Fantastic experience: Amazing store with an insane amount of inventory spanning multiple categories. They have the best selection of video game items I have ever seen under one roof. Mind blowing quantities of most $50 and under titles and a lot of rare and high end games. The owner could easily open 8-10 stores with the amount of inventory he has. I traveled from 14 hours away and could absolutely see myself making that trip on a regular basis. The store owner is a really great guy who treats his customers and employees with tremendous respect and kindness. He is a very generous guy who truly loves what he does. You won’t find a better game store anywhere. The prices are very reasonable and are usually a bit below what you’d find on online marketplaces which is rare for stores like this. I have been to hundreds of video game stores in my life and this one is my favorite. I could shop here every day for 6 months and still find items I didn’t see during previous visits.

Negative experience: Three of my games didn't work I threw my receipts away after I left it was my second time visiting so I'm stuck with games that dont work my first experience was cool this time was terrible I want go back they have a nice selection of games but you taking a chance ...

Negative experience: I would rate this a -10 Star Review if I could. Mike you can reply back anyway you like I don't care.... Yes MIKE is the name of the owner of this establishment. I don't want to go into detail on the reasons for my Negative review as Mike the owner will only deny anything I say and he switch everything say around on me and make me the agresser and tell you I am lying about him and his store so there is no point in giving him the satisfaction of denying what I would say. Draw your own conclusions of this store if you so decide but be warned... After what I experienced..... I would rather shop at the swamp meat then deal with him. I HIGHLY advise shopping elsewhere there is Huber Music and video right across the street and Vac's and videos about half a mile up the road. Please invest there. Least you will eventually have to experience what I had to. Vac's and Videos is MUCH MUCH better than Clarkcade. .... Don't to take my word for it... See for yourself.... And they offer your money back if you paid cash you get cash back.... Clarkcade..... Only store credit FORCING you to spend that money back with them.... If offering money back puts you out of business... Then why is Vac's and Videos still doing GREAT business??? Not offering the return of a customers original form of payment all in the name of hurting the business is "Rubbish" it's all to force you to shop there. It's shows you only care about your profits and not so much customer satisfaction or care. See for yourselves .... Truth ALWAYS comes to the light. I will support Huber Music and Video and Vac's and Videos they are my New and only GO-TO. from here on. Again draw your own conclusions and choose your own place to shop and spend your hard earned money. But at least give those other places some thought before making a final decision. You may not experience what I did. I sincerely hope you won't. But again draw your own conclusions.

Fantastic experience: THE BEST gaming store on this side of Ohio ! Looking for Retro game stuff? Old school stuff that you can't find anywhere ?? Ps1, ps2, Every system you can think of, GAMES, ACCESSORIES, ETC . ?? GO TO THIS PLACE ! THEY HAVE ALL THE STUFF ! RARE ITEMS ! THIS IS THE PLACE !! 5 STARS ! Negative experience: Any owner of a company that puts money over serving a customer just because he is not spending his stimlius check on his business would rather help those who are buying first ...then come back to you after dealing with those big spenders... What I wanted would have only taken a few minutes and yet I was told "Im busy trying to fix My PS4's......." My wife's car was in a Accident".... Just one excuse after another to brush off my few dollar spending self..... UPDATE!!! 1-21-26. Mike First off I never had any personal issues with you as a person. You can ban me all you wish. It will not change what I experienced at your store no matter what you wish to add to what really happened. I never reported you or your company to The BBB nor have you ever given me multiple chances... Multiple chances for what I might ask?? I only ever had one issue with you and that was several years ago before the pandemic when I purchased a power cord adapter that was supposed to work for a Game Boy advance in truth it ended up frying my game boy advance but of course you denied that ever happening which of course I expected you to a modded game boy advance it is pretty expensive so I expected you to deny any wrongdoings and I never ever asked you to repair it or fix it prior to that happening. Again you're making everything look bad on my part but it doesn't matter what you want to add it's really what happened you can add whatever you want you can juice it any way you like it, it will not change who you are no matter what like I said banning me for life will not and cannot change what my real experience was you can stop me from ever setting foot in your business but you can't change what I really experienced of which of course you will lie and make other things up to make you look good and me look bad that's typical of you but don't worry Mike I will never set foot in your business as long as I live you will never get my business again and I have the right to tell anyone I like about your business and I have many friends and family that do or did shop at your business I will definitely have conversations with them and let them know what kind of business to expect most of them already know because they had experienced similar things that I have. Mike say and do what you like I don't care nothing you say or do to me will change my real experience a real true business owner will not make up lies or excuses they will do everything in their power to make it right with the customer not lie and make up things that does not exist or never happened to make themselves look better from a bad review so people let it be known if you speak your mind about your true experience at Clarkcade in Huber Heights he won't like it and he will ban you. And that's how he deals with customers that have issues with their experience Mike you can ban me all you want but you can't shut my mouth I will let people know it's my right unless you want a lawsuit violating my rights of free speech please look that up please look up what free speech is because you're banning because you don't like what I said which in America Mike is free speech but you have a right to ban anyone you like inside your business because that's your right but it's also my right and freedom of speech so I can say whatever I want about anyone I want especially if it's the truth and believe me Mike everything I mentioned was a true experience at your business I don't care what you reply back and say you are nothing but a liar and a manipulator Mike I ban myself from ever setting foot in your business again I will shop inside of a sewer drain first. Vac and Videos will now get all of my business from me and Huber Music and Video. You are not the only game store in town. Vac And Videos are WAY much better I hope they take all your business from you. I will definitely put the word out to spend your money at a more respectful and honest business like Vac and Videos. And others as well. Karma it's a pain isn't it? I hope your business crumbles.. I wonder what the health department would have to say??

