Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Trade in process is below average. Retail workers are incompetent.
Negative experience: Made an online order with a $10 promo code on my account for a used game for pick up at this location. Next day the store canceled the order, and the promo code was not added back to my account so I lost the $10 discount. A week afterward, I went to the store in person and found the used game I wanted on the shelf immediately, so why was my order canceled and my discount not refunded?
Negative experience: People here are rude and ignorant.
Negative experience: I bought a converter from here in November 17th and it was defective. I brought it back on November 23rd in the original packaging and it basically still looked unopened. They told me they cannot accept it as a return because the package was opened even though they sold me a defective product. Very poor customer service and I’ll never be back.
Negative experience: Went in there and asked if the pokemon set phantasmal flames had released. Worker there said yes and all they had were the sleeved packs and booster bundles. I asked for a booster bundle and he bagged it up for me and charged me $45 for it. I didn’t realize he had given me the wrong booster bundle, which was mega evolutions, until I had gotten to my car and opened it. I don’t know if it was an honest mistake or if he was trying to deliberately do that to save them some himself or someone else, but it ruined my day. I was looking forward to it for a while.

Fantastic experience: I've been here several times, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, but my experience today made me give them 5 stars. My husband has only been playing god of war for the past few months. No cap I think this is his >30 run. Yesterday he told me he was doing a run with 2 vit, max luck, and min equipment and had defeated three dragons, within a sitting. I was as shocked as I was disturbed at the state of his gaming. Was the fish gear not enough? The 3rd 100% run? The gauntlet? The trial DLC? I knew right then that if I didn't intervene then, it would only be a matter of time before he shaved his head and tattooed himself... he already calls me "boy" (I am in fact his wife and not his son). THUS I went to my local gamestop and waited an hour outside because in a rush I hadn't seen the opening time was 11 and not in fact 10am. Whoops, blame it on my ADD. Anyways, I came in today looking for a game to gift to him and was super impressed at the dedication and care they spent helping me find the right game he might like. (I didn't tell them the gravity of the situation, but I think they could tell.) They were spot on too because he ended up really liking it and played it for several hours today!

Negative experience: Gamestop Employee backdoors pokemon. I asked him about a product that was behind the shelves and he said ‘there on hold’ so I asked him if it was sold he said ‘essentially’ . I didn’t know Gamestop did holds for products like Pokemon cards during this time. I guess the Gamestop don’t pay them enough so they need to resell cards now as well lol. Name tag name said ‘Cody’ but register was assigned to Courtland.

Negative experience: Just came buy on the way home from work to pick up my preorder for FF16. The door was shut with no notice on the front. Went to another store in the mall, used the bathroom and the door was still shut(30 mins later). Going to BestBuy, glad I only put 5 dollars down. Hopefully I'll get my refund.
Fantastic experience: I purchased Meta Quest 3S from the Roswell location & it was the wrong GB. I called The Marietta location & they helped me by finding a location that had the 256 GB. The person I spoke with I believe was a general/district manager who was working at that location. He was kind, patient and very helpful. He told me only the Cumberland Mall location had it. So I went there. The store was insanely busy but the staff were polite, fast, and efficient. They were able to assist me with swapping out the device and saved Christmas.
Negative experience: Terrible pricing and games are even more expensive than the sticker price when checking out.

Negative experience: Do not buy any consoles from this store I just ordered a NEW CONSOLE and when I went to pick it up it says pre-owned on the box which is beat up with several holes in it so it Def looked used. I called the store immediantly and they advised me to bring it back. As soon as I got to the desk the guy at the counter peals off the pre owned sticker and says it for a head set instead I told him to give me the sticker back n he crumbled it up n said it was in the trash I told him that it needs to be received from the trash and placed back in my possession since it was on my product and I KNOW IT SAID CONSOLE NOT HEAD SET now my kid can't get thier birthday present because I have to write corporate in order to get the correct item that I ordered
Negative experience: Exceptionally rude I walk in i’m not acknowledged, then when i need help i get blown off like im annoying the two guys at the counter’s Conversation (one has glasses might have been the manager the other was short), I have to walk over to the spanish gentleman who helped me as best he could but when he would ask the guy with glasses for further assistance i’m rudely waved off never coming here again, (& paid for a customer’s card order himself after being reimbursed on cashapp i guess while the card reader was down & lowered the price to pay the difference.)and i usually don’t write bad reviews but this was ridiculous. Happened around 7pm 02/15

Positive experience: It's your basic GameStop. That said it's very small for a GameStop. If you like to go to GameStop for collectibles and stuff your selection here will be very limited. But the employee there was polite and helpful when I bought the game I came for. I gave 4 stars mainly for the small size of the store.

Negative experience: Cameron showed up 35 mins to open the store. There were a lot of us waiting in line for a big release (Pokemon Legends: Arceus). Cameron walked up claiming his instagram got hacked (trying to over explain to the crowd of people waiting). Cameron went into the store and started playing on his phone for 15 mins before opening the store.

Negative experience: Wanted to pick up a game that was pre-ordered and prepaid but the store was closed. Said it was open online but was completely closed at 11:30am. Pretty upsetting since that was my main reason for going to the mall.

Fantastic experience: Great little shop for my gaming needs... Especially a staff member named Daniel. He really took the time to explain every question I had to me, educating me on all the nuances I needed to know. He also took the time to point out a lot of games which I and my daughter would enjoy playing.. Just an all around standout employee who deserves to hear an "Atta' Boy" from both me and his area manager. Daniel was the pivotal reason I spent my hard earned cash at Game Stop.

Negative experience: Sometimes it's a drag going to the GameStop at Cumberland Mall. Most of the time there is a long line & only one of them can help while the other one doing tasks. Back in February, I came in to sell my apple watch because I wanted to upgrade to a new one. The guy kept messing with the watch for a while to the point that he BROKE my apple watch and had the audacity to tell me that he can't sell it because it's broke. I said, "but you broke the watch." He started talking about how it could of been broke & I came in trying to sell a broke apple watch. My boyfriend and I went back and forth with him. At this point, I was done talking to him so I told him I'll call the district manager. I contact her & she said she'll check the video cam & how she was going to help us. It's been 4 months and I have not heard anything from Erica, the district manager. One time I called her & she was giving an attitude for calling her on her off day like I knew she work schedule. It's only this GameStop that gives me a hard time for some reason. The other GameStop in Austell and Marietta by the Marietta Diner always give great customer service.

Negative experience: Recently went to thos location to purchase a nintindo switch and a couple of games. The employee helping me with the transaction noticed my hesitancy to buy one of the new games saying, "if you dont like the game just bring it back to me and we can refund you" fast forward a few days, turns out I didnt like that game. So when returning to this location I approached the same employee that helped me this first time to return the game. "I'm sorry sir, we cannot refund open new games, its store policy" either he was unaware of his stories policy or he simply lied. His mistake, my dime. In the future I will drive out of my way to avoid this location and its clueless employees.
