Fantastic experience: Came in right around closing time to resolve a fulfillment error from an online order — not the easiest ask. The associate was alone (his manager had just left for the evening), there were several people in line behind me, and he was clearly still getting his footing as a newer employee. Despite all of that, he handled everything smoothly, got it sorted in about four minutes, and was genuinely apologetic the whole time for how long it was taking — which, for the record, really wasn’t long at all. That kind of patience and effort, especially under those circumstances, doesn’t go unnoticed. This is exactly the type of experience that makes me want to go back to keep supporting a specific store.

Negative experience: So bad is really bad they didn't want to selling me a gta and I have 18 years and they hit me badly.
Negative experience: Made a couple purchases here and the staff is always on a bad mood or not happy to help no matter how polite I act towards them. Made a few pre orders, they state a date and it has been pushed back 3 times now. Called this last time to not go and whoever answered couldn’t wait to dismiss me as they always have an excuse for something and was rude with his tone, couldn’t even get a word out

Positive experience: GameStop used to be a five star experience but they have gotten so political that it's just a exercise off following the rules. So GameStop has been downgraded to three ✨.

Negative experience: All Stores should be open until 9pm everyday some people get off at 8:30pm and need that 9pm to pre order!
Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service! The staff went out of their way to accommodate me, they were friendly and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The item I bought was for a fraction of what I was going to pay online. The other item that they didn't have in stock, they were kind enough to not only find which of their stores had it in stock, but they also gave me a printout with the addresses and phone numbers of the stores that did. It even told me the distance from the store I was at, to each of the locations that had the item in stock.
Negative experience: Won't accept all Pokémon cards. Won't accept PDP xbox controllers. And Doesn't sell replacement parts
Fantastic experience: Great staff. Friendly and they remembered me from a while back, which was impressive. Always great for physical copies.
Negative experience: I went in to trade in some stuff so I can get a PlayStation 5 they signed me up for their subscription service and they sold my information I know they've done this because they misspelled my name and GameStop is the only one who has this misspelling of my name I can see it when I go into my GameStop app account information I have been receiving mail with the misspelling of my name I only shop at GameStop once or twice a year mostly because the service they provide is poor and they also don't really have anything worth buying unless you're willing to trade in your stuff in terrible company

Negative experience: Funny how they can sell you a $60 dollar game and not be able to return it but offer to buy it for $18 as store credit. Never again.

Negative experience: Came in before work and as soon I came in the door the employee ask me if I’m looking for something particular I said no. I’m looking around. Then he said after I help this guy I gotta go to lock up for lunch. What kind of customer service is this. I guess this GameStop don’t want paying customers in the store. He just want food. And dont want to make sales.
Positive experience: This game stop is already, you'll get like a buck 50 for all your games, they'll sell your pre-order before you get a chance to pick it up but the cashier is cool and the figures are decent
Negative experience: BE CAREFUL WHEN PAYING!! Employee RONALD signed me up for the Gamestop Pro membership without my consent. He asked me for a phone number, I gave him my boyfriends (who already has an account), and he explained that I would be getting points for my purchase. I didn’t realize it in the moment but he had agreed to the terms and conditions without my consent on the card thing facing away from me, so I didn’t not see it. Never did he mention the pro membership or its benefits until after I paid, to which I was super confused because I did not sign up for anything, I thought my bf was just going to get points for the purchase. This was deceitful and gross and I will not be shopping at Gamestop anymore. Taking advantage of your customers is ugly.
Fantastic experience: Helpful staff, store is well kept and has about anything a gamer could need. Aside from consoles and games, tons of collectibles. Trading cards, figurines, plushes, cosplay accessories, t-shirts, hats, you name it, they've probably got it. Even saw a Star Trek pizza cutter.
Fantastic experience: Awesome store with friendly staff. Great source for trading cards like yugioh and pokemon. Went in for some card sleeves and bought a couple blister packs that ended up giving a quarter century rare!

Fantastic experience: I went into GameStop looking for a specific game. Alex was the associate at the time. He is amazing, very friendly, very fast, and very knowledgeable. I wanted to buy the game, and he was able to help with the edition I should purchase. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: We went into GameStop today around 2:30pm and we can’t say enough how appreciative we were of the employee working then. I didn’t want to put his name on the review for obvious reasons but he was super awesome to help us with a Gotcha machine fix, helped resolve a disc issue quickly, and was just overall super friendly and courteous! Thank you again for all your help!

Negative experience: Came at 950pm for Robucks card and there was a sign that she left at 745 and would be back in 15 min... the girl was at Five Below and a we waited not knowing she was the employee, she waited, hung outside until we got in the car, she proceeded to take out her key, hurried I side and locked the door immediately with all 5 minutes left... I knocked on the door and she just ignored me... horrible irresponsible people working there... I was just there for 2 $50 Robucks cards... she went shopping the last 15 minutes and still locked 5 minutes early.
Negative experience: I had spoken to a very friendly person about two days ago, I go today to trade two controls for a refurbished control, the clerk had a very negative personality from the the start, let alone was very, very pushy. Now I understand yall could be commission, but when a person says no to the warranty , let it go, there is no need for attitude, which he continued to explain well your two controls dont charge so why not get it, now he did not say it so nicely. The clerk made it uncomfortable to the point that my sister who was with me even asked if it was normal, which led to this review.

Negative experience: If I could I wouldn’t leave stars. My parter and I came in to pick up an order that was placed online on 11/20/21and were handed the wrong product. The ironic part was that the invoice we were also handed had the correct product and was confirmed meaning they had the original product in the first place. When we confronted the man at the counter he had basically told us there was nothing he could do for us and that this location or any others “just don’t have it”. He also didn’t even bother to check for us. The next morning my partner went to another location to return said product and finds what he was originally looking for. Which is especially interesting considering we were told “they’re sold out everywhere”. On his way there he received a call from the this GameStop location which he couldn’t answer because he was driving. A guy named Ronald left a voicemail saying that they had the correct product in store and that my partner could go back and exchange it. Forgetting to hang up Ronald continues to speak now interacting with his coworker Damien. Ronald tells Damien about how he “doesn’t want to deal with people” and “how it’s not hard to order the right thing”( like stated earlier was ordered correctly). They both then continue mocking him for what he bought and Damien eventually says “kill yourself” about my partner. I also work in retail/customer service and trust me I know what it’s like to have a bad day but to be disrespected to that extent is above me or anyone else. Damien and Ronald do not deserve their jobs. Not only are they ungrateful and inconsiderate but they were incredibly unprofessional. My partner deserves an apology and these employees should be terminated.
