Experiencia negativa: Very rude customer service, I called with intention of buying a PS5 but the first words that came out from the worker's mouth was "You have been calling 5 times, and no we do not have pokemon card and stop calling" I had no intenion about buying anything related to pokemon, I just wanted a PS5 and he hang the phone on me.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to this GameStop for years. The staff are super helpful, especially during my retro DS game hunt! They're also more relaxed than other GameStop I've been too. Here, I don't feel pressured to buy unnecessary things and they're very straightforward about store policies! Update: I read the other reviews and it appears that Brittanae doesn't work at this GameStop anymore. I haven't seen her the past few months I visited.

Experiencia negativa: Idc about customer service, I was in and out for an Xbox one x on hold and it was quick and easy, minimal chatter, cool with me. What was awful was the condition of the Xbox. It was filthy, the vents were sticky with an orange hue, dusty all over and in every crevice, the panel with the ports was loose and sticking out on one corner, and even peeking into the side vents I could see sticky gunk inside the console. They didn't even check the disc slot, it had a game still inside it when I booted it up! Was a newer Call of Duty so free game, but shows what little they did to check on this console. The controller had a couple buttons sticking and staying pushed in. I attacked the whole thing with a bristle brush, Q-tip and a light dab of 70% isopropyl alcohol to try and work with it but overall I was concerned about the inside of the console and how long I had until it starts to overheat and die on me due to improper care and cleaning. I ended up returning it. I thought GameStop was supposed to clean and check if these things worked before reselling or maybe this location is just lazy, other pre-owned consoles I've bought at different GameStops were always in way better condition, at the very least cleaned.

Kids constantly prank call this store and drunk adult customers who can’t read no loiter or stand in road are frequently nasty to the women who work here . This store has amazing staff members , always try to help you despite customers being nasty or violent while you just trying to shop they are MEAN to staff. I hope everyone is okay!. The store off DNT told me this store had emergency closing due to an employee being careflight to hospital! Hope he come back soon

Experiencia negativa: I recently had the displeasure of visiting GameStop and was appalled by the horrendous level of customer service I received. From the moment I entered the store, it was clear that the lady staff were disinterested and unhelpful. Not only was the lady rude and dismissive, but they also seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than assisting customers. When I tried to ask a question about a game, I was met with eye rolls and sighs, as if my mere presence was an inconvenience to them. Overall, my experience at GameStop was extremely disappointing, and I will not be returning. I urge others to steer clear of this store if they value good customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. GameStop needs to seriously reevaluate their approach to customer care if they want to retain any semblance of a loyal customer base.
Experiencia negativa: I literally will never come to this location every again, due to Miss Brittanae and I know it has to be a MISS . She is a fast talker, racks up your total, adding a bunch of extras , without your knowledge . Then, when I said how did I buy something $15 and the total is $63? she said your son wanted funkopops & to be like a pro gamestop member of $20? i said where are the funkos he wants i didnt even see him look at one ? she said oh its a preorder itll be ready in september. I said well he is 5 and doesn’t understand that so take it off please, ( mind you she added 4 funko pops to my order ) new total $27 i said okay wth is going on , she said well your son really wants this one, and i about lost it and i recorded everything and she was playing with my money and shorted me $3 .. i never had this problem with any one else here !! you can see in the photo 1 of the 3times she had to refund me if you look at the scanner and this is her!

Every time, they got my pre-orders, and every time they have held them for me. Haven't got a single reason to complain, and they are always fair to each of the customers that come in. Best gamestop to go for orders and items, just ask and they'll help!
Experiencia negativa: I wanted to buy a new controller for my switch. The whole time I was looking at controllers I was getting harassed for my number to look up my membership. When I went to check out the woman who was harassing me for my number said I couldn’t make the purchase without having a phone number put into the system. I literally just left. I’ve never felt so I unwelcomed in a store before and looking over the reviews I can see I’m not the only one. I went to a different GameStop down the road where I clearly was able to make a purchase without a membership.

