Positive experience: This game stop has made a weird choice. It has shoved most everything not card related into the back corner. It now has tables where merchandise should be. It literally looks like it’s going out of business. It’s so uninviting from the outside you just walk by not giving it a second thought. Used to buy collectibles here. I just order them off Amazon or elsewhere. It’s ridiculously hard to shop with everything shoved in a corner.

Negative experience: Service was pretty bad with employees that were incredibly rude. I asked them about a recommendation for a game for my girlfriend with a certain criteria. They suggested something that's exactly the opposite of what we asked for just to be mean. I absolutely do not recommend going to the store

Negative experience: Went in, asked about the price of some headphones and rather than tell me the price the person said “we don’t have any” then I asked if I could go to the other side of a glass case and got a “…yea…” in a rude and unnecessary manner. That’s just terrible customer service, she didn’t seem like she wanted to help me or even be there. I get it, it’s your job to be there, but I wasn’t asking the world of you.

Fantastic experience: Alex at GameStop was amazing! He was funny, super knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. Fantastic experience: Haven't been in a GameStop for some time, but I'll tell you Alex at the GameStop in the Fairfield Mall was very knowledgeable, courteous, accommodating and hilarious. So much so I tried to tip him 20 bucks but he informed me they weren't allowed to take tips, but he would have earned that along with all of my future business! I'll definitely be coming back to get help from him again.

Fantastic experience: I had the fortunate experience of coming by this location today. I was met by Tyler who was friendly and helpful. I went to pickup a specific game that the app said had 1 in stock. Tyler looked everywhere for it, checking to see even if it was misplaced, and couldn't find it. I mentioned a separate transaction I had with another employee the same week, because in the previous transaction I had grabbed the game to buy it and decided to put it off ultimately. Tyler went so far for me as to lookup the transaction for me and contact the other team member to see if the other member had placed the game aside for me. While in the end, the game was not found, I was very impressed with his customer service and very appreciative of it. Tyler even printed off a listing of other gamestops in the area that had the game. He is an awesome employee and I am so thankful for his help that day. With employees like Tyler, I will continue to shop at this Gamestop for as long as I am in the area!

Fantastic experience: Came in to possibly look into a newer Xbox, and was not disappointed. Was helped out by Reece and he was very kind, polite and patient. Answered all of our questions and if I ever needed to go back I’m hoping he’s there to be the GOAT. Reece will definitely be a reason I’m coming back to GameStop again

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough to praise this store or their employees as highly as they deserve. I brought in THREE old systems and like 20 games to trade in, some of the systems being very old and requiring knowledge of the system’s workings and how to navigate the complex trade in system to make this large transaction work. It required at least 2 hours of attention while also handling a large rush at the store at the same time. All 5 employees were knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and worked together seamlessly to handle it all. They made sure to get me maximum trade in value, and were enthusiastic and so much fun to be with even though they were working hard. As a long time gamer and customer of the store, I was really impressed because it is not uncommon to have a good employee experience, but what isn’t usual is having ALL FIVE members of the team work together so well and be equally amazing. Devin, Fable, Corbin, Reese, and the manager Alex were all rockstars. I hope there is some way corporate can reward these amazing humans and the Fairfield Commons store. I am a GameStop Customer for life.

Negative experience: really weird interaction with the cashier. was going to buy two $25 robux gift cards for my siblings for christmas. as i get to the cashier he tells me a weird story about how he can't sell me the gift cards because a grandma called about someone being held hostage and the only way she can figure out the situation was buying all the gift cards. i could tell he was making up a bs story on the go. it was awkward and i ended up leaving with no gift cards since the cashier didn't stop me telling me he was joking and i could buy the cards. really unprofessional and he could've easily made a $50 sale but decided to joke around instead. had to go to FYE to buy the gift cards.

Negative experience: I won’t give the store a 1 star review for the reason of the employee but will still give it 2. I was in the mall and got the phone call Trump was shot, and then went into Game Stop looking around and hear another customer share the new to the employee. The employee with no discretion asks what the big deal is and compares it to a soccer player being shot. He was also condescending to the guy trying to share the news. Yes, we have freedom of speech but we have the obligation to use it with wisdom, respect, and professional. I don’t hold this against the store but do request it take action in training it’s employees in how the speak.

