Negative experience: Sat in 40 mins worth of stand still traffic just to show up and see that the store is closed and no one is answering the phone even though it says online they are open and holiday hours for today are 10am-9pm. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s a few days away from Christmas and we’re closed at 3:40pm on a Monday. So glad I rushed out of work for this

Negative experience: Worst customer service. This location has been going downhill for a while and has gotten even worse. Made an online order to pick up in store on my way home from work. Store cancelled my order citing out of stock. Went in the store to check and found both items right away. They tried to claim that they have been getting in so many orders and that there was a glitch. To me it sounds like pure laziness. There wasn’t even a single customer when I went in. No wonder Game Stop is continuing to go under with trash stores like this one.

Negative experience: Black girl working the register was not welcoming at all, I asked if they had a “promo card” and she just replied saying “there’s no mega evolutions product anywhere” like girl I wasn’t even asking that, I asked about a promo card. Negative experience: So I came all the way on my way to go to this GameStop because according to the website that has something that I was looking for I looked at line just to see the hours and I think they were supposed to close at eight. They have what I was looking for in stock so I drive all the way across town here and get all the way there to find these beautiful sign that says that they’ll be back at 4 o’clock and I was there about 3 o’clock today and I just feel like that’s very unprofessional and very businesses that do this have regards for people and their time. I don’t understand completely. If this wasn’t the time that was actually posted on the door and on the website, but to put the sign up is very frustrating.

I also want to also emphasize the INCREDIBLE customer service that Tristell and Jackson provided. Negative experience: What a clown show this place is. I bought a used switch for my nephew from here and was told that they check out everything before they sell them. He got it home and one of the controllers doesn’t work and it still had the previous owner’s information on it. So it doesn’t seem like they even looked at it before selling it. The girl we checked out with also tried to sell us game warranties and almost got away with it until I noticed it on the screen. She tried to cover her actions by saying that “the system does that automatically “. Watch out for this place and their terrible service. The store is also dirty and unorganized I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of the stores that is supposed to close in the next couple months which is too bad because this place was incredible last Christmas 2024.

Negative experience: I had a pre order for MLB The Show 25 and came to pick it up at 1pm on release day (3/18). The woman at the register said my preorder is in the store but is in the back in a shipment box and “haven’t gotten around to it yet.” I said “no problem, I’ll come back in a couple hours.” She told me to come back to pick it up “in 2-3 DAYS. Sorry.” I cancelled my preorder at GameStop and bought the game from Best Buy instead. They had it ready for pick up within 15 min. I do not recommend this GameStop location.

Negative experience: Did an online order here for a PS5 back around the end of October to go pick up in store. I got email saying it was ready to pick up so i drove there. When i got there the employee, who i found out her name is Ashton was really rude to start off. She then randomly started screaming for no reason because I guess she got irritated however it is her job but she went to the back and never came to the front again. Someone else had to help me out, when i tried to pick up my PS5 the other person who helped me out said that the order was already picked up by someone else and that there wasn't anything they can do. It irritated me so bad because I got charged for something I didn't receive. ☹️ They still refuse to give me one they had in stock and now it's been 4 months, nothing, I've been stuck in customer support and they refuse to help me. This GameStop was my regular, I went there often but most of the employees are rude and after that incident don't count on me coming again. It's bullshit. This place is awful.

Negative experience: This is genuinely the most Horrible place, a manager named Freya was rude not only to me but to an employee who is new i assume. I tried doing a trade in and the manager kept getting mad at him for not doing it right, like i get it to an extent. However the kid is new and is learning but no reason to be rude to the employee for learning they atleast are making an effort. This same kid helped me before and is super sweet and extremely polite, but the manager always has an attitude to which I don't understand. If she dosent like her job she can leave, no reason to be rude to others. Also if you decide to shop here dont spend money on making a pro account or getting warranty's on your items, its pretty pointless and an utter scam since most of the time they never even hold up or respect the warranty. This place is pretty rough and if I could rate it lower than one Star, I would. Doesn't even deserve a star, won't be coming again.

Negative experience: lol customer services is so bad here. I went in day after Christmas around noon and upon arriving 2 workers were inside NOBODY ELSE. Negative experience: Tried to buy a ps4 pro the gentleman helped me to order from their store and i kept on repeating about the apartment number needs to be updated correctly which i think he didn’t update. Negative experience: We came in the shop looking for a new xbox s, they didn't have one, so we got a used one. It was a decent price. We got home and realized they gave us the wrong wire. Went back and got the right one. Then we got home and realized the controller was drifting, and buttons were getting pressed randomly. We called because if you're going to sell us a console that's used, at least make sure everything works. We called, and they offered a full refund. But couldn't you just replace the controller that wasn't working? Super bad experience and never buying from there again Add on- I bought a new controller to just play, and the Xbox wasn't even working, giving an error code about my internet, but that isn't an issue. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM HERE !DONT BUY PRE OWNED CONSOLES!

