Experiencia positiva: UPDATE: I'm lowering my review upon visiting a second time. On our return visit, we noticed a significant change in l compared to our first experience making the claw machines much more difficult. Where we previously won 10-12 prizes with consistent success every few attempts, this visit resulted in only a few wins across 14 different claw machines, with the claw strength appearing noticeably weaker. The successful grab was dramatically stronger than all other attempts, so the machines seem to have been reconfigured since our last visit. It was an extreme difference, I even heard other people/children around us commenting on how much more difficult they've made the claw machines.Like most of the attempts aren't even strong enough to lift up a little plushie. Come on, Claw City! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This place is awesome fun! But PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU GO (trust me it will make the experience much better): 1) Tokens cost about 50 cents each (slightly more expensive if you buy less than $50 of tokens, slightly cheaper if you buy more than $50). 2) There are 5 types of machines that you can spend the tokens on: A) coin drop game which is kinda like a slot machine w/ a very small chance to win points for 1 token per try, B) random figure/toy machines for 5-10 tokens ($2.50-5) & you just get a random figure from an assortment, C) a large string-cut game for 4 tokens ($2) w/ a very small chance to win an expensive plush, D) tiny claw machine games for 1-2 tokens ($1) w/ a chance to win a small prize like a keychain/tiny figure/toy, & E) the majority of the machines which are regular-sized claw machines for 3-5 tokens ($1.50-2.50) per try for a chance at a small plushie. 3) I would highly recommend just focusing on the last option above, the regular-sized claw machines with various plushies for prizes. The other types of machines really feel like bait to waste your tokens. Most of the regular plushie machines are 3-4 tokens ($1.50-$2) per try, and you can actually get pretty good at these claw games to win a plushie a lot more often (maybe every 1-5 attempts depending on how good you can get at it). I saw several people go very quick and spend 10-20 attempts ($15-30) trying to get a single plushie that was in a very difficult position, meanwhile others would look around for an easier plushie to go for and get it in 1-2 attempts ($1.50-3). Each small plushie from these machines can be turned in for 1 point or you can keep whichever ones you like, so if you spend $50 and win 20 plushies versus 3 plushies, it really makes a big difference. 4) I know what you're thinking, "but why would I want 20 small plushies?" You don't. Nobody does. But if you spend at least $50 you also get a "free" VIP card that lets you trade in and save up the above points. So if you get good and end up with 20 plushies, you can choose which ones to keep and then turn in the remaining 15-18 for points! The main problem is that if you don't understand how the place works, it's very easy to walk in, buy $25-50 of tokens and then lose them in 10 minutes with nothing to show for it and wonder why you went here. We had put a ton of tokens into the stupid coin drop game and had gotten zilch from it before we figured out how this place works. With our remaining ~80 tokens we tried to play it smart and browse around the claw machines to find shapes/sizes/locations of plushies that were easier to get. We ended up with a total of 9 small plushies, so we kept 3 of them and exchanged the other 6 for points on our card. Feedback for Claw City: When the employees help out and are on the customer's "team" trying to win them prizes, they're going to be a lot lot more willing to play more! :) We weren't having a great time until someone showed us the ropes and an employee was kind enough to let us trade a plushie for another color. Those kinds of things will make people want to come back!

Experiencia negativa: After finding this place on instagram and watching a handful of posts and reels decided I was gonna take my kids and my daughters best friend .. i was under the impression that all the kids would at least walk away winning something each…after 50$ in less then 10 minutes that was not the case at all. Is the vibe cute ?yes.. is it clean ?yes are the prizes cute ? Yes Did it match what was portrayed not in the slightest. The kids left saying it was a scam just like any other arcade . I wanted to love this place. Thought I had found something super cool.

Got 4!! of the characters I wanted in about 12 tries and I’m really happy with it! Employees are really kind and I noticed them going around and fluffing up the piles in each machine. They’re very helpful and also make sure that everyone is winning something. Such a great and rewarding place to visit whether you’re a kid or an adult!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been to much better claw places. This one has good toys but it doesn’t make as playable as I would like. It takes more tokens per play even though you get a few more tokens per dollar. The claws are weak always and did not ever pick anything up. It was not as fun and rewarding as the Carrollton claw spots. I don’t recommend.
