Positive experience: Tons of stuff. The woman I spoke to was fairly kind and helpful. I would say my biggest gripe with these stores is the clutter behind the cash wrap. It was hard to determine what was for sale and what wasn’t. There aren’t many chase items in places like these that is worth buying because you can always get it cheaper online but if you’re looking for some bulk games to pass the time and have some old consoles, this is the spot.

Positive experience: I don't understand why they buy items for so cheap they resell for allot for. Very disappointed. This made me look at retro gaming different.i have purchased before good service but the purchase price is why I'm giving this 3 stars

Fantastic experience: Excellent place to find retro games, and to sell your old games, consoles, and movies.

Negative experience: This is the 3rd time I have stopped by this location and they where just closed during their normal listed business hours. No sign saying why, doors locked, lights off, hours sign clearly posted in the window saying they "should" be open. All three times it looked like no-one bothered to show up and even turn on the lights. If they can't get employees to show up and run the store they should reduce their operatiing hours and post the correct times. I won't be wasting my time driving to this location again. Save yourself the headache and go to one of the other locations. I have never had a bad experience at any of the other stores.

Negative experience: Some guy covered in tattoos missing some teeth, for some reason while we were looking around the store, looking at the shirts the guy had a problem with us touching and looking at the shirts, he kicked us out for touching products we were looking to buy and he cussed us out, we were confused since our friend was buying games at the counter

Negative experience: Has an AMAZING selection! And the younger one seems very helpful and kind! The other older guy kind of oversells junk... Told me I had OEM fever, and then proceeded to sell me third-party boxed controllers so I got to find out the D-pad (which I even asked about) has no central pivot. Hence the subtraction of some stars. Overall good little shop though, as long as you KNOW what you want first. Edit: Upon further use, the Wii Remotes have awful connection problems, disconnecting intermittently during gameplay. The speakers barely work and when they do the sound is SO bad you wish they weren't. The motion controls are no where near as precise as the original wii remote, despite them supposedly having Wii Motion Plus inside. And even the pointer feels off, and this is using a Wii Sensor Bar, Wii U Sensor Bar, and even the Wii U Gamepad. The pointer seems to drift at random moments for no reason, and even when working it stutters across the screen poorly detecting the bar. Knocked off another star, because I felt like I was bullied into picking the cheaper option, when I even told the guy I didn't want crappy remotes. OEM fever my arse. Never coming here again.

Negative experience: do not go here at least not when the girl with purple and brown hair is working. she is racist. i went in with my boyfriend today and she continuously followed us around while the other (white) men were able to browse without any issue whatsoever. so disappointed that this is happening in 2025, and truly didn’t expect this from here. do better like genuinely

Negative experience: Thought I purchased a special edition DS lite. Turns out it’s a reshell and I paid over $150. I should have just bought a regular used one. I found out very quickly online that this isn’t real. It was a Japanese exclusive and therefore should not have English or “made in china” on the back. In the moment, I didn’t know what red flags to look for or even consider it wasn’t authentic. It’s a store that offers trade-ins, why would I question it? A shop like this should be capable of recognizing authenticity. Especially considering how easy it was to identify after a quick Google search. I will NEVER shop here again.

Negative experience: This is an awsome store but the manager guy who's always there is always rude and slow to help, I've asked if they have certain games he says they don't without checking and then when I make him check they had it every time he's lazy and always in a bad mood he won't help you and is just overall unfriendly I get its busy some times but it's not an excuse to be rude to people.

Fantastic experience: The guys here are great and very knowledgeable about everything video games. They go above and beyond to help you because they love what they do.

Negative experience: I tried trading in a Sega Genesis model one with all of the cables and only offered $15 for it. Plus when the guy working there handed it back after I refused his offer, I realize he didn’t give me the AV cable back. I asked him about it and he said that I didn’t have it and he used one of his own cables to test it. So he basically stole the AV cable from me.

Positive experience: This location very rarely gets good stuff and I go all the time. I would give them 5 stars if they started using stickers that actually peeled off without requiring me to buy new cases every time.

