My son brought the car for the game he wanted and she tried to get him to put it back. We knew it was the only copy. So she still had to grab it off the shelf. Won't be back.
Experiencia negativa: Worst GameStop. Yea I’m looking around, no I don’t need you to look up something to see if you have it. Ppl browse. The lady manager is the worst GameStop employee I’ve dealt with. She’s the “store leader” but has to make all these phone calls when the price online is a few bucks cheaper than in store. She didn’t know what to do or how to handle it. Ended up walking out. I’ll spend my money elsewhere
Experiencia negativa: A few years ago, I reviewed this store 5 stars and said that I love this GameStop. It really is the largest in the country. That being said, I can no longer stand by my 5 star review. The manager at this store is just downright pushy. She offers you a warranty on a game, and makes you feel stupid for not getting the warranty. I get it. I used to be a Store Leader for GS. I know the need to push Circle of Life. This SL though is far from friendly, and is NOT the person I would want running my largest store. She was on the phone with a customer with no line, while I was browsing a section, and the customer asked if she had an item, but rather than look, she made the customer feel stupid about asking because she runs the largest store in the country and it would take her a while to find the item. She then told him to come in and look for it himself. Every time I go in, and I see her, I have to walk out. Buying from her is the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a gamestop, and i got punched by a customer in 2018 for not having the newest madden in stock. Yes I would rather get punched in the face than buy from her again. I will update this review with a photo of the manager at some point down the line.
Experiencia negativa: We went and bought the mile morales game to include spider man 1. We spoke to the guy and was told it would include both. It said on the case it included the original game. We opened the case and realized it was just the miles morales game. I don’t know if it was a mistake but we were given the miles morales game only. We literally wouldn’t have bought the game if it didn’t include both.
Experiencia positiva: Good location but the new store manager is pushy. She likes to pressure you to much on renewing memberships, warranties or preordering games that will have a big stock on release date. It’s really annoying and exactly why I started going to the other GameStop’s in the area.

Experiencia negativa: I went to return a funko pop at this location because this store is the closest to my residence. The store manager (who I will not name but will go by “B”) was absolutely rude and extremely reluctant to do the return for a funko pop that I bought the same day at another location in a better condition. “B” snatched my receipt out of my hand and was impatient and made facial expressions of displeasure. For “B” to be as rude as she was needs to undergo some managerial training for having a customer facing position. She does not represent the great company that GameStop is when it comes to customer service. I hope my return was processed correctly because she made me feel like I wasn’t worth her time.

