Fantastic experience: My dudes and dudettes, this is hands down the best place to go if you’re a nerd like me. They have EVERYTHING. I went here today looking for some DS games after I found my old 3DS in storage, and I kid you not they had the EXACT SAME Lego Ninjago and Spyro games I used to play when I was 10. The people that work here, ESPECIALLY Kera and Nico, are incredibly nice and personable, and clearly very knowledgable about their stuff. On top of that I got a beautiful copy of Pokemon Diamond, and I’m definitely coming back for the MTG commander nights which they have every Thursday. I’m definitely gonna be a long-time customer. Thank you Kera and Nico for a great experience!!! Edit to add: I went to the Carrollton location, I don’t know if there’s a difference in service between their locations but Carrollton is the one to go to!!

Negative experience: If I could leave a zero star, I would. They were very stand-offish, the store was very disorganized, overpriced, and the business has sketchy practices. EDIT: We received a broken controller without knowing. They were rude when we went back to get a refund (they only allow in store credit), all except for the person dressed in all black. She was really nice and gave us a new controller and made sure it worked. We will still not be supporting them anymore, because who trains their employees like that?

Fantastic experience: CCG - Carrollton is coming in clutch for the hobby. I started my Pokemon journey again last summer 2025. I did not realize the scalper game and how fast you need to be to get some of the newer sets. Ascended Heroes came out and I was fortunate to be nearby when they released it. I came in on Saturday 2/28 and forgive me the female staff was super friendly and she was like “THIS IS GONNA BE A HIT”. And she was RIGHT! Thank for supporting the hobby, the community and beyond.

Negative experience: NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. I’ve shopped this store a few times, cards are priced way over current market value. I placed an online order and they messaged me saying the items were not in stock, so i cancelled the order. It’s been a month later and i have not received a refund. Ive called the shop numerous times and they always say they’ll call me back and never do. I have used PayPal many times with refunds and this has never happened. So done with this place.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome and super beginner friendly if you’re starting out in any TCG game from Pokémon, MTG, and even One Piece they’ve got tons of stuff and have such great customer service. Lauryn has done an exceptional job at hosting and judging the one piece TCG tournaments every Sunday and makes sure everyone has fun and plays fair, her assistant Piper is also a great guy, always love to see him there and his posts on the CCG Carrollton Instagram page bringing a humorous and fun atmosphere that all local card shops should have, and Megan of course since the first day I walked in has been a big help and does good work keeping customers informed on what’s what with what the stores got and making sure products stay organized. Overall great card shop and if you’re in the area definitely make a stop if you love anything TCG.

The other staff are always so helpful too and I've never had a bad experience here. Stop by to 1v1 Piper in magic, he's a great opponent! Their Tuesday pokemon judge is really cute too ♡ This is my favorite LGS in the area!

Fantastic experience: I've been in a few times looking for some magic cards and have always left satisfied with my purchases. I went in last week to trade in some old pokemon cards in hopes of buying a gamecube with the store credit. Adam and Kera did an amazing job pricing out the cards and being transparent with their pricing, and i ended up getting almost $200 in store credit. Throughout the pricing we chatted about various games/shows/cards and it made the wait incredibly pleasant. When it came time to buy the gamecube, they spent a solid chunk of time tracking down the last memory card they had in stock and even recommended a good HDMI-AV converter that has made playing it much more enjoyable. Pricing was fair on everything and the system and game are functioning perfectly. The only negative I can say about the store is that now I am itching to go back and pick up more nostalgic games against my wallet's better judgement. Again, thank you to both Adam and Kera for their diligence, good conversation, and just overall good vibes!

Fantastic experience: This was the first store I’ve ever played magic the gathering and they always make me feel like I’m at home. People like Piper and Lauryn running free commander Friday are great to have around the store since they’re super friendly and are willing to jump in games if you need a 4th. I’m fairly new to this game but this LGS will probably always be my store because the vibe is great and lately the commander nights have been free. They also just started doing more magic events too which is cool. Come check it out if you’re in the DFW area!

