Fantastic experience: Went to go get my Nintendo switch fixed after Procrastinating for like two months. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Fixed it in like 2 to 3 hours! Was able to get everything I needed and get everything connected. Finally was also able to get the new Tomodachi life! Great place! Lots of variety will probably get my Wii fixed there as well Or get the parts for it! 10/10 and would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Bros Game Shop was awesome. The owner is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to electronics repair, and you can tell she really knows what she’s doing. Other places quoted us 2–3 days, but she had my son’s Xbox repaired and ready in about 4 hours. She did the repair herself, included a 2-month warranty, and even took the time to explain how to prevent the issue from happening again. She also attached a care/instruction sheet to the console, which was a nice touch. On top of that, my son’s Xbox was extremely dirty, and she cleaned it at no extra charge. Great service, fast turnaround, honest work, and very professional. Highly recommend Bros Game Shop.

Being there for five minutes, it was very nostalgic, looking at all these video games and councils from my childhood. Great deals on all. Love local mom and pop shops! Definitely beats ordering online, waiting, and then hoping the game works from 16 years ago. This was perfect! Will visit again, when in the area. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Called several places and was told it would take several days to repair hdmi port. Got PS 5 repaired the same day here. Staff provided some education on how to maintain console as well. I didn’t notice but my son said they had a “bunch of gaming stuff”. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This place doesn't look like much, but what they have is much more important. Its one of the lost safe haven for retro gaming. Its a place ,Where the person behind the counter actually knows what they're talking about, you can actually asked them a question. They'll have or seen it all. They won't try and sell you pop funky, or t-shirt, but they'll have GameCube controller. Miss places like this.

Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service! Went in to trade in a bunch of old consoles and games and they were very quick to process/review everything and gave me an offer in 1-2 days. They worked with me to do a trade-in for some games and controllers I was looking for. Overall I am very happy with the experience! Staff is very friendly & knowledgable, and they have a cool selection of new and retro games too! Highly recommend checking them out!

Negative experience: I was here for a bday gift once, I was short on time and bought 6 games which were on sale. The worker saw that I arranged them in a way to get a decent discount but the store owner wouldn't allow me to arrange them the way I wanted. Only because I had a rough day and running late for the bday event did I cave in and buy them but the owners def aren't gamers, don't have compassion and aren't willing to do a fair trade. This was per their rules posted at the time which allowed a bargain of buying 3 games, lowest one was discounted a bit. I never went back cause they're super scummy about pinching pennies and won't honor their bargains. At the time they also seemed to appear to mistreat their employees, the guy working behind the counter looked miserable. Hopefully it's better now.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic game shop we have used for device repairs, disk repairs, and used device purchase. They have the fancy kind of disk repair that works better, and its cheaper than neighboring shops who use a worse method. Fair prices, nice and knowledgable staff.

Fantastic experience: We dropped off a Switch Lite because the left toggle button stopped working. Rather than buy a new one, we hoped it could be fixed. When we brought it in, the shop keeper was very kind and informative about the possible problem. She gave us two estimates depending on the fix. The cost was respectable and still better than replacing a whole system. The turn around was less than 24 hours which was a great surprise. If you pay in cash, you don’t pay the tax. I plan to use this shop for future repairs.

Fantastic experience: I brought in my PS5 in for a power issue tried to troubleshoot it myself at home to no avail. But once I brought it to the stop with in a matter of minutes they solved my issue. Truly seems like they are trained by Sony themselves. I will always be taking my consoles here!

Fantastic experience: This place and the owners are great! I came in today having issues an old DS cartridge. The issue wound up being a very simple fix, so they fixed it on-the-spot and sent me on my way without charging me. I’m very thankful to have come across such an honest business!

Fantastic experience: Took in a PS3 with my friend to see if it still worked and Sally checked it out for us and confirmed that it did. Simple video reset, got a new power cord as we didn't own one, and a new controller as well. Really great shop, very chill and helpful. Fantastic experience: This place is amazing as always. As a long time customer for well over a decade, I went here today to get 26 games resurfaced, and each game came out looking brand new. I like the resurfacing machine they use here, It's high quality and top notch. Nowadays, It's hard finding a retro store that not only has a professional resurfacing machine, but offers these kinds of services. I'm happy to see that we still have retro video game stores around other than Gamestop. Thank you so much, Sally and Kat for all the amazing work that you do. If I ever need anymore games resurfaced, I'll be sure to pay you another visit.