Fantastic experience: What an amazing store and arcade! I can’t visit without supervision (I’ll spend every dollar I have). The staff and owner are wonderful and have always been welcoming. We bring my daughter in to run around and play the arcade games. Sometimes 3-4 nights a week! I have bought more than several games and they all have been great! I really appreciate this store and hope it continues to grow! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I was a little short on cash for my son's birthday gift and they covered me. The person working was really nice and said he understood because he has a family of his own. It's hard to find a business who has a heart anymore. I go here for everything gaming now.

Negative experience: They scalped pokemon cards in the area to resell for DOUBLE the price two days before Christmas, extorting parents who couldn't find cards for their kids and posting the listing on local pages. What a scummy business and scummy thing to do against local parents and kids. I hope that extra $100 you made really was worth your reputation. EDIT: I’m going to add they changed their price to 2/$11.99 after being blasted all over their post on Facebook, while still selling the 3 pack blister for $29.99. They got caught trying to extort parents right before Christmas and changed their add to safe face. Do not fall for this, this shows their true business mentality and really think consumers won’t see through this trick. Also trying to give me a free pack as a “thank you” is lowkey sketchy and I will never go to this store.

Fantastic experience: The arcade is good -ish and deals on used game items are hit/miss. Sometimes Vacs and Videos (very close by) is cheaper by like $15 for games but it goes the other way too. We always price check both places. The arcade portion almost always has games turned off or needing repair. For example, the huge screened Sonic/Mario Olympics game the runner joysticks are broken/ intense drifty and have been for years now. They recently raised the prices to $20 for daily unlimited play which is way more than I can spend for what we get. I’m bummed about it because $7-10 was doable as in previous years. They anyways end up still wanting to play the paid-only games like Minecraft and Temple Run (not included in the deal) anyways, so for the price, it’s no longer worthwhile. Not trying bash because we love local businesses including this one but wanted to give feedback from us- who actually are returning customers for years with our many kiddos.

Fantastic experience: Great arcade and pinball selection and a fun vintage game store. You pay for unlimited arcade and pinball by the hour. Highly recommend visiting.

Fantastic experience: I'm a simple man. I go in, play pinball and get a bluray to add to my collection on the way out. This is one of the last bastions of arcades and its worth your time to show support. One hour of unlimited gaming for 7 bucks is hard to beat.

Fantastic experience: I have bought a gba sp, Wario World 2, a switch, and Pokemon Sapphire from this store. The employees are super chill and very helpful. Always worth checking out as there is a big selection.

Fantastic experience: What a gem of a store all the classic games from your childhood just rolled into beautiful bliss. Nice respectful staff and unlike GameStop they won't rip you off for your used games in store credit is always better plus you can get a game card for all-day arcade play highly recommend coming here.

Fantastic experience: Staff was super friendly and helped us out a lot. Came in to buy some DS games and a charger. Recently found my old DS and was not sure if it still worked. Employee asked if we wanted her to make sure it worked before we bought everything. Thank goodness she did! She was able to tell us it still worked, just needed a new battery, which they had! She also let us know beforehand it would be a couple minutes to test it out and wanted to make sure we were ok waiting. Glad we stopped in and will for sure be back. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Holy WOW. Had no clue this place even existed! HUGE selection of games and accessories, arcades, etc. Just go, you seriously will not believe it. Amazing!

Negative experience: Brought in a ps3 guitar hero with the dongle they told us it was only worth $17. Dongles themselves are going for $90. We had visited another store and they told us it was worth $150 but they couldn't take it because they already had a lot of off brands. Clarkade is very unorganized and ran by literal grown children. (Waited an hour just to hear it was worth $17)

Negative experience: Nice people, but really rough hardware. And 4 out of 8 games I bought are duds. They act weird when you ask to try the games before you leave saying “we try every game, you shouldn’t have to worry” then you get home after a 40 minute drive there and home and half the games don’t work and discs are in pretty rough shape. Couple hundred bucks I wish I had saved.