Fantastic experience: As a big fan of old school games. I am happy to share that this local store is the best you’re ever gonna find for any collector like myself. They literally have everything, and if you’re looking for something they don’t have (I was looking for a gameboy micro) come back in a week and they’ll probably have it (they did). Prices are overall fair considering they clean the systems and test everything. They have a bunch of TCG stuff too if you’re into that.

Noah (I believe that was her name) was amazing and super helpful (I had too many questions haha). I left with so many goodies and a great experience that will bring me back again. I even signed up to their loyalty program (which I never do anywhere). 100/5 stars.

Negative experience: I recently bought a Xbox one S and I meant to buy the series S. I tried to exchange it up to a series S and they only allow exchange if it’s damaged. This is not an exchange policy it’s a broken item policy. There’s a Lack of proper communication from this business and it’s bad business.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend visited collectibles cards & games to pick out some Pokémon cards for my birthday. The staff was very helpful and they have a great selection—very pleased!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, I called in to come check if my wii guitar works, they said its ok,came waited in line for 1hr I asked how long ist going to be they said they serve according to who came first which is cool and appreciate it,then they tell me to wait another 45mins after they attend to customers that came in after me its really disappointing and disrespectful, if there was a zero star I would leave that

Fantastic experience: Customer service was wonderful. The shop had a variety of older games at a good price. They also have a Pokémon Card training event that happens on the weekends. It's a wonderful activity to engage the community.

Fantastic experience: My first time at the store to revisit getting back into collecting, 2 decades later now being an adult with kids of my own…The crew was very enthusiastic about all they had to offer. Bell was very informative on giving me a Pokemon refresher as our 7 y/o is gaining interest (we will be holding onto the rare ones for her). Gavin gave me a rundown of One Piece as the phones were ringing off the hook with people in search of the newest drop. Colin put the icing on the cake as he tossed a pack of One Piece “The Best” in front of me and another client, “let’s see who has the best card!” This was a one-of-a-kind experience and I will definitely be back! I was buying some various Japanese packs and the owner came up and wanted to let me open some Chinese packs until I pulled a style of holo he wanted me to see. Really made my day! Will certainly be coming back again and again. This is the best collectible shop I have ever been to!

Fantastic experience: Love this store! Great selection for my family gift exchange I was shopping for. Megan was the highlight of my shopping experience. I didn’t know what I was going to buy and know little to nothing about retro gaming consoles! Megan jumped right in to help me. She made a recommendation on console and games to buy. She tested them all for me even though I know they also test them when they get them. This made me feel great about my purchase. She is a gem and great at her job with customers. Her and the other person working were very busy but never once made anyone feel rushed! Will be back for more cool gifts when needed and will tell friends about this great place and excellent customer service!

Fantastic experience: Great business. Usually buy my yugioh card singles out of the binders, but I had to stop by for the Phantasmal flames pre-release. Owner was there letting everyone in line know that they are gonna get packs, awesome environment and sick store. Owner goes out of his way to make sure his customers get what they want, awesome crew. Fantastic experience: Amazing card shop! My favorite by far even though it’s a bit farther than me, this is the BEST card shop about selling at MSRP/Retail prices! Cannot recommend this shop enough!

Positive experience: This was a very fun store. Friendly service, plenty of space, tons of games, Pokémon plush toys, cards, & merch to choose from, and pretty reasonable prices. My own major issues, which is not mutually exclusive to them but applied to most video game stores I’ve been to, is that they keep selling retro cartridges that has dirt, scratches, faded labels, permanent marker writings, and/or labels being torn & ripped. And because this is a universal issue that I’ve seen from numerous stores in different states, it gets increasingly frustrating to find good quality copies of any games I’m looking for. Especially the most well known games. I would honestly recommend trying to get better quality trade in’s more often and be a bit more cautious about accepting trade in’s that are in poor quality condition. Even eBay tends to list games from a New to Acceptable ranking. But aside from that, this is an excellent store. If Lyft services could start lowering their prices more often and/or this area started incorporating some local bus services, then it would make it easier to visit more often. Also, they really need to get an HD TV to test out HD adapters since they didn’t do that last time when I tried to trade in an N64. They said it didn’t work with their other cords, which yeah not duh guys! That’s because you didn’t test the HD adapter which is the only way it works and it was right there on the counter. Some consoles don’t work with past cords especially on modern TV’s, so it’s honestly not the console’s fault for not working when you don’t have the proper equipment to test them on modern TV’s. So, they robbed me of selling an item due to limited equipment.