Fantastic experience: Called ahead and Sally, an employee, was very helpful and quoted me a price and let me know the time it might take. Came to this shop because I had an issue with my PS5 not reading blu-ray disc. Paid a small deposit and within an hour or so, the issue was fixed. Came home and tested, completely satisfied. Very happy with kind and speedy service given. Great place to come repair your console if you are in the South Bay/Los Angeles area. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Brought in a Nintendo Switch that wasn’t powering on anymore after not being in use for quite some time. Was given a very quick and detailed diagnosis, they let me know exactly what was wrong with it and what they needed to do to fix the issue. After a week in their hands I checked up on it and they gave me another detailed update and apologized for it taking longer than expected but by no means was it an issue and just 2 days later it was ready for pick up! Switch is on and working just fine. They have warranties to ensure satisfaction and product quality so I am very satisfied! Highly recommend for console/ system repairs

Fantastic experience: One of the easiest tech shops l've ever been to!!! Very helpful and informative. I came in to fix my PS5 which had a problem with the hdmi port. While they were fixing it they sent me updates through text message with photos attached to it. Extremely fast service, they were able to give me my ps5 back the very next day. Super easy process to pick up back your console or whatever you come in for. I came in again because I couldn't turn on my PlayStation due to me not wanting to fix the power button (I know that was a dumb move by me) so when I asked if they can turn it on, they went to go ahead and do it no questions asked. She even gave me a tip on how to turn it on without the controller or power button. The greatest customer service of all time will come here again. Thank you Bros game shop!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I don't know where to start, this place Rocks! I am very pleased with the entire process of getting my PS5 fixed at this spot. From the start I called to ask if they could fix my system I went out of town and came back home to my PS5 was not starting at all no noise, no lights nothing. I was so concerned I would have to buy a new console. Not the case at all, Sally told me over the phone it needed to be diagnosed and what the possibilities could be. I took it in and just a few hours later my PS5 was fixed! At a great price! I strongly recommend them for any of your console needs. Ask for Sally she's the Best!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting, and it was wonderful! Definitely worth visiting this store at least once! Sally and Chris were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional! The prices are incredibly fair! I called ahead of time to see if they had anything for the Sega Saturn. I asked what titles they had, Sally proceeded to list off game after game which was great in itself. When I asked if they were complete, all but one were she said. That blew my mind! After arriving, and saying hello. I was stunned to see they had as many games, as I have in my collection (around 50). Unheard of in all the stores I've been to. Lucky enough if I see one or a few. Not only that, they were all in excellent, even mint or near mint condition! While I did have many of the titles she listed, the essential owns. I was there for something a little more uncommon, Hang On GP. After Sally scanned it, it was about half of what I was ready to pay! Even in the mint condition it's in. Then came the big decision, Three Dirty Dwarves. Very rare and sought after. I'd seen prices for about $100 . They asked $150, which is a tall ask and I said I'd seen it for less. Chris immediately checked, and I learned their price was completely fair. For one in as good condition as this one. It was closer to $170 complete online. The $100 I'd seen online was for disc only, some even scratched. I was so happy he checked and furthered my belief I was getting a good deal and that the time to buy was now if I was going to. $150 seemed nothing but reasonable to me. Can't speak to repairs. There's enough reviews with nothing but praise on that. If I ever do need anything fixed. This place would without a doubt be my first choice! Overall. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. You should too if you are also. Thank you again for everything Sally and Chris!

Fantastic experience: Walked in needing a new battery on a Gameboy cartridge. They gave me an estimate and offered to fix it then and there. In and out in 20 minutes, at a VERY reasonable rate. I'm very pleased and will do business here again!

Fantastic experience: We didn't find the game we were looking for, but we did find two other games that we were excited about. This place has been here forever and I've never been inside, but I'll definitely be back. Safe to say Bros Game Shop is one of the last nine Game Stop game shops in town.