Negative experience: I have shopped in store many times but this was the first and LAST time I ever order online or do business with them again. I ordered a Christmas present on Dec 10th, with expected delivery Dec 15th. Here it is now the 19th and I have called the store, who said they shipped the item, I call USPS who says the item was never shipped. I email delivery solutions and they tell me to wait till the 21st to see if I get the package or not. I remind them this is a Christmas gift, I need to ensure the item is coming or I need a replacement ASAP. The agent i was emailing didn’t seem to care and just said again to wait till the 21st and never addressed my concerns. So I call the store again, they are now unsure if the item was shipped or not or possibly sold the last one by accident…they tell me to call customer service…so I do. I speak with a manager who after I inform her of all these issues, informs me that they could POSSIBLY refund me, but it would take 2 WEEKS!!!! Again not only is this a Xmas gift, this was an item over $100!! So now not only am I out of a Christmas gift, I don’t even know if I will receive a refund or not from this company! Even the manager tells me, “yeah that package is lost”….so then replace it!!!! When asking for the replacement, they say it could take 2 weeks for that too and not guaranteed. I am disgusted with GameStops poor customer service, lack of professionalism and horrible policies! I’m a long time customer but now, I’ll never shop there again. I feel robbed. So disappointed bc I purchase collectibles (which are not cheap) but I refuse to waste my time and money to only be stressed out on where my items and money are! Do better

Negative experience: Horrible Return Policy. Bought a controller for to use on an older game, Controller ended up not working with the game but wanted to try it anyway. When I tried to return the controller I was told by the manager on duty that I would not be able to return it because I did not purchase the added protection fee, Which would of allotted to 5 or 10 extra dollars. The idea of paying an extra fee to be able to return a product is insane, its extremely evident that this company is going out of business at an alarming rate.

Fantastic experience: The employee lady was super nice! They have a lot of stock here and some great sales going on! The store itself if 5 stars. Read below though! Disclaimer** (Just be careful going to this area though. When you do walk in they have a thing that goes off saying they have cameras to make sure you don't steal. Which is great! We thought it was weird because that was the first time we have ever heard a gamestop say that so we figurer maybe a lot of people try and steal there. We understand why when we left too. There were 3 homeless guys who were screaming at us trying to get money acting all crazy and looked very much like they were on drugs. Normally those things don't bother us but they seemed to be getting a bit aggressive. So definitely make sure you are paying attention to your surrounds!!!)

Negative experience: Hi, Went by game stop the other day off 500 e Ben White suit#1000 Atx 78704 area this one bold guy name Keith "manager" so called aka Mr clean gave me attitude he the MANGER wasn't there trying to help "his costumers" but just being really picky about exchange out a controller that I never had a chance to play with. Bcuz defective I did my 7 day return before date and told him It was defective it's like they really don't "refurbished " aka fix them UP they just push them out they really need to work on them literally . I literally had to wait a whole month to get this problem fixed I was patient then this new guy give me attitude i have been a member with them for several years now never had this issue I think they need a new management bad guy probably wont ever go back to that location

Negative experience: My partner and I walked into the store looking for controllers, we ended up liking one that was locked up in a glass cabinet and we asked to look at it and the guy said unfortunately he couldn't open it up because they recently did a grab and dash so we asked a question about the controller if it had back paddles and he says I don't know. Negative experience: Selection isn’t bad but place has the some of the worst employees. No desire to be there and take out the fact that they work there on you. Also probably best not to buy older games here the couldn’t find 2 of them I bought said we’re lost, the one I did get dude got his hands all over the disc which is more of a personal thing probably but if I’m paying 40-50 bucks because the game is older and rare maybe not get your hands all over the disc.

Negative experience: I purchased a $25 Roblox card at this store for my son. We went straight home and tried to redeem it. The card redemption code gave us an invalid error when we tried to redeem it. We went straight back to the store and the manager refused to even look at it. He said that it was not his problem and that I probably redeemed it and am trying to get my money back. He said I have to get a replacement or refund from Roblox. I spoke to the manager at the GameStop store in Kyle, and he said that if I had purchased it from HIS store, he could have given me a refund without any problems. The Roblox company has no interest in helping me either!

Negative experience: Horrible place! I bought a game for $68 and when I tried paying with my card it got declined so I payed with cash yet they still took the money from the card. I called the first time and they said my refund should be received within 72 hours So I got rid of the receipt and when it wasn’t I called again and they said they did not have any information in my name and could not do anything. They instead told me to go to the store to speak to the manager but I cannot go because I don’t have the receipt. End note, I payed $138 for a game. Never shopping here.

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a return policy. "30 day guarantee" on the box but yet the PS4 slim breaks after 3 days. I return it 15 days later as I was travelling for the labor day holiday and I find out you only get to exchange it for another console if it is after 7 days.....so I guess the 30 day guarantee is only as good as the company that writes it. And a company whose stock has been absolutely cratering really must need any $$$ it can get. So long game stop, I will now do all of my shopping somewhere else and I cant wait to see you become another victim of the retail apocalypse.

Fantastic experience: Walked in to purchase what I needed for my 7 year old daughter to play Just Dance. Had no knowledge of what I needed but Nathaniel was very helpful in taking the time to get me what I needed to make my little girl happy!

Fantastic experience: Purchased a used PS3, the sales rep was kind enough to open up the box and let me see it before purchasing. It came with the console, power cable, HDMI cable, DualShock 3 controller and power cord for the controller. When I got home I discovered there was a game disc in the ROM drive. I’m not sure if this was supposed to be included but was a nice surprise.

Positive experience: It's hit and miss with this staff everytime I go. I've had some awesome conversations, but I've also seen the staff give children looks of disgust. I'm not saying you have to love kids, but if you work in a video game store, you need to be ok with being around adolescents. The staff is always well educated on their products though. And they always give honest feedback.

Fantastic experience: So my daughter had requested something and luckily i found what she wanted. I'm a huge fan of home delivery however their shipping was $6.00 for a $6.00 item. Saw that I could place the order and pickup in store as this location was close I decided to give it a try. Placed my order with 30mins was notified that it was ready to pick up. The store clerk was friendly and the store was clean and well organized.