Experiencia negativa: Wow, I just got back from possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I went to go buy Assassin’s Creed Mirage and they asked if I preordered it, I said no. A lady employee (I assume the manager) just started giving me a lecture into how I need to preorder these things because they’ve been out of stock AND I get some “cool” bonuses. Meanwhile the guy employee (who was nice) finds the stock number on the computer and said they had A LOT in stock. If you are going to lecture lady, do it AFTER you tell me you are OUT OF STOCK. It’s sad because the GameStop store itself is probably one of the best I have been in. The lady employee (the manager) needs to NOT be in the store helping customers OR she needs to learn that harassing your customers is not the way to run your business. Thank you for the lecture, next time I preorder a game, it’ll be on Amazon.
Experiencia negativa: I came in just to look around at Pokémon stuff. And I saw the new Pokémon 151 out. And my husband asked me how much they are and I said I’m not sure. And the lady was very rude! I was not even talking to her! Didn’t even get a chance to ask. But she snaps at us and says out those are all preorders! You can’t buy those. There is a nicer way to speak to people! Especially when you’re eavesdropping on our conversation. Neither one of us asked about it yet. Go to another GameStop, this is the worst I have been treated at one! Also GameStop if they are preorders you should probably put them away!
Experiencia positiva: Your usual GameStop, I was at the checkout buying a game and the manager interrupted an employee to "train" him to ask if I wanted to sign up for GameStop Rewards, she then took over and asked me if I wanted to join, I declined. She then insisted that I must if I wanted to get Metroid pins as a "sign up bonus", again I declined, I said I didn't want it, she then insisted that I did, eventually I gave in so the conversation would end. Its been about a year since this has happened and I barely go to gamestop, once a blue moon I drop in. I work retail as well, and the one thing I never do is convince someone to get something they don't need, I don't care if it's a $14 yearly plan with great benefits, I don't want it.
Experiencia negativa: The worst customer service ever! I did a purchase through there website and i never received it ! And they refused to refund the money they charged me for the Console and the 2 year’s subscription and i never received any ! Its a fraud !!!
Experiencia fantástica: This location is huge! Didn't have a retro game I was looking for but the staff was super friendly and helpful. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for at the location they suggested!
Experiencia negativa: Beautiful facility. The largest and nicest GameStop location I’ve ever visited. The customer service sucks with them not answering the phone and lying about it. Also, the overselling with warranty extensions/buyers protection was annoying. I also preordered AEW wrestling and I’ve been lied to twice about its arrival.
Experiencia negativa: My last two visits to gamestops have left me with a bad taste in my mouth, the last time I went in I purchased a console and denied an extended warranty. The manufacturer warranty was sufficient but the employee argued with me for a solid 5 minutes about how I NEEDED it, today I went in and decided to pick up a hasbro blacks series stormtrooper helmet. I finally get to check out and then have my time wasted by another female employee going on about how I just HAVE to sign up for some rewards program, I multiple times said “not today, I’m good. And No” and she kept pushing it. This went on for a couple minutes and I contemplated just walking away without making a purchase since these employees are incapable of taking no for an answer. After getting through this transaction i very well may never step foot in a GameStop again. I’m tired of dealing with your car salesman employees, when customers say no. That means no. That doesn’t mean no 7 times.
Experiencia negativa: This location never fails to disappoint. I’m officially over this location and GameStop in general. Worst staff ever. Not accommodating to everyone. Tried to buy a game and was told that it wasn’t in stock. This was after another store confirmed that this store had the game I was looking for.
Experiencia negativa: Bought a new console and they had a promotion going on when you buy a new console you get a free 12 month pro membership free. The guy with the fake eyeball said the promotion had ended but the other guy at the GameStop at campbell and coit said otherwise. But i didn't really care because i rarely buy at GameStop. Most of my purchases are digital anyway. I might have considered buying at GameStop for the next 12 months if i gotten the free membership but oh well their loss.
Experiencia negativa: This place often isn't open on time. It's supposed to open at noon on Sundays, but it's rarely open by then.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience yesterday at this location. I recently bought Resident Evil 4 remake for the PS4 and the game wouldn't play on my console because my optic reader is not working properly. The store rep refunded me for the difference and for the game trade-in credits. I wasn't expecting to get the trade-in credits back and it really made my day. I know Gamestop gets a bad rep sometimes, but they really went above and beyond to make me happy. Thank you so much Gamestop for looking out for your customers.
Experiencia negativa: Whoever was running the store Saturday March 4 was very rude and basically threw the bag at us when we came to pick up our game. But she gave us a brand new copy of Dead Space when I ordered a pre owned one off the site so that was pretty cool

Experiencia negativa: We bought a ps5 a few months back with a warranty. Our house burned down and we lost everything. The manager told my wife multiple times that they would replace the PS5. We had photos of the house fire. The store manager went to ring up the console but his district manager stepped in and denied the transaction. So now my children don’t have their console (right before Christmas). My wife is crying her eyes out because she now has to tell the children that she cannot replace what was lost in our fire. I will never do bud with these thieves again!

