Negative experience: Please open another location. The customer service at the Brodie location is terrible. The one off of Ben White was much better. The staff is not helpful at all. They’re almost seems like they’re upset to be at their job.
Negative experience: I really want to buy from Gamestop, but they make it hard to do business with them. Twice now I've ordered a game for same-day pick up, I get a confirmation of the order, then I never receive the email to pick it up. Turns out, hours later/the next day they canceled it saying it was a system error. Also, the employees are a mix of friendly and I-love-games-but-not-people types of folks. Not sure what's going on at this location, but I end up having to buy games from general retailers like Amazon or Target rather than supporting a company that is literally a game company. It's pretty sad.

Negative experience: I came to this location back in February 2025 to buy a PS5 for a gift. I was told by an employee named David, who claim to be the store manager, that even if its just controller that is defective i can bring in the whole console and swap it out for a NEW ONE, so i decided to get the 2 year PRP just encased. The person i give the ps5 to told me the controller had stick drift. I remembered i had a 2 year PRP so a few days ago i came with the whole console to swap it out for my new one as i was told. An employee ( forgot to ask for his name ) help me out. I thought i was going to get a new console. Turns out i was given a pre-owned. I argue but was told this policy change back in 2023. I dont know much about GameStop since i rarely come here but i was told by the `Store Manager` named DAVID that i was going to get a NEW ONE. I now understand why i got told that lie, so GameStop can meet their sales goals. This is unfair because i was told i was going to get a new one when ever i made the purchase. I even told them the `store manager` David told me about replacing it with a new console, The guy at the counter only said `who David?` acting like he has no idea who he is, When ever i ask if i can speak to him. After to much argue i sadly left with the pre-owned console. This is not over as i already contacted corporate about all of this Not only that but the used PS5 DID NOT WORKED AT ALL. Did not turned on, a HDMI cable was missing and the controller was dirty. ( the box had a label that had a date of 11/25/25 with the named Luke ) I step inside the next day to get another one or return it and i got yelled to leave because of what happen the day before. I drove to the Ben White location to see if they were kind enought to help me, when i got inside i got yell by a pink hair men to leave too. I assume they told near by GameStops about me to not let me in. I told corporate about it too. Just waiting for a response from them and see what happens. After i get a worked console i wont be coming back to any GameStop ever again!!!

Negative experience: I was trading in a Nintendo yesterday and I was quoted $45 for the trade in. I traded in some other games as well. As I went to pay for the game I was buying with my trade in credit the math didn't add up. The guy had changed the $45 to $35 without telling me. Then he huffed and sighed when I asked about the discrepancy. Beware at this location as I think this guy was the manager. I normally don't bother with reviews.
Fantastic experience: My normal GameStop was South Park Meadows and they closed. So mine and my Wife’s Switch 2 pre orders got sent to this location. The store had way more pre orders than they should have and the staff did a great job with the hard job they were given. The amount of people in that line with trade ins and questions that needed to be answered was unreal. All 3 staff members had a smile on their face the entire time moving as fast as they can to make sure everyone who pre ordered got their consoles. It wasn’t the smoothest midnight release I’ve ever been too but the guys in the store made the best of a tough situation and I appreciate them and every thing they did

Negative experience: I stopped here at 12:50 and the store hadn’t opened even though the paper on the door said they opened at 12:00.
Negative experience: "I was told my order was canceled even though I was assured they had the item in the back. They even said they had box containing the product. It's frustrating that staff wouldn't take the simple step to fulfill my order. This indicates a lack of willingness to provide basic customer service."

