Experiencia negativa: Watch out for this location. Items are displayed at one price, but you may be charged a higher amount at checkout because, according to them, “the promotion ended.” It’s disappointing to see a business try to take advantage of customers this way. The game I picked up from the shelf was clearly marked at $49.99, but when I went to pay, I noticed the total was about $30 higher than expected. When I questioned the clerk, he claimed they had “forgotten to update the label.” What’s worse is that he didn’t disclose the price difference before completing the transaction. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Definitely one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a GameStop.

Experiencia fantástica: Man o man, i spent the last 2 weeks before Christmas looking for a Pokemon set or pack for my son he’s 8going on 9 in April. Got out of work at 5 pm i work On biscayne and 135th and live in Hollywood and i went To every store I thought would have Pokemon cards on the way to Hollywood and i told My gf stop here stop here stop here even i was Annoyed at myself , then it dawned on me “GAMESTOP DUHHH” long story short, not only did Orion help me pick something good for my son with the Pokemon cards but he also brought cards out of his own collection to give to my son for Christmas, may not seem like something crazy but i used To collect Pokemon cards yugioh beyblades magic and action figures i know When i was Into it there was no way I’d give parts of my collection away for anybody this bro brought out cards from his own collection protected and sealed for my son never met me not even in a painting but this man went all out for my son, he then asked me to bring him by the next day…..this man gave him a box of cards on top of the pieces he had already given him…..faith in humanity restored respect for collectors restored and faith in people for me, restored needless to say I’m not going anywhere but to this GameStop anytime i need anything game wise and i know My son will never forget it my son is on the lower spectrum of autism and adhd and his words as we walked out after meeting Orion were “ man that guy was very giving, i am Very appreciative of him and his kindness, he gave me some good cards and a whole box” i have Never heard my son speak so clearly and firm and it just goes to show how a small gesture can go so far thank Orion for making my sons Christmas one he will never forget

Experiencia negativa: The store smells like mold is in the carpet and it smells disgusting I can’t even begin to believe that they have their employees working like this all day so bad for their health , secondly not a single soul was able to give me a new Nintendo switch after I purchased one back in October the warranty didn’t transfer from one switch to the other because it’s a one time use warranty maybe they should say that instead of it’s a one year warranty it’s a scam and I’ll just continue to buy online the store looks like a mess for the little bit of traffic they get in here

Experiencia negativa: The WORST EXPERIENCE. I preordered a game I’ve been waiting 4 years to come out. A month in advance so I could pick up the hard copy early and play with the early access. The guy looked up my old membership and started asking me for my address. I thought to update all my information. But NO. He was setting me up for an online order so he could hit his numbers without me knowing. So when we were done with paying he tells me the game will be shipped. Which is NOT what I wanted. I told him this and he said OOPS TOO LATE. It’s already done. Now the game is about to come out and I’m gonna get the game delivered after the release date. So all the extra money I spent for early access is in the trash. After talking to a manager apparently he lied because he wanted his bonus. They could have changed it right there but no. They said it’s too late. Now I’m screwed. Never going to GameStop again. What’s the point? So I can be lied to and manipulated. 20 years of being a customer and for what???!!!!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I made two preorders in the gamestop of hollywood beach (assassins creed mirage and starfield) but i had to move for another city, and to my surprise is impossible to employees of this store make any gift cards, even though I'm physically in the store closest to my house and the store clerk is talking to them. The hollywood gamestop will only accept a refund if I go to their store in person, which means 1 hour of travel to recover 10 dollars. That's ridiculous! I don't recommend it, they are not flexible and don't help at all, they have my money and making it difficult to return it.

They are very unprofessional and does not care about their customers who come there. Experiencia fantástica: Haven't been to this location in years. My son just started getting into playing game consoles. He's playing the Wii U, so we went in looking for more games. I asked where the wii U games were, and the guy said they pulled them, and are no longer selling wii U stuff. Then he said, let me see what I have in the back. He came back with 4 games that were going to be sent back to the manufacturer. Just so happened that 3 of the 4 games I was looking to purchase. My son was SUPER happy they had the games. I do have to say, the worker was absolutely awesome! He didn't have to do what he did. I ended up purchasing all 4 of the games. I hadn't planned on leaving a review, but I felt it was necessary to give praise to the dude behind the counter. I'll be going back there more often now.

And I arrived at the store to pick up the order and “Michelle” if that’s even her name, the “Manager” refused to let me take the order due to the customers ID not being shown. She was very nasty and rude. If you guys are going to be on doordash then you need to allow things to get done. It’s a inconvenience for everybody. And the customer service was at an all time zero.

Experiencia negativa: One of the worst shopping experiences ever! Beware of the angry woman with dreads who works behind the counter. Bitter, condescending and has some kind of chip on her shoulder. I went in with my son ready to buy a Switch Console and she literally yelled at him to fix his mask while he was asking her a question about it. Not to mention her level of aggravation when we were asking questions about the games on the shelf. She yelled, "don't you know they're in alphabetical order!" This person doesn't deserve to work at Game Stop. They're plenty of people who are out of work due to COVID who would gladly take her spot and do a better job! Game Stop needs to do better! Needless to say, if the console wasn't sold out everywhere else, I would not have even bought a thing at this Hollywood store.