Negative experience: It really bugs me when a business doesn’t answer the phone like why are you even in business pretending to care about the public? If you can’t pick up your phone I don’t care if you’re busy pick up your phone or get out of business get out of our city.

Fantastic experience: I brought my son’s switch here to get repaired. I accidentally dropped his switch while it was charging & the port got messed up. Sally helped me out. Said it was gonna take 1 to 2 days to get fixed. Within 2 hours of dropping it off it was READY! They work fast the switch was like brand new. Thank you Sally. Best costumer service. Fantastic experience: Nice cool little game shop, it was my first time going, heard from a co-worker they also repair consoles, took in my Xbox one, was helped by Sally, she is super nice and knowledgeable and honest, said she didn’t see any damage, she gave it a couple sprays and plugged it in and it was good to go, the honesty was the most important part. It’s a great shop, felt nostalgic going in, they have tons of games from older consoles, they have older consoles themselves as well, definitely going back!

Positive experience: As I always think, it’s amazing to have retro stores like this , for gamers like us who love to play and find oldies without an issue. This store is definitely filled up with a ton of games and hidden gems. My brother and I had the chance to visit a bunch of retro stores like this and after visiting this one … I have to say keep it as your last option. This store does have games at good prices , but after looking at every catalogue of games , most were overpriced ridiculously. We get it , we older games cost more , but other stores have even fair prices where you can get them for less at a great condition. Overall, visit this store! Just make sure to look at the other places and keep this one at last resort… UNLESS, you need to do a repair or get something where you can’t find it anywhere else !

Fantastic experience: ok so i went to another spot b4 i came here. i talk to woman that i assume owns shop. she was nice she knew what was wrong. and was nice to recommend to prevent my nintendo switch from messing up. so if incase i have any other problems with anything i own that are electornics im coming back. the price was good because in other spots they charge way more n she is a sweetheart. its a small shop but she has alot ot stuff for any other system. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Negative experience: I went to get my 3ds xl fixed and the first time I went to pick it up, they messed up. The second time it was the same, some stickers on the top screen were damaged. And the lady didn’t want to do anything about. Eventually she said she’d find a replacement but I had to put up a fight. I would’ve been better off getting a new 3ds Xl. I paid $100 for this BS. Also the prices are very high. I do not recommend wasting your time here. HORRIBLE

She diagnosed the problem with my Nintendo switch in about 10 minutes, and it was completely fixed in about 25 minutes. They have a customer for life, and I will always come back there with all my video game needs.

Fantastic experience: Went today for the first time and was greeted by Sally. She was great!! She was repairing a ps2 console and she stopped just to help me. I felt right at home and she answered all my questions without me feeling like I was stopping her from her work. She was kind and respectful. As for the consoles and games. They had a great variety. Most and it good price points. Some under market price and others above. I supported in both as I want to make sure they are around for a very long time! Thanks Bros!! Fantastic experience: I just want to say that this place has my business for gaming needs for the rest of my life! I had a power outage that shorted out my Xbox. I brought it in before to this place and was charged a fair price and it worked perfectly. I went back today and received the absolute best customer service. I explained what happened and that I live rather far away, so Sally offered to fix it the same day. Turns out that it needed a new hard drive, and after about an hour (I hadn't eaten yet, so I went to go and get lunch), I received a call that it was ready. She even took the time to show me what the inside looked like and explained about the internal workings, which was fascinating to me. She charged me a surprisingly low price for same day turnaround. I say again, I will shop here and support this business for all my gaming needs.

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars isn’t enough! If you ever need your Xbox, PlayStation or any other gaming system repaired, I highly recommend Bros Game Shop in Torrance. Dropped the Xbox off yesterday at 3ish. Was ready by 11am today. The cost to repair was surprisingly affordable! Sally was awesome. So nice. Didn't try to upsell me. She closes at 7pm and she sent me a text at 6:59 last night to tell me what the problem was and that it would be ready today. I haven't experienced such great customer service in a long time. She sells new and used games & gaming systems too. Go see her. You won’t regret it!