Experiencia negativa: This is worst location in Texas. Usually when I bring my teens here it’s usually a guy here that’s really nice and professional. But the last 3 times I’ve came. It’s a short Caucasian lady that has the worst attitude. And her customer service towards Black Teens is appalling. Not to mention she is noted my autistic son. I hate to bash businesses but this lady is really rude. So today my son wanted to get a gift card and my daughter and son came to the door and the door was locked. So they came back to the car and said mom it’s 3:30 and it’s closed. I asked them are they sure and they said yes ma’am. The lady looked at us then got back on the phone. So at this point I would not recommend anyone ever coming to this location. And I’m surprised because the men here are very professional.

I walked in for a brand new Xbox series x the lady informs me that they have it she could give me a great deal I’m like ok cool so then she rings me up and the total is $504 so I’m assuming it’s a new Xbox . I paid first just for the associate to walk over to the Pre - owned case and grab a used Xbox which is priced at $430 they tried to sell me warranties and subscriptions I did not need which she tried to tell me was included in the price as well I quickly told her I don’t want the product if it’s not new , she then continues to try to convince me that I’m getting the best deal possible which I know is inaccurate due to the pricing , as well as the promos that were not mentioned were extra charges without knowledge I told the associate I can buy a brand new one practically the same price she then mentioned well if you do that you will be paying $150 more . I drove to another gamestop it was $514 brand new sealed the box Moral of the story don’t try to play people .

She wouldn’t let me choose the specific item I wanted and was literally trying to call another employee to ask about me because I said I’ve worked at another GameStop. She was rude the the customer in front of me as well and the second I walked in I felt a hostile vibe. She definitely should not be managing a store. She even came out side after me to try and take a picture of me so she could show the co worker I said I knew. I almost called the police but I kept calm. She definitely needs to get training in customer service.
Experiencia negativa: I recently moved to the area and this is the nearest location. It’s brought me to officially cancel my GameStop pro membership after 20+ years. Between raising prices and generally having a bad experience every time I set foot in this store I’ll be looking to Best Buy or Target for my physical copies of games. One of the staff who works here is one of the rudest and most condescending people I’ve ever dealt with in a retail setting. I worked at a GameStop during college and understand some of the stresses of the job including generally being the only person in the store and a lack of overall support from corporate and possibly your DM. The first time I interacted with her I assumed it was maybe a rough day, but it has legitimately been every single time I have stepped foot in the store and seen her behind the counter. On top of rudeness and general unpleasantness the store will also frequently close or not be open during regular business hours, or say something is in stock online but you will be told they don’t have it or it is on hold if you go in to get it. Go to the Lewisville location or the one slightly farther down Josey at the Beltline and Josey intersection if you really want to go to a GameStop.

They normally ask me if I want to purchase a 1 year warranty and I usually say no. This time they just added it without even asking and I didn’t notice it until I got home. Sign outside listed the store as open and the business hours on Google says it should be open. Theres not even the courtesy to put up a makeshift sign to let customers know when the store will reopen. Reserve games here at your own risk, you may not get to play it on release date.

I would definitely recommend stopping by this location seeing how well informed and helpful he was!

I called to ask about the price of the xbox 1’s, and the employee who shall not be named let me know there’s currently another customer he was helping. I told him no worries, and waited on hold. For twenty seven minutes. I called back, and my call was ignored. I don’t know how busy a GameStop can be at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday but all I needed to know was a 1 minute worth response. Very slow location.

She held it up and had both hands locked on it with a death grip. I politely asked if I could see it more closely, and she just said "it's right here" without budging. Never felt like I needed to leave a review like this before. Just ridiculous. Store in Lewisville across from the mall is super friendly, though. Go there instead to save frustration.

I have never met anyone in a management position that was this immature, lazy, and just out of control. If you want to have a genuinely good experience at a Game Stop, I highly recommend going to any other location in the area (and yes, they are all aware of this problem and will steer you away from this location). I’m sad because this is the most convenient location for me to go to, but I’d rather spend my gas and time going to any of the others just to not have to deal with Brittany and her attitude.

