Negative experience: Got sold and a defective PS5 and the lady tonight wouldn't let me do an exchange or return because she was scared she'd mess it up I shouldn't have been sold a messed up console like I'll be back tomorrow to fix it hopefully.

Fantastic experience: Went here for a trade in. Brandon was amazing I was there for a little while trying to get the Xbox to cooperate. Seen him with multiple customers he was great with each one! I even got to see him deal with difficult customers and he handled it great! This is definitely the GameStop to go to!

Negative experience: Return policy is a scam. Bought a headset 3 weeks ago just for it to break and not be able to return it because it’s been 15 days. I shouldn’t have to pay a membership to have rights to return or replace an item that was defective. You had to have a pro member ship to return items up to 30 days. This is BS!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Gamestop on 7th Street in Lubbock on a Sunday to exchange my nephew's Nintendo Lite since it had stopped working. I was greeted by Francisco who did everything he could to make my exchange quick and painless as I had proof I had purchased the warranty. He went above and beyond and I was able to get my nephew's new Nintendo Lite easily. I have always purchased my kids' electronic games, game devices, etc. from GameStop and I will continue to do so. Thank you Francisco for going above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: I had gone to the location on Frankford Ave and there was a note stating they would be back at 5. I was'nt going to wait in the truck for an hour so I went to the other side if town, since they were the only other location with what I was looking for in stock. They were nice and got me out quick and proper. Was happy with that location.

Negative experience: Chance continues to push the rewards program on me despite me showing no interest in renewing. The last thing I should feel leaving a store I just spent $60 at is guilty. I tried to give him some nudges that if his customer service didn't improve he'd lose my business, but he didn't take the hint. He was rude, persistent, and treated me like I was a nuisance when all I was trying to do was buy a game.. I won't be returning to this Gamestop and suggest you just get what you need at Walmart across the street. New games are $10 cheaper at release, there's no reason not to!

Negative experience: Horrible experience! I wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone! I went in on the 22nd and purchased 2 switches, which came with a $25 gift card. The young cashier by the name of Kaitlin or Kathleen was extremely rude and so irritated with us. She was rolling her eyes and literally saying she did not care the entire time as she was getting confused with my transaction. I was charged for 2 gift cards of $25 and received the wrong color for 1 switch. I immediately called back about 10 times with no answer. I called back today and I spoke with the assistant manager earlier whom was very nice and apologetic and said I didn’t need a receipt to get my money back,but when I called later on to ask if my son could pick up my refund as I am tied up and spoke with Chance, he said I DID need my receipt! I have my receipt with me and not with my son! I know it’s the holidays but I was as a loyal customer whom just spent over $800 am being treated so poorly! I’m not asking for free money or even to exchange the switch, just wanting what is owed to me!!
