Experiencia negativa: Came at opening to pre order console and was told I could not I had to pay full price and it would be shipped to my house I was in shock because prior to that. I was told two days prior it would be $50 I was confused but the customer in front of pre ordered for $50 but for some reason me and the guy behind me was told we have to pay the full price to pre order ps me and the other guy who was told he couldn’t pre order with out paying for the console in full today were both black guys still confused

Experiencia negativa: I want to personally point out Rackel as being one of the worst employees and racist woman we have ever come across in a "professional" setting. My boyfriend (tall black male) went into Gamestop in Sheridan Plaza Hollywood, Fl to trade in some controllers and games today 2/16/24 at 4:11pm. Rackel was rude, arbitrarily found his items "defective", and flat out lied to him. Not only that, when he asked to see an item he wanted to purchase, Rackel held the item in her hands close to her body as if he were trying to steal the item. He could not hold it himself apparently. "Small smudges" on the case (her words by the way) were enough to call whole items defective. He cleaned these items before he left for the store. But fair, if you see a "small smudge" Rackel, then there's a small smudge.. she then told him that he could trade in a console for the item he wanted. He did not have the console with him so he drove all the way home and drove all the way back to the store with the console SHE had told him earlier that he could trade in! He brought along two unopened games to trade in as well. When Rackel saw him with the console and the games she changed her mind and told him that he could not trade in the console. She also claimed that Gamestop would not take games that were still in their original wrapping...this is when my boyfriend asked to see the item he wanted and Rackel would not let him touch it. He ended up going to Gamestop at the Tower Shops on university drive the same day and had absolutely no problems with any of the items. Thank you Patrick for all your help and reassuring my boyfriend who was really confused as to why he was treated so poorly at the previous store. I want to make sure that Rackels actions don't go unnoticed and she doesnt get the opportunity to treat other like she treated him.

Experiencia negativa: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Just walked out of this gamestop. I went in on 12/29/23, at 8:40PM. The website said the store closed at 9pm, but as soon as I walked, the lady working yelled out “Just so you know, I close in 9 minutes (8:50)”. I already knew I was looking for Spiderman 2 and brought the box to the register. Before handing her the box, with the worst attitude ever stated, “SOLD OUT! You have to preorder. Thats why it’s on the preorder shelf”. I didn’t hesitate to just put the box down and leave. I didn’t feel like dealing with her for another second. What a shame that this business will probably lose more customers because of such disgusting employees.

Experiencia negativa: I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at GameStop, which was unfortunately marked by a particularly unpleasant interaction with a staff member. The employee, a shorter lady, exhibited a demeaning and controlling demeanor, insisting on dictating to me the manner in which I should use my credit card. Her approach was not just unhelpful but exceedingly rude. To add to the frustration, whenever I inquired about a product, she would curtly reply that it was out of stock, and she had no knowledge of when it would be available again. It was evident that she severely lacks basic customer service skills, making this one of the worst retail interactions I have experienced. A visit that should have been straightforward and enjoyable was transformed into a vexing and unpleasant ordeal due to her unprofessional conduct. This type of service is unacceptable and certainly not conducive to repeat business.

Experiencia negativa: I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at GameStop on Sheridan St in Hollywood, Florida, all thanks to a team member named Suki. In my years of shopping at GameStop, I have never encountered such a disdainful and unenthusiastic employee. Suki's complete lack of interest in their job was evident from the very beginning, leaving me utterly dissatisfied. The ordeal began with a phone call, a staggering 2.5 hours after placing an online order for a game system pick-up. Suki's response was nothing short of rude, as they dismissively stated that it takes time to fulfill orders, typically around 45 minutes to an hour. I calmly explained that it had already been 2.5 hours, but it seemed to make no difference. To my surprise, within 30 minutes of the call, I received an email stating that my order was finally filled. When I arrived at the store, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, primarily due to Suki's demeanor. As I approached the counter to pick up the game system I had ordered online, Suki didn't even bother to turn around or acknowledge my presence. Instead, she barked orders at me, demanding to see my driver's license, all while busying themselves with organizing products behind the counter. The lack of basic courtesy was truly disheartening. Against my better judgment, I attempted to engage Suki in a few questions about the products related to the system I was purchasing. However, any hope of receiving assistance or even a semblance of decent customer service quickly faded away. Suki displayed a severe attitude problem, making it abundantly clear that my inquiries were an inconvenience to her. Suki's unprofessional behavior was a stark contrast to what one would expect from a GameStop employee. Needless to say, the combination of Suki's dismissive attitude, lack of knowledge, and poor customer service made me rethink my decision to purchase additional games and the GameStop membership. It was clear that Suki had no interest in assisting customers or fostering a positive experience. I strongly believe that Suki could greatly benefit from training in customer service, handling customer inquiries, and gaining a better understanding of the store's products. Her overall lack of professionalism and knowledge severely impacted my visit, leaving me with no desire to return to this particular GameStop location. In conclusion, my encounter with Suki at the GameStop on Sheridan St, Hollywood, Florida was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a GameStop store. Her evident disdain for her job, along with ther disrespectful and unhelpful attitude, made my visit extremely unpleasant. I sincerely hope that GameStop takes the necessary steps to improve customer service at this location and ensures that employees like Suki receive the training they so desperately need. On a side note, leaving half a star should be an option.

She was very knowledgeable and told us about all different option in screen sizes and features. She was really patient and helped us make our decision. Really appreciated her effort. Experiencia negativa: HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE. Sat outside for 30 mins while employee was in the back. She came to open the door yelling at me and my friend accusing us of slamming the door around and said she was watching us on camera. Very hostile. Also if you saw us on camera waiting outside come open the door. If I’m coming to spend money at your business don’t welcome me by yelling in my face.

Experiencia fantástica: My son begged me to come in and I was reluctant because I always buy the used games on eBay however he told me it’s the same price. I went into Gamestop and Eddie came right up to me to help me and my son out with the games and he was extremely knowledgeable and sure enough The games were actually cheaper used and they price match everything so I never need to order a game online again and they have such a huge selection. Keanu checked us out pretty quickly and I look forward to coming back.

Experiencia negativa: I will never shop here again!! They sell used broken equipment and label it as "refurbished". I bought a PS4 Refurbished bundle and they shipped it with a bad controller and a bad game disc that wont install. They wont take it back because of their 30 day policy has been exceeded by 2 days because it was a gift and wasnt opened after 2 weeks from purchase. Not really concerned about customer satisfaction at all. This isnt the first time either. About 2 years ago I bought a "refurbished" PS3 and had to bring that back too because it was broken. So now im stuck spending $$ on another controller and another game disc which brings me to a point where I could of just bought it brand new and saved money. Thanks Game Stop. I would of picked no stars if it was an option.

Experiencia fantástica: Very honest to their customers regarding what's a good price and not. Saw a guy go in and ask if a ps4 slim is good for the price they were selling. Probably would have bought. But the individual working said it wasn't, for the sake of being honest to the guy about the price. Even suggested that third party you could buy a ps4 pro for lower than 200. This kind of honesty towards a man just wanting to make his kids happy is what I loved seeing and look for.
