Fantastic experience: Mike R. has been great. He’s been phenomenal. I’ve been coming to this place for almost 6 years. Highly recommended.
Negative experience: If you want a reminder of why physical retail is struggling, look no further. It took two days of calling just to get someone to pick up the phone for a simple question about the current PS5 trade-in promo. I was ready to walk in and sign up for a Pro Membership specifically to take advantage of the $420.69 ps5 trade-in offer, but the employee essentially pushed me away. Not only was he confused about the requirements/promo as a whole, but he literally told me "not to worry about it" and suggested I shouldn't bother with the trade-in at all as the ps5 just went up in price. When a store employee works this hard to convince a customer NOT to come in, you should probably listen to them.
Negative experience: I came in because they had the switch 2 in stock online, and they did have it! I was happy and bought it, but the customer Service is terrible. He kept asking me if I wanted to buy anything extra, I politely declined, I don't need any accessories or physical copies of a game right now. I also like to buy them on Nintendo store. He says to my face "Okay then I don't know what your gonna play then". I understand wanting to upsell products as it looks better on the associate and company, but the comment and overall rude interaction was just unnecessary. I couldn't wait to get my switch and get out... He also didnt offer to put my switch 2 in a bag, he just put the box down on the counter and walked away.
Negative experience: The staff is always so unenthusiastic, always give me attitude, and never make me feel welcomed, up until it comes to upselling a membership, warranty, etc. lol
Negative experience: Placed an order at 10am for pickup for one game. Came in at 4pm and they ask me if I revived the email saying my order was ready. Told them no, but i had been 6 hours. The said to me “it’s not ready then” with serious attitude. 6 hours to fulfill a 1 item order is insane. The game didn’t even end up being in stock. Waste of my time and the workers need to learn how to do their jobs. I worked at a retailer for 4 years doing BOPIS. We had to complete all orders in under 2 hours. There’s literally no excuse.
Negative experience: Placed an order for pickup, went to pick it up and was told that the game was not in stock and the order was cancelled, but I never got a cancellation email or message.

Fantastic experience: Came in to see about trading in my VR headset. Mike went above and beyond with customer service and making sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Kept me under the amount I wanted to spend on the upgrade to PSVR2 and taught me things I wasn’t aware of ! Will be going back to mike every time

Negative experience: The stuff are extremely slow and they do not care about anyone’s time. There is usually just one person slowly doing her/his job as if we have infinite time in the world. As someone who worked at GameStop for over 4 years, this is very sad to see. I used to run 2 transactions at the same time to get people in/out quick.
Negative experience: Used to love GameStop. But this is insane, they are selling trading cards higher than even scalpers are selling it for. Whoever is in charge of pricing is the reason I will never shop at any GameStop again

Even with the huge crowds and constant rush, Mike stayed calm, organized, and incredibly attentive. He was not only helping customers on the floor but also coordinating staffing across multiple stores, making sure every area ran smoothly. You could see his leadership in every part of the store. No matter how busy he was, he still took the time to answer questions, offer help, and make each customer feel taken care of. His professionalism and positive attitude made a noticeable difference during one of the busiest shopping days of the year. It’s rare to see someone handle that level of pressure with such grace, dedication, and genuine customer care. Mike truly sets the bar for what great service looks like. Thank you, Mike, for making a chaotic day feel smooth and well-managed. Your hard work did not go unnoticed.
Negative experience: Pokemon restock purchase limit per customer is too high. Waited an hour for no reason while people before me got 2 ETBs, bundles, and tons of packs... On top of all that prices went up over MSRP so GameStop is basically operating like a scarier scalper!

Negative experience: Kinda sad that they refused to sell a console that was behind the glass. Asked about a Xbox one for my son, the gentleman that was helping us was hesitant to open the box to see what color the controller was. The other guy decided to check it for us and saw it was the standard white controller. The one in the glass had gold buttons and looked cooler. My son wanted the gold button variant and they refused to sell the console. Little unsettling to tell a 5 year old boy you can’t have a particular item that is on display due to the staff not wanting to go thru the extra steps to package up the console. I wonder why gamestops are closing down. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fantastic experience: This GameStop did an awesome job with the switch 2 launch, communication to customers, pre-orders, line for those who didn't pre-order and the whole event. It looks like they have a great stock of video and some cars/board game items as well including mtg, Pokemon, etc.. will definitely be back.
Negative experience: Would give this place negative stars if possible. I took my son there today. He bought a Roblox card which we took home only to find the code unreadable. Went back to the store about 15 mins after we left, they agreed it was unreadable but refused to do anything about it. Terrible customer service from Erica who apparently called her manager Mike who also refused to do anything. I'll try and avoid GameStop in the future and definitely this one.