One thing...Their casual tcg nights (across several different tcgs) bring in a decently competitive crowd. Drafting is a blast here, but constructed is not so much. Probably great for those with more of a competitive streak than me, though!

Both were very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to! This place is definitely going to be a new home for us (They have starter events on Saturdays and League events on Tuesday for Pokemon)

Fantastic experience: The absolute best card shop in town. Friendly employees, great stock, and prices you can't beat. We come here at least once a week. I was able to score a couple of the Phantasmal Flames booster bundles and pulled a Mega Charizard X EX! Happy to support this local buisness and will continue to come here for a long time.

Fantastic experience: per who helps with the shop and even helped build me a resume! Through all of this, everyone continued helping me and showing so much kindness to me. I explicitly remember this one night however, a Thursday, there had been complications with my homecoming event and I ended up not going due to those issues and I was in a pretty down and emotional mood. Cole had saw my suit and asked me what it was for and I told him and he gave me a hug. That is what this store is, past all of the cards, all the games, everything. Because that same night I was invited out to hang out and talk things over and Cole had given me a free collector booster pack. This place is not just a store. It is an outlet for people like me who have had struggles and had challenges in life and want a fun outlet with a great community. Collectibles Cards and Games Carrollton is way more than just a store to me, it is a home with family I feel I've known forever, people I'll never forget, and events like no other. Thank you all who have been there during my journey here as it was a way for me to not only have fun but to combat addiction. To everyone here and everyone who goes here; thank you for making this place so special to me and others!

Negative experience: I attended the Pokemon TCG Phantasmal Flames pre-release event here expecting a casual, beginner-friendly environment, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite being a returning player who hasn’t played since childhood, I was paired against a staff member who used an overpowered deck (Mega Pokémon with 6 energy attached) right out of the gate, which made the match over in less than 10 minutes. While the staff member explained some basic card placements at the start, there was no meaningful guidance on how the game actually works, and I was left confused and frustrated. They then told the surrounding tables they’re starting up a Pokemon card game class in a week. After the match, the staff moved on to help other players, leaving me to cope with the overwhelming experience on my own. The event cost $35 & my boyfriend and I had already spent $400+ in-store that day, so this felt like a huge investment with virtually no payoff. Especially when staffed talked us into it saying it was casual and beginner friendly. I came expecting to have fun and relearn the game in a supportive environment, but instead I left feeling stressed, demotivated, and disappointed. If you’re a new or returning player looking for guidance or a casual experience, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I know I will be taking my time & dollars elsewhere. They completely squashed any desire I had to return to playing the game.

Fantastic experience: They hosted a Pokemon tournament for my son and his friends for a 12th birthday party. From planning to hosting, Colin and Col were incredible. Everyone had an amazing time. I've seriously never seen kids so thoroughly excited, energized, and engaged. It was an awesome experience.

Fantastic experience: This establishment and the individuals working here are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I wanted to surprise my husband by fixing up his N64 for his birthday and needed all new cables and a little help figuring out how to clean the system. Not only did they have the cables but they also provided a HDMI adapter and so graciously did a little deep clean on the actual system to get me started. For the life of me I can't remember her name but an employee with a sunflower bandana helped me so much and was so patient with me and my questions. This place also helped me acquire Conkers Bad Fur Day that isn't very easy to come by and quite literally made the whole present come together. My husband was BEYOND happy about the system being in a functional state again but the game he said was the best gift he's ever recieved and has been playing it for the last week. If I could give this review more stars I would in a heartbeat! Thank yall so much! <3

Positive experience: This is from a magic the gathering hobbyist perspective. The ataff was friendly and the store was attractive and clean. It is more of a pokemon place having only one case of magic and 4 boxes of unorganized bulk. Prices were very good.

