Fantastic experience: shoutout to the ladies holding down the fort on international womens day!! seriously with whatever management mixup that has been going on, these girls are the boots on the ground that has kept this location thriving. even with all the commotion that inevitably comes through, these women maintain an incredibly helpful demeanor. appreciative of you all!
Fantastic experience: This is one place for all games
Negative experience: You guys sold me a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that you guys said was "new". It was the only copy you guys said you had. But yet the box was on display and had scratches and dents. And to make it worse, the cartridge shows signs of use because of the scratches from the readers in the Switch console. Point being: SHOULD NOT HAVE SOLD IT TO ME AT "NEW" PRICE!!!!

Negative experience: I entered the store and noticed only one employee, who assisted me. However, when she requested my phone number to locate my account, she was unable to find it. I wondered if she was having difficulty because of my Asian heritage and the assumption that I had an Asian name. I visited other locations, and the associates were able to locate my account using the same phone number. They also inquired if the account was under my name, to which I replied affirmatively. Initially, I was perplexed as to why the employee at the 4th Street location was unable to find my account. Subsequently, I pondered whether her actions were motivated by racial bias. Upon departing the store, I noticed that she bid farewell to other customers but not me.

My son is 7 years old and he touched a control that was slightly behind the counter and was yelled at by the person working there and my son started crying so I left and never wanna go back to that non welcomed game stop. I hope you guys better your workers a tell them to at least try to be kind to our little ones. Thank you.

Negative experience: Came in on my lunch because online it said they had 5 IN STOCK Topps allen Ginter baseball cards waited 10 mins just for the gentleman to tell me he couldn't find them. You guys have to control your inventory once a week do count to make sure things are counted for.

Fantastic experience: Came back a few hours later after buying a 3rd-party controller for Nintendo Switch; asked for a refund after finding out the controller doesn't use gyro controls/motion controls. They took the time to pop in a new roll of coins while they honored an exact full refund. 10/10 would let them cover my poor lack of research and life choices again. Now I can afford dinner tonight :D

Negative experience: - BROKEN ITEM sold / Sold as new item / No refund issued - Before and during COVID, I would not open every box in the store, and I trusted that GameStop would not do anything funny to their items. I bought a Star Wars waffle maker as a gift at a CLEARANCE price - to be fair. Shortly after I went home, when I checked, the waffle handle was already broken. When I attempted to return it, I was hoping for at least in-store credit - I get it there is restrictions; however, I was denied everything, and I left the stores with a big "It is broken. You'll just have to take it with no choice" impression. The customer service online was, like, two-week slow, and when they finally replied, they suggested me to go to a store and (attempt to) return it; they mentioned that they could not handle it online somehow. However they marked down the price for an item, this is still not moral. If they issued an in-store credit, I could at least pre-order a game or what have I. It is simply frustration and disappointment at this point.

Negative experience: ...lies disappointing to know a Major business either has no employee handbook or simply insists on hiring anybodies who perform nefarious business under their name. To think more pple are not upset about the fact online they make many statements and yet when directed to a store the employees either have no idea whats going on or deny that what I read to be false. But then again video games are more addictive then the crack all these ppl are on so what was I to expect
Negative experience: How does the store accept pre-orders for a product and then not have it in stock on the day of the launch?
Negative experience: Walked in and wasn't greeted, I was looked at like I was a criminal, was told after I pay for item, they would bring out the item from the back. Was told they do that because adults come in and run out of there store at times with whatever there interested in, without paying, I asked do kids actually do that? , they said no , adults do it. I'm 56 year old black man, I watched after I left, that policy was different for others., This occurred at the 4010 Atlantic Ave store, at the FedEx office game stop, sorry for the mistake

Positive experience: It wasn't too busy. Was able to find what I was looking for fairly quickly. Entrance isn't automatic but it is designed for anyone to get in with no issues. There is parking right in front of the store but its metered. You can press this green button and it gives you about 10 to 15 minutes before you have to pay. There is free parking but in the parking structure down the block.

Negative experience: This stores management is a joke, Gary is very rude! Didn’t bother helping, had me waiting in line almost over 20 minutes and didn’t bother to look up and help. Had an attitude when I told him I been ready and waiting for him, he looked up saw right by me to greet another person while I was waiting. Never NEVER EVER COMING BACK TILL GARY IS GONE!

Positive experience: This is a good gamestop. I stop in here every once in a while and usually with a friend. They have great stuff and the staff is always so nice and friendly. My only problem is that the employees (and I don't know if they have to do this but) offer things to the customers which is nice but if the customer says no they keep trying to order different things. I'm like the man said no so let him go but if the employer is making them do this then......... But I waited in line for like an extra 7 minutes as an employee kept trying to offer some guy stuff and it clearly looked like he wanted to leave. Other than that it's a great place to buy games, toys, collectables, and other things.