They have a guy & short girl back there working they are THE WORSE employees I’ve ever dealt with. Both have 0 common sense. Come in at 8:58 to buy a ps5 after I just spoke on the phone with them. Get there and the guy watches me from window @8:58 a turn open signed to close after i literally just called. I will keep Complaining until something is done with these two. Negative experience: Sold us a “used product” we replaced it twice because they claimed it was working the ps4 does not work , it turns on and off, and the controller never connects. DO NOT BUY USED PRODUCTS at this location.

Negative experience: I've been shopping at gamestop for literal decades. Never before have I been told "no" when asking to visually verify that I was purchasing the correct item. Until today. Stock can be wrong. Things get misplaced. I'm not asking you to hand it to me. Just hold it up so I can do a quick verification, especially when there are multiple variants of the item. Or at the very least, go look yourself. You have to pay first. For safety reasons. Trust me, it's back there. I shop in person so I know what I'm buying. Guess they want me to shop online same outcome, less gas.

I went ahead and grabbed some brand new games and went to check out and the store clerk Erika told me that they had those same games for sale as “pre-owned” for cheaper. She went out of her way to save me some money and I really appreciated the customer service she provided. Thank you
Fantastic experience: Mike is awesome and helped me out tremendously. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and really showed he cared. I had many questions for him and he took his time to help me out. I really enjoy going to this store because of all of the options available and the kind staff. I had several trade-ins and Mike went out of his way to assist. I will definitely continue to go back to this store and highly recommend it.

Negative experience: I felt sorry for the cashier. He appeared to be only one working in store and a couple was through with their transaction but continued chit chatting while customers lined up to pay. It is not bad customer service to ask them to step aside, let them get customers checked out and then they could continue the conversation. Staff needs better training and really there should be more than one person in store to assist.
Negative experience: Completely ignored by the cashier. leaned against the counter facing the lobby on her phone my entire visit, even when I went up to her she wouldn’t break away from her phone. So tired of supporting a company that consistently treats me like garbage.

Positive experience: Gamestop sells games, video games, kinda pricey in my opinion but sometimes they have sales, another down is the membership plan, I mean it's good/bad, my last month I decided not renew my membership but apparently you can't use the last month coupon, unless you renew the membership, that's a bummer, but you can save 5 dollars monthly, it's up to you.

Negative experience: Does this place ever answer their phone? I’ve been calling for 3 day’s because of a preorder that should have been there 5 day’s ago.
Negative experience: I had ordered a Nintendo GameCube adapter online on May 7 hoping it would be a 1st Party Adapter (as this listing was the Nintendo-branded Wii U one). On May 11, I ended up getting a 3rd Party knockoff adapter rather than the one that was listed. Even worse, I went to this store to return it, and they did not give me a full refund that included shipping, which is just great, as I lost $5, despite the inconvenience that GAMESTOP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR. Just another example of the GameStop scamming scheme right in front of my eyes. I would definitely steer clear of buying ANY GameStop product online, as it's a gamble for what you'd be getting, thanks to GameStop's poor, anti-consumer business practices. I feel sincerely bad for those who bought this but did not know or care to notice that they had been SCAMMED through and through. Utter shame for a corporation of this size to fail their customers time and time again.

Negative experience: Do yourself a big favor and order your stuff online, pay for it, and just pick it up. The store is a nightmare. It is small, crowded, SLOWWWW! The only redeeming fact is that I got my kids some cheap (used) xbox 360 games. But I'm never going shopping there again. But the selection for their age group (6-8 yrs old) was pretty poor. We managed to get 4, but that pretty much exhausted their supply.
Positive experience: Walked in for a gift card for my nephews and walked out with a really cool deadpool beanie! Staff could have been more efficient and less self absorbed. But that doesn't stop you from looking at their wonderful selection of video games.

I also firmly believe that GameStop employees in general take better care of gaming equipment when handling it because they really have a passion for games. I will always shop with GameStop for my needs especially this one.
Positive experience: My son loves GameStop. He likes that it's a small shop just for him. They have some good deals on their used games, regular sales and clearances. We also like their warranty program. All of the locations are pretty much the same. Customer service is usually average. Items are pretty well organized on the shelves. If they don't have something in stock, they can check the other stores and let you know where it is... I don't remember if they pricematch though with other places? I don't believe so.