Negative experience: usually have a decent experience here but came in with a friend today and the employee behind the counter with glasses exclaimed about how shocked he was that there were "females" in the store. definitely not helping the stereotype out and as a woman it makes me uncomfortable to shop here. i can understand that this is some people's way of joking but it's not appropriate at work. comments like this do not make customers feel welcome.

Fantastic experience: Our experience here was amazing! Mr. Alex was at the register and he knew his stuff. He was training a new employee who was assisting us in trade ins and a new purchase. Mr. Alex was so kind and quick and efficient even though the store was in rush hour very busy with customers. 10/10 recommend.

Negative experience: Inattentive, uninterested staff and mislabeled signs for nonexistent sales means a poorly run location that you should not bother visiting. If you're looking for a sale on games, you're better off trying Best Buy or even the online console stores. This location deserves to be shut down sooner than later. Just remember, they "do recommend you buy the protection on the video game disc" because...well, there it is.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience trying to return a chair I purchased here. When I bought it they told me I could return it and when I tired I was met with tons and tons of excuses by the manager saying he can’t return it. It wasn’t until I called and filed a escalation case with the call center did they even care. After about a week of him trying to wait out my return policy I got it returned. I had to call as many stores as I could and they all told me I could Return it

Positive experience: I would not recommend selling games here. I sold eight working xbox 1 games here and only got $17. I was really disopointed because those games are worth more than that. It would have been better to sell them online then sell there. Besides that the person at the counter was nice and I have no more complaints then that.

Positive experience: There are never enough workers line always takes forever even if its 3 people. They are so busy pushing pramotions and trying to get you to sign up for stuff they loose money by taking sooo long. Theres been multiple times ive not gotten anything here because of those things. Point is less pusing of the pramotions because its annoying and get more workers or train the 1 working to be faster because its insane to wait 20+ mins with 2 people in front of you with 1 or 2 items each i mean come on gamestop get it together.

Fantastic experience: The new team here is great. The last time I was in, the assistant manager, Chris, was wonderful to deal with. I think he’s much more friendly and personable than a lot of the staff I’ve seen come through this store over the years. I hope the company appreciates him and treats him well. My experiences there in the last couple of months have been much better than before. I’ve also found the store to be much less disheveled, which I’m sure is difficult to keep up on with it being at the mall.

Negative experience: this gamestop used to be good, but the attitude of the staff has turned my family off of this store specifically. also, they haven’t notified us about preorders 3 separate times. when we tried to get it figured out, the manager told us we were lying and that we were notified. just drive the extra few minutes to the huber location because the store is bigger and the staff doesn’t try to argue with you.

Negative experience: Customer service is trash, I understand that some of the employees may be socially awkward but I mean you work in customer service. It is literally your job to handle the customer and start a light conversation with them when handling them at the counter, not stand there with 2 other employees and stare at me like I am the worst person in the world because you had to stop your conversation. Negative experience: I ordered a controller to be shipped to my home because they had none in stock at the store itself and was told I could expect it in 4-6 days only to later find out it was going to be 14+ days. I called the store (Fairfield mall beaver creek Ohio location) and the manager was very unsympathetic about the issue and basically told me not only could nothing be done about the issue itself but that in no way could I be given anything as restitution as well. I absolutely would not give this location your business. They do not care about the customer.

Fantastic experience: As far as GameStops go, the one inside the Mall at Fairfield Coomons is a good one. It's bigger than the average store, and I find the way they have it laid out makes it much easier to see everything they have. Which makes it easier to find what you're looking for, too. I'm not sure if the prices are much more expensive than the average store- it seemed close to non-mall prices.

Positive experience: Staff is typical of GameStop; ie friendly geeks that'll talk shop about Star Wars, anime, funko, etc. Store is usually not busy, but always looks "run through"|disheveled. One of the larger GameStop's, you can usually find what you need, however no GameStop rivals the Dayton Mall store.

Kavan answered the phone and listened and understood what I was looking for, and checked store stock to make sure he had it. Positive experience: Came to buy the boyfriend a new PS4 controller and called beforehand and the guy was SUPER SUPER helpful. Esp since I dont have a clue about PS4 or any game system PERIOD. I was able to get in there grab what I wanted and they offer 1yr warranties on used and brand new controllers, which was surprising to me.

Positive experience: Still waiting for the "mom bench". I spend SO MUCH $$$ here, they should have a bench for mothers to sit and wait for their kids to stop drooling... Just sayin'! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