Negative experience: Great place for an arcade. I bought a Sega, Genesis and three games. I have yet to get the Sega Genesis to work. I've tried two different TVs and all three games I've bought. I'm unsure if they test their consoles or not. The console is dirty which I get, it's used, however, they couldn't just took a rag and maybe a simple cleaner to it. Seeing the condition of the outside console, I should have assumed that they didn't test it. It looks like they literally just pulled it out of the trash and sold it to me. I understand mistakes happen. But I don't know if this is the mistake or just pure neglect. I will not be going back here to buy video games.

Fantastic experience: Place was a great little find had a lot of really cool old machines that I haven’t seen anywhere else, had lots of games for sell and a good little bit of old merch, had fun here for an hour with my husband and would come back They have a few drinks available and prize games They have time cards or cards you can put credits on instead, for one hour it’s 7$ which is great Had amiibos and lots of sky landers etc as well Only issue was that we couldn’t get dragons lair to work and a couple things were done but most were up and in great condition Employees were also really friendly and nice!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but a great experince with this store. I purchased a used console. Sadly it had a bad drive, but they handle it for me without a problem. They actually care about their customers, and unlike gamestop, dont try and pressure you into sales. And the arcade games are a blast too. Fun place for a date! Thank you to each of the staff thats helped me with the console. I will be a repeat customer :)

Fantastic experience: Clarkade is the BEST video game/arcade in the Dayton area! I have been a loyal customer for YEARS and spent thousands with them! Whatever I’m looking for is typically there and decently priced. They knock GameStop out of the water and have many options to choose from on any game system you could think of. They even have DVD’s and obsolete things you don’t find in today’s stores. The staff happens to be wonderful, very welcoming and more than helpful with any problems I’ve had with my games/accessories. I have taken my guitar hero guitars in to get fixed and the turnaround was almost like it never left me to begin with and I haven’t had a problem with it since! They have cleaned and maintenanced my systems and they clean and fix games I’d never think I’d be able to play again.. I’m in this place almost once a week, and they will continue to have my business!! 100/10 the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place for classic games and pinball to play - $7 for an hour unlimited! Good refurbished game systems we purchased were great as well. Friendly staff.

Positive experience: I had an issue with a used PS3 controller. Had intermittent charging issues due to corrosion on the charge port.. had gone in prior to getting the controller fixed and cleaned out completely. The controller did have dead bugs inside it. But that's not a result of the store.. however the store did offer me a store credit to help ease the situation.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 starts I absolutely would. I took in over 200 movies along with a ps3 and games. The ps3 controller was malfunction but other than that it was in good shape for repair. They had the nerve to offer me less than $40 for all of my items. Being movies at .5 cents a movie and offers me $14 for a console. I'll never be back to this store. They try an rip ypu off so bad.... I'm going to make sure I tell everyone I know the experience I had in hopes they won't shop at this place.

Negative experience: This would be a one star review except that I do think the arcade and pinball machines are mostly great, so that partly saves it. First of all, having whole cases worth of games, especially Sega games, unpriced and having to ask for a price on each one is scuzzy. It's extra sleazy because it comes down to the boss seeing what each game is going for on ebay at the time you visit. If the boss isn't around, often the employee has to text them and wait for a response, wasting more of your time. Look y'all, you bought these games from someone, you know how much you invested in them and should have an idea straight away what you figure to get out of them. And why am I spending time and gas money to come to your store just to pay ebay prices? Bought a Sega CD there previously, it has a malfunctioning RAM chip. I had no way of knowing this until I played a game that used a save function, and by this point this was past the store warranty. I don't want to be charged to attempt to repair something that wasn't tested like it should have been, so I'll take it elsewhere to try to restore it. Also previously bought a game that had been trashed, they resurfaced it but it had deep pitting, I was stupid enough to buy it anyway and I got charged the going ebay price for a game that only worked up to a point. I should have returned it but ended up deciding that the ethical thing to do was resell it as a partially functional game for parts or display, taking a loss but at least being honest. Also they wanted to charge me 150 bucks for a VMU that they didn't even know they had in stock until I asked about it. They had to have paid pennies on the dollar for it, and then an employee laughed about that story on my next visit as if I should think it's funny too. The store also needs cleaned. Touching any given game case shouldn't make you feel like you need to wash your hands immediately. The arcade is worth supporting but I don't want to ever buy systems or games from them in the future.