Negative experience: This is the worst GameStop in the country. I’ve been here twice before and received little to no help finding a game. This morning I came at 10:10a to buy a few games but a person I assume is the manager told me they’re not set up yet… Google says they open at 10am. You’d think that management would make sure to be “set up” by the opening time. Never coming back.
Negative experience: Customer service has died. I stopped at a nearby GameStop (not this location) and an individual helped me look for a used game for my son. Unfortunately they were out of stock at that location and referred me to Brodie Ln (this location) as they had stock. I drove straight there and arrived at 730 (store hours are to 8pm). I went to go inside and the door was locked. I could see the man at the counter and he pointed at his watched and shrugged-as to say “sorry dude we’re closed”. I called the location I was just at and the other employee said it was her manager and she would call to see if he could help me out. The answer was no-“I closed the registers”. This order now goes to amazon for a new game out of spite. @ GameStop. This type of service is why brick and motor stores die. @brodie manager-take a lesson from your employee in customer service. She was very helpful, you offered none.
Negative experience: Worst Gamestop experience I've ever had, might sound a bit over dramatic but I felt like I had been robbed. Went in to buy a game, the Employee helping me out sounded very helpful and nice, told me the game I was buying was $17 NEW, I thought "what a deal!" He even asked if I wanted to use my pro member $5 discount, I said sure why not. I was a fool for not questioning why the game was still $17 something once he had the total rung up INCLUDING my discount! Almost home, I decided to check my receipt at a stop light, turns out that I was charged for a video game warranty at around $10 and some change! The game was originally priced at around $12-$13 on the receipt, but he had given me a pre-owned version of the case that had a $17 tag. So to Recap my frustration, I was given a crappy generic gamestop case, got charged with a $10 warranty without my knowledge, and had my $5 pro discount wasted because I was charged way more for a game that should've been way cheaper! THANKFULLY, I went to a different Gamestop that was close to where I was, and they took a look at my situation. They were very helpful and also seemed to be frustrated with how I got scammed, I ended up getting a refund including my discount refunded, and even managed to find a $10 version of the game with it's original case! I don't want to drag down every employee at this location or anything like that, I understand that mistakes can be made, but for things like this to be overlooked is very unprofessional.
Negative experience: Don't shop here. Horrible selection, the workers don't know what's on sale and what's not, and they don't even honor their prices. Worst GameStop experience I've ever had by far. They have a game with a sticker on it for 24.99 and then it rings up as 49.99. They just shrugged their shoulders and said that's a sticker mistake. If you advertise something at a certain price then that's the price that should be honored. I was buying the game for my son. If he was there with me he would've seen the game, and I would've ended up buying it anyway because he's too young to understand how businesses try to rip you off.

Negative experience: Been here 25 min after they opend but the store had its lights on but it's not open I called several times no body awenserd the store is NOT open at the posted times sat for another hour! 6 people came and still nothing opend and then all 6 decide to do business else where Don't hold you're breath for the clock you'd die 7 times over before they open on time

Fantastic experience: All the employees here are great, and Raphael is awesome! I bought a pre-owned switch at this location that had a defective fan, causing the console to overheat and turn itself off. He enthusiastically helped me swap it out for a new switch AND walked me through transferring my save data over to the new system! (It's a bit of a process to swap saves to another switch) I've been coming to this location for the better part of 2 decades now and I'll be coming there for 2 more!
Negative experience: After having a hard time getting a PS5 I finally went to this GameStop. They gave me the wrong edition. Then I had to travel about an hour's time in traffic for them to switch it out and give me the right one. Some wasting time and gas for them to fix a mistake they made. And absolutely refused to help with store credit or anything like that for the inconvenience and time waisted. I am not happy with this manager.

Negative experience: Without a doubt one of the more unprofessional locations in the city. They are constantly closing early/opening late, shutting the store down in the middle of the day, letting phones ring without answering and in general refusing to serve customers during business hours.

Negative experience: I tried to go in at 4:20 and the open sign was on but the store was locked up and empty. I and 3 other people came up and had to leave.
Negative experience: Really annoyed with how this location handled the preorders for tears of the kingdom. I Pre-ordered the game in store months ago. Went to pick it up and was told they ran out weeks ago? I called other game stops and regret that I ordered here. They told me it was for preorders and should have only been given out to us. Now I got nothing.

Fantastic experience: Love this gamestop! Everyone who works there is so nice and it's always stocked with cool stuff. I am an avid funko pop collector and used to visit this location multiple times a week but haven't gone in a while. The gentleman at the counter immediately recognized me and asked me how I've been doing. It was so sweet to be remembered and valued as a customer.