Magic: the Gathering, Pokémon, vintage video games, manga, plushies, Pop figures, and sports cards. There’s more than that too. I want to return to dig through their massive inventory!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place with something for everyone. Cards, video games, controllers, plushies, consoles and more. As a new beginner of collecting cards, the employees and customers were great and very friendly and the vibe was totally chill. I was able to score a couple of the Mega Evolutions packs and got a great Ivysaur pull! Definitely going to be my local card shop from now on. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This is one of the friendliest places I've ever been to. The employees went out of the their way to ensure that we had a great time and made sure to make us feel welcome. Piper was an awesome help! He greeted us as we entered even though they were clearly busy with a tournament, everyone ensured to make us feel valued. Such an amazing staff, I will definitely return!

Fantastic experience: It's a cool place with a wide selection and friendly staff! My son is really into Pokémon and started his very first collection there. At first I was skeptical because back when I was a kid and hunted for old Spawn comic books with my dad, it was always "put your hands in your pockets and let me do the talking." Not here. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. I could ask my questions, I could look around but most importantly my son could experience something I never did as a kid... and that's the ability to be himself in an environment he enjoys. I've been to both locations and was treated the exact same way. I will gladly come back and I encourage you to give these places a try.

Fantastic experience: Came 1 hr 30 mins after opening and they still had plenty of stock for Mega Pokemon set release. The crew was very kind and helpful. Opened 4 packs and got 4 hits, Kimmy came over immediately to give me sleeves and top loaders! Super helpful, great vibe from whole crew!

Fantastic experience: Great store, friendly staff, very open and helpful to all. Would highly recommend if you are looking for trading card singles and games for older consoles. They also are looking to create a tournament scene which I would be very much for!

Negative experience: Do not do business with this place. 50% of value on cards over $30… this is theft do not sell your cards to them go elsewhere. These practices are what make the hobby unenjoyable for kids. You will sell me your product at mark, that’s nice but if you try to sell or trade you might as well not waste your time.

Fantastic experience: Ok this says a lot, I’m writing this review before ripping open my new packs. First I was trying to trade in 3 AGS graded Pokemon cards and I was turned away from 8 card shops and there’s no way I’m taking them to movie trading company. The guys at the store were amazing and listened to my story while they looked at my trade in. I was able to get these bad boys and gave me very fair credit. The guys were amazing and you have my business from now on.

They were so patient and accommodating with us having younger ones with us. Plus, they have the coolest Pokémon statue I have ever seen! Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic experience: I'm new to TCGs as a hobby and they helped me pick out everything I needed to get started. Everything I've bought here, I haven't been able to find anywhere else or for as reasonable of a price. In a time where it feels like every hobby is full of scalpers, it's nice to see there's at least one store that keeps items at or as close as possible to MSRP as they do here. I know whenever I need a new card or pack, Collectibles, Cards and Games will be the first store I check.

Fantastic experience: This has become my go to card shop now! They have a great selection and the pricing is very fair. They truly care about their customers and don’t just view you as a sale. Gavin was really helpful with helping me get started with organizing my collection. He also was very knowledgeable and had answers to all of my questions regarding other games.

Fantastic experience: I went in just to browse and maybe get a few childhood games. I recently started getting into retro game collecting and was curious if they had the NES Classics Metroid for Gameboy advance, that's when I met Adam. Adam was so helpful and knowledgeable about navigating playing the Metroid series. You can tell he has a great passion for his job and delivered amazing customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with Adam and my visit. I purchased a copy of Pokemon platinum, Fallout 3, and Halo Reach. These guys deserve your business!

Fantastic experience: I was there this past Thursday before my friend’s magic night tournament so I can pick up some cards to help out my deck and was very impressed with the knowledge and guidance that I was getting from Austin. Fantastic experience: Okay! let me say this review is long over due Well this started when I was cleaning up and found a old PSP unit, so I went to GameStop to only be treated like I brought in a first edition Nintendo they clearly didn’t want to help me, but they were kind of enough to tell me about these guys and gal ;) When you walk in the atmosphere is so chill and welcoming .The first person I met was Jason right off the bat he was super helpful, trying to see if the PSP actually still worked by allowing me to use one of their chargers. he then passed me on to Megan. Who was like a gaming guru. she knew everything about everything and was so nice patient she even helped me update my the PSP before I left also assisting me on finding some games for my kids to play on it. Now let me not forget Austin he was holding things down in the store while Megan was helping me. True teamwork so glad I found this little gem.can’t wait to go back!