Fantastic experience: I’ve bought hundreds of games from here and have only had one issue with a bad disc one time and It was quickly rectified. I was able to sell my complete Smash Bros, CIB Monster Hunter and CIB Splatoon amiibo collection here when I was tired of looking at them. This is the only place I’ve found near Dayton with such a huge massive library of retro games, retro consoles, MTG and Pokémon cards for sale for competitive prices. The Clarkade also has dozens and dozens of retro arcade machines to play. It’s the only place to take your kids to experience pinball and arcades like back in the day

Fantastic experience: Clarkade is among my favorite video game stores in Ohio. It’s about a 30 minute drive and I still make it a few times a week just to come in, browse, make a trade, and play Crazy Taxi. The employees can get caught up in business, but this is to be expected, especially since they are quite popular and resurface all games, which can delay checkout times. I usually come in pretty late due to my poor sleep schedule and the employees are always pleasant despite this, which I appreciate. The selection is quite good. Prices are generally around pricecharting +- a few dollars, once again fair given the benefit of being able to go in store, receive the game immediately, look at the condition and inspect it. Staff has never been inflammatory toward me and typically are smiling and laughing with each other. One of the stores integral to my hobby in retro gaming.

Fantastic experience: What a great place! We didn't know what to expect and ended up having a wonderful time playing all kinds of arcade games for a very reasonable $7 for an hour unlimited. Everything from 1982 Paperboy, Centipede, Pacman, lots of pinball, racing games, TNMT, fighting games, Dance Dance, you name it they probably have it! Great way to spend an hour or two! We'll be back!

Fantastic experience: Honest and fair! All of the employees are respectful and are great people to talk to. Very knowledgeable. They search prices before making an offer on things your selling, and always come at you with a fair offer. Also They have alot of great deals not only on gaming consoles and accessories but cards and other similar items. Great place highly recommend even if your not looking to buy just check it out play in the arcade for a bit!

Fantastic experience: The Clarkade is by far the best place to take your kids. It's packed with arcade games and just about any video game you could think of. At $7 for an hour per person in the arcade you can't beat that price! As for at home gaming they have just about everything from Atari, Nintendo, and other older systems all the way through PS5 and Xbox One or Series. It's the place to go! They also buy and repair systems and games of all kinds. I took my PS2 to get fixed and they were super helpful in repairing it and getting it back in working order.

Fantastic experience: Never been there and I went in to sell my Xbox and I loved the place! While they do have a lot of arcade games they have a good selection of just about everything when it comes to games, along with employees that are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything they have! 100% will go back especially since they have an old dance dance revolution machine!

Fantastic experience: My son and I stopped by for the first time over the weekend and really enjoyed it. They have a large selection of console games, old school arcade games, pinball machines, air hockey, other unique old school games to play in shop, Pokémon cards, collectibles, used gaming systems, gaming accessories, and more. Staff was VERY knowledgeable and was able to tell me in detail about the two games I was debating between getting for my younger sons birthday. We enjoyed browsing, playing games, and shopping a little, and definitely plan to stop in again sometime. If you want to play air hokey just know you’ll need to ask someone working the counter for the hand pieces. Definitely recommend checking it out… unless you’re some high class snoot who only wants to visit a super tidy franchise selling brand new untouched items, then this place won’t be for you.. but I think those who may be looking into “nerdy” local shops and things to do will enjoy this place! Fantastic experience: Very cool place! All kinds of everything you could want! Vintage video games, arcade, funko,Pokémon and much much more. The staff was happy to help and very accommodating.

Negative experience: They're ok, if the cashier's pay attention to you. Just stood in line for 5 minutes, guy in front of me paid, cashier ran to back. I stood at the counter for another 2 to 3 minutes, taking photos of the cashier and being super obvious that I was waiting, then I left without giving them any money because they obviously didn't wanna give me any service.

Fantastic experience: A friend had his high school graduation party there. They were fantastic. They allowed for a very personal celebration PLUS nearly unlimited game play for a couple hours PLUS multi-player game play on the wall projection screen!!! This place is amazing for any gamer!!!

Positive experience: This place was a interesting visit but has it's issues. A large number of games are not working or running very poorly and need some serious maintenance. They do have a Sega time traveler! Which Is a very rare and interesting game I was happy to see it. They do have s good selection of vintage games to buy and the staff was nice and helpful. All and all worth seeing but they need to step up their game maintenance.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. They have all kinds of games from all different systems, including all retro games. They also have an arcade area where you can pay so much for free range gaming all you want. Affordably priced and the staff is friendly.

Fantastic experience: A great retro game store and arcade. While the prices for games aren't the best, with such a large selection of new and old games, that can be forgiven. Clarkade also has a great selection of arcade games to play for a pretty good price. One wonderful service is the disc resurfacing machine. For a price, you can make scratched discs work like new, and even test them in-store to make sure they work! Based on the signs put up around the shop, they frequently hold gaming competitions. The staff were very friendly, and unlike other game stores (Gamestop),didn't ask if I needed help every two seconds. Overall, a great place to shop for every type of gamer.
