since moving to Texas back in October. Each time has been a rough experience but I was willing to give this Gamestop another chance multiple times. As a former GameStop employee from Florida, there are things this Gamestop does that does not meet the customer service standards. They automatically try and charge me the insurance without asking me for it. They belittled the knowledge of me and my wife when it comes to the gaming world and treat us like when are stupid. Lastly, on May 4th, the store opened 1 hour late(store opens at noon, i was there at 12:45pm and no one still was at the store), I had an online order fulfilled and ready for pick up the day before and went during my lunch break. When I returned later that day to try and pick it up again, they were closed again. The unprofessionalism of this store is ridiculous and I will be taking my business to a different Gamestop in the area or shopping on Amazon.
Fantastic experience: A small GameStop with a great personality. I rarely find myself giving a five-star rating to any version or variant of a corporation or franchise. (In Dallas I've done so twice) This store, although smaller than many I have been to across the country makes up for the physical size in enthusiasm through the employees. Enjoyed the fact that I was not blasted with the whole "sign up" marketing pitch. The guy behind the counter knew the games as a fellow gamer should, not just some person behind the counter.

Fantastic experience: Great games and just all around good time shopping in this place, you can always find some good deals and cool things to get your friends. Or loved ones and family. They are getting PS5 systems in and they already have Xbox series x bundles. Don't forget to renew your pro membership.

Negative experience: FedEx said I can’t schedule to pick up at a local facility because GameStop has a special order instruction. Gamestop won’t answer the phone to help with the issue and make the order so I can edit how my package is received. Console was scheduled to be delivered the 20th now says the 2nd when it’s sitting in a warehouse 1.1 miles away from me. Safe to say I won’t be using GameStop for future purchases.

Negative experience: This store does not have the minimum courtesy towards customers. I went to trade in an Xbox for cash and on the first day they said they don't have cash and to walk in the next day. we call them the next day and walk in again and to find out that they don't have cash again. The manager denied that we called on the stores phone number and it must be another store. I come back home and call the same number and ask where they are located and they say that they don't recall talking in the morning and that they did not say they would trade in. Is this a joke? If this is a franchise, the corporation better cancel the license of this place or hire better managers.

Negative experience: Horrible pre-order customer service experience!! I pre-ordered a game at this location and the store manager Jay told me earlier this month that I would be able to pick it up yesterday. However, when I went here to pick up the game, Jay told me that they had sold the game to someone else. He then claimed that "he didn't remember me," that "he didn't remember talking to me," and that "he never would have told me that they could hold the game that long." It's just ridiculous. I have been a longtime GameStop customer and I have spent so much money at this store, and at other GameStop locations. I have been a good customer here, and I followed their instructions with the pre-order and made the required deposit for the game. When I was unable to pick it up on release day, I acted responsibly and called them to ask that they hold the game until 12/21. Over the phone, Jay promised that they would hold the game until 12/21, and that it would be at the store for me to pick up at that time. However, this turned out to be a lie because they sold the game to someone else. Not only did the manager Jay lie to me on the phone, but he also refused to do more to compensate me for the loss. The game I pre-ordered was a Christmas gift, and it is sold out online. When I said that I still wanted the game, Jay and an associate at the store said they could order from one store that still had a copy, but they refused to ship the game overnight to guarantee delivery before Christmas. They also did not offer any kind of discount or in-store credit for my inconvenience. I have been a loyal customer at this store and I have spent so much money here prior to this experience. I followed the instructions for participating in the pre-order, and there were no rules in the pre-order preventing the game from being held until 12/21. I paid the deposit and they promised that the game would be there for me to pick up, yet they sold it to someone else without telling me. They took my money, lied to me, and then I got nothing in return. The low level of customer service that I received here is shocking. I will no longer be shopping at this GameStop location. As a lifelong gamer, I realize that there are many other merchants to buy video games from. I never experienced bad video game customer service like this at Best Buy, Walmart, or Target. I will choose to buy from them from now on, and I will never buy from this GameStop again.
Positive experience: I haven't stepped into a GameStop in years. I can only assume this location is close enough to Daiso Japan and 1/2 Price Books for Google to screw up and decide I went to it.
Negative experience: Within literally 2 minutes of walking in I find 2 games for my son. I make it to the register just to wait almost 30 minutes for them to only find one of the two games I chose. Very friendly staff of 2 people however no discounts or any accommodations for wasting so much of my time.