Experiencia fantástica: Been coming to this location since 09’. They have always been helpful and courteous everytime I have come In to the store even on the days I’m just window shopping. Super thanks again for doing the pro member early day to get a PS5. It was seem less and easy to do and it made it worth it to be a pro member on that alone. Was able to get a bundle for my little brother who couldn’t get one for ages since it came out. Keep doing what y’all are doing and I will continue to be loyal since the first day I walked in. ;)
Experiencia negativa: The female clerk lied to me about having a PS5 in stock, when 2 different stores, looked at there stock to tell me they had 4 in stock. The clerk said they had stocking issues, and that I should have called before coming to the store.... i expressed that called 2x before driving from Irving, they didnt answer the phone.... if the other stores said they had one or 2 in stock, ok... i could live with stock issues, maybe they just sold it the night before, but 4........ i personally think she just didnt want to sell to me
Experiencia fantástica: Big shout out to Eirik,(I believe that it is pronounced as Eric) the store personnel. His customer service was outstanding. He is so very friendly, patient, and very engaging. He even caught a couple of savings that I could take advantage of during my checkout. Even without the savings, it still would have a great experience. Please promote this guy. This is the best customer service that I have encountered in a very long time. Thanks Eirik!

Experiencia negativa: The guy was trying to sell me the last Xbox Series X bundle he had in store, when I was speaking to my girlfriend about buying it and what I can do with it he says that I have to be a rewards member in order to purchase it. He said this when I was about to buy it after I was talking about it with my girlfriend, I looked him in his eyes and he I knew he was not telling the truth. He said this because I mentioned about selling it. I later had my friend walk in about 15 minutes ago and buy the same exact console without him having to be a rewards member. Guy was not very smart.

Had a bad experience with the manager who would keep insisting I add different things to my checkout and even adding things to my checkout without me agreeing to them. Wouldn’t let me finish speaking once she had gone on all her tangents and repeating the same things over and over while not taking no for an answer until I had to tell her multiple times I wasn’t interested.

Experiencia positiva: I like the fact that this place is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly too. I came here is because my son loves it here. He always wanted to check to see if Game Stop has brought in new action figures. I just love the environment. But their items are not cheap, well at least not for me. But if anyone doesn't mind the price, this is definitely the to go place for video games and figures.

Experiencia fantástica: I want to give a shout out to "Kathryn" for the spectacular customer service I received today. Thank you "Ryan" as well for the support you gave us. I wanted to sell my Ps4 with a few games for about 300 bucks online as a bumdle, but decided to give GameStop a try first. To my surprise I almost marked 400 in store credit. I thank the associates mentioned because they guided me through the process and answered my plethora of questions (I felt no pressure at all). Thanks again for the provided service; I'll surely be back soon.

Go somewhere else... even Best Buy would be be better, they have the same things and more. Don’t forget bestbuy also does deals which GameStop never does. Grew up getting games here but this recent time I was there changed my mind completely.

I know some GameStop staff tend to have a weird ego and pretend your tastes and knowledge is inferior; not here. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Right, so the size of this place matters because they carry more collectibles and swag when compared to other GameStop. During Covid-19, a lot of the floor is empty, but I still found a rare Transformers figure here. After 1 visit, this location became my favorite GameStop even though it's the 3rd closest one to me.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff who can give you educated and enthusiastic opinions. The already large store being connected to Barnes and Noble is a plus for gamers that also play D&D or other rpg/board/card games, or who want anything else manga/anime related.
Experiencia negativa: Went over the weekend to ask about the new animal crossing Nintendo Switch console, had some general questions about pre-order and if they would have any the official day they came out. The black man who helped us was friendly, but his white coworker interrupted me while I was asking a question, luckily the guy helping us stepped in and told him to let me finish asking my question. While, I understand that they probably got a ton of questions throughout the week about the new animal crossing console, it still doesn’t mean interrupt us when we are asking a completely different question than what he assumed we were going to ask. Customer service was bad, they act annoyed to do their jobs and I get that it can be frustrating to be asked the same questions all week, it still doesn’t excuse how they treat those who haven’t asked those questions yet, it’s a part of the job and it’s the basis of customer service..