Experiencia negativa: Brought my daughter in to blow some birthday cash around 8pm what started off as a good interaction with female employee who tended to us on the sales floor took a bad turn when we were paying. We were given the incorrect amount of change and after explaining to Benjamin how his math was incorrect he got a sour attitude and tossed my daughters change on the counter. I feel like that was completely inconsiderate, rude, and unnecessary as we were polite throughout the whole transaction. I left feeling very angry especially after my daughter asked why he acted in the manor he did. Having worked in retail for around 10 years I have never once treated a customer the way I was treated and have never thrown or tossed any customers money on the counter. If this is the attitude he gives a mom and a child then maybe retail shouldn’t be your career path. Benjamin completely ruined my daughters first time at GameStop and if this is how customers are treated no need to return .

I have also seen her try to help every one as best as she can whenever anyone comes into the store.. Kaz and Ben are also cool as well. There is this one character named michelle who keeps the store lively. All and all everyone here tries to help everyone out as best as they can

Experiencia negativa: Do not go to this Gamestop. The manager Brittanae is disrespectful towards others. I tried to get a refund the other day for a game I pre-ordered and paid for in full. The receipt said chip failed, and refund never posted to my bank. I noticed this after a couple of days, so I went back to the store and asked an associate if they could see what happened. The associate Lorena was super nice and answered all my questions. Lorena recommened me to call the corporate number and even highlighted the phone number on my refund receipt, so corporate could look into it. She escalated my refund issue to the manager Brittanae. Brittanae said that refunds can take up to two weeks to post to the bank. I calmly told her that other stores post refunds within 2 to 3 business days and told her Home Depot processed my refund instantly. I asked what can be done to get my $130 back for my games because I'm concerned it won't go through since my receipt said chip failed. Brittanae quickly became aggressive, interrupting and argumentative towards me. Brittany raised her voice and yelled, "Chip failed doesnt mean anything. We can not do anything about your refund since it is still processing, and can take up to 14 days for our system to process. We are not Home Depot. We do not have the same system as that store. If you have a problem with this, then you can dispute it with your bank!" She saw that I wad trying to get a word in, but kept interrupting. I immediately left to avoid further confrontation. I felt attacked and disrespected by Brittanae. If she had calmly explained this to me rather than yelling for the whole store to hear, I would have been satisfied, but her attitude and yelling caused other customers turn and look, and I quickly felt unwelcome so I left. Not going back there.

I came from out of town for personal reason and had time to stop at this GameStop for a specific Funko pop I was looking for. A previous GameStop I stoped by told me they had three of the Funko pop in stocked. I’m a collector so I like them to be in the best condition possible. I walk in see the 3 Funko pops, two of them in reach and third was on the top shelf out of reach. The two I could reach clearly had damage without even picking them up, but for the third I couldn’t tell. I then proceeded to ask if I can look at the top one. She replied saying “ you can look at the other two”. I then told her I need to look at the condition of the top one, because the others had damage. She then replied saying “ there products are in the best condition”. A clear lie to me the customer. I asked again just to repeat myself, because she was lazy not to get a ladder for it. So I left in mid conversation, because how unprofessional for them to do deny a customer to look at a product. The employee should be dealt with immediately
Experiencia negativa: I used to love GameStop until this store. Usually the people who work are are nice kind hearted gamers like me. The person working there was so rude. She thinks she's confident because she talks a little loud but in reality she's very rude. I tried to trade in my game console yesterday and I wanted to see the price that I'll get. When the price came out to be lower than I thought, I said no I'll take my console back. Her attitude changed after that. She didn't even give me my bag back (for my PS5) until I asked her. I then bought a online gift card and asked her how to use it. Her answer was "it's at the bottom of the receipt!" I asked do I get a physical card for the online gift card but again she reiterated "it's at the bottom of the receipt!" Being nice isn't really that hard. Maybe it is for some people. After this behavior yesterday, I'm done with GameStop. Y'all lost me as a customer bc of that rude individual at this location. Thank God I didn't buy anymore product from you guys. I'm going to buy all my games either online or another location.

I called the Dm (no help at all) and she called the employee and said she got stuck in traffic and needed 15 more freaking minutes. So did she pass all the other banks that were close. Experiencia negativa: So, my boyfriend purchased a gaming chair through the Carrollton location that was never received. We contacted Customer Service and was advised to go back to the location the purchased happened and they will refund the funds. They said if the store does not know how to do it , have them contact Customer Service for help. He goes to the store and was advised that the store cannot do the refund and we needed to contact Customer Service. I advised that Customer Service told him to come there and they said to have you call to rectify the situation. She stated I don't know what to tell you because we can't do the refund. So, he leaves the store and drives back home with nothing resolved. I contact Customer Service again and explained what happened and what we experience. He reaches out to the store and they have the nerve to put a stipulation that only one of us can come in the store regarding the refund. I told them if your employee would have done her job right the right time, there wouldn't have been a need to come back AGAIN!!. Somebody, please tell me what has happened to customer service. Are people forgetting if it wasn't for the customer, the store wouldn't be in business.
Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely amazing customer service! These guys have a better inventory than many other GameStop locations I've been to. But most of all, BOTH of the gentlemen working here this afternoon went above and beyond what anyone would expect to provide an excellent customer experience. We bought quite a few pokemon items and when the system had issues finding my account, they made up for it with a couple of free Pikachu holo cards. 100% will give more business to this store!

Experiencia negativa: I used to love this GameStop but they have gone downhill so much in the last couple of months. I went in about two weeks ago to buy some trading cards and I stood at the counter for about 15-20 minutes while the employee talked on her cell phone the entire time and never even acknowledged me. I finally just put the cards back on the shelf and walked out. I went tonight and there is a sign on the door saying “We’ll be right back”. It was almost 7pm when I got there and they weren’t supposed to close until 9. I waited for about 30 minutes and they never came back. I’m just going to cancel my pre-orders and get them from Amazon. That is, if I can actually get them to help me to issue the refunds on the deposits.
Experiencia negativa: Very dissatisfied with the short girl there known as Brittane. She was very rude (this not being the first time) she lied to me about a minor policy and that I couldn't be in there without a guardian, when there is no sign posted on the door about this so called "policy". Corporate said they had never heard of this. She should be fired and the district manager Sean, should know about her.
Experiencia negativa: They don't have time to make money. That's why these lazy gamer boys won't have jobs for very long. It's not like he has a hot date to get to. We want to purchase a game before they close and he doesn't have time. I hope the owner knows that his employees don't want to make money for the company. If he has any financial stake in the company like a paycheck, he shouldn't have a job there.
Experiencia fantástica: The sale associate Brittanae went above and beyond and make sure to contact me after I had actually walked out without taking my game that I had preordered and paid for. I always come to this locations cause it's close and I never really had bad experience on stuff.

Experiencia fantástica: Brittnae (i’m sure that’s her name, she’s the blonde) was such a sweet associate and helped me find everything I needed! She also helped me save some money on some video games I came in to buy, I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Brittnae for your INCREDIBLE service, this was the best service I have received in a very long time. Thank you once again.
Experiencia negativa: After waiting in line for 30 min just to find out they don’t carry a single copy of the new game on release date … this is unheard of. Off to Target because they still have 10 available.
Experiencia fantástica: The manager was very friendly and helpful! I felt like she was invested in making sure everyone was helped properly. There was a special event today that they were getting ready for, so the line was a bit slower than normal. The only thing that may have improved was that a worker was putting streamers up for the upcoming event when she might have helped with the line, but it wasn't that bad.
Experiencia negativa: Took them 30 minutes to checkout one headset they had in their hands because they’d rather spend 20 minutes telling me about a rewards deal I told them I wasn’t interested in. Ended up paying 99$ for a 59$ headset. Yeah
Experiencia negativa: Super shady management, prices not as advertised - yes, even with the NEW management. Went to purchase an item from clearance marked at 3.97. When register rang up 5.99, Manager "thanked" me for pointing out the "incorrect" sticker price and refused to honor. She was QUITE rude about it to, was not at all apologetic. I'm less concerned about a $2 discount as much as I am about the incorrect information, unwillingness to honor their mistake, and rude and unapologetic attitude

Experiencia negativa: TERRIBLE experience at this GameStop. I received misinformation to come early for a prerelease, and so when I arrive, I’m trying to ask the worker about the prerelease, but the dude won’t even open the door to tell me that the information was wrong. Instead, I had to call the store when I’m literally standing outside for him to just tell me that the information was wrong and instantly hangs up. I don’t understand what would be so hard for him to have told me that when I tried going in and clear the mistake. Instead was met with a very rude attitude and terrible customer service.