Negative experience: I’m normally not one to write negative reviews when it’s only a manager as i don’t hold business owners accountable for the mistakes of their employees. This however was kind of a different story. I am hoping the owner sees this and contacts me as the only way I was told I could make contact them is to an email that sends an error when I try to leave a message . The store manager here is incredibly rude and bad at managing his time and the time of his customers. I waited in line for 5 minutes while it was just me my gf and one guy selling stuff to the store. I was told I was next but the manager would need a second to finish the buy. I said no problem, after being acknowledged as next, and seeing no one else in the store I decided to browse the wall displays. I then waited another 15 minutes for the buy to finish. During this time I was silent and patient. Other customers walked in and immediately started to chat with the manager . He then chatted back and talked to them about games they’ve played. They seemed to be regulars as he was pretty familiar with them. After finishing the offer to the guy who was selling I waited near the front counter where the girl who walked in after me tells the manager she just needs two controllers and she will be fast. I had been waiting to be serviced literal feet away from the manger the whole time. When he starts to help her I let him know I was ready and had been waiting. I was ignored. I then placed the games I was holding down, as I no longer felt like my time was valued or business appreciated. The manager willingly chose to play favorites, or chose what was easiest, and quickest for him instead of honoring his word or my time. I escorted my gf out to the car but on the way out verbally said it was ridiculous to wait 20 minutes just to be ignored and have someone cut in front of you. This statement was directed at my gf in response to why were leaving. . I walked my gf to the car and came back in. The manager was on the phone so I waited quietly by th counter to speak to him. When he hung up before I could say anything, he says to me” did you come in here to apologize for that crap” referring to me saying that the waiting and service were ridiculous. This set the tone for the extremely disrespectful and unprofessional conversation that followed. Where the manager pretty much said that his job was too hard and that he couldn’t keep track of who was in line and that even if he told I was next I’m he couldn’t be held to that as he can only handle what he’s given. I had informed him I have no interest in purchasing the games just wanted to find out more about store policy and management structure. He told me he has no boss and that there no one I can call “to try to get him in trouble”. He tried to say that I was accusing him of doing it maliciously or on purpose. When I refuted this by saying I don’t think he did it on purpose, I would never contribute to malice what can be explained with ignorance or incompetence he then said I wasn’t welcome back in the store . I would rather speak to the person who’s money is affected by the loss of business(the owner as I was there to purchase games a game system and controller totaling to over 300 dollarsthese are kept behind the counter so was waiting to be serviced so I could actually ask for my items)not the guy who couldn’t care less how he is treating customers or viewed. He was unable to keep track of who was next was unable to communicate stores policies, was rude dismissive and arrogant This is the gentleman that was rather chubby , face tattoos, bad teeth,, dressed in punk denim. I did not know if he was the manager as my last visit to this store the manager was a Hispanic younger gentlemen with shorter black hair and gauges. That manager had always treated me kindly and fairly. I am hoping this was just a bad day from the mamager and will accept an apology an acknowledgement of wrong doingand a handshake as even. Edit: yeah this place is trash on every account. Never heard from anyone and the place still sucks

Fantastic experience: Amazing shop, great customer service, had the obscure game I’ve been looking for, and he saved my old games from the trash can

Negative experience: I dont like how the people think they can get away trying to give me 15 dollars for a PS3! they just are scam legends i saw them selling it for 100 I gave it to my friend instead dont shop here they are not reasonable and also a clown there tried begging me to take the 15

Negative experience: dont trade in consoles here I did my PlayStation 4 and they offered twenty dollars and I wanted three games there so they tried to lure me into taking the 20 dollars for the three games dont sell anything to them here just sell it on your own you will make a lot more money I cant even believe how they are in business! they will also give you a low price and then sell it high

Negative experience: Terrible customer service from a clown who thought it was cool to get his makeup tattooed on his face. After amassing a collection of over 500 games (literally hundreds of games from fallout) I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: If you're looking for hard to find items, I suggest going here and finding your old systems new again. Especially if you're looking for Atari or anything from the '70s and '80s video games. Highly recommend. Fallout

Negative experience: Awesome shop. Great employees for the most part. Pretty much every game I've purchased has been filthy though. Giving 2 stars because Mike, the store associate, needs an attitude adjustment; he's sarcastic with a hint of condescending. He alienates loyal customers for asking simple questions. His standard for treating customers wouldn't be acceptable any where. I'm surprised with the complaints I've read the owner hasn't fired him yet. I've spent plenty at this store and this isn't the first time I've seen or experienced this guy's attitude 1st hand. It's definitely my "last resort" game shop from now on when all else fails.

Positive experience: I find it frustrating when a retro game store employee acts as if you are inferior simply because you’re asking a question. It doesn’t happen often, but it genuinely sours my experience every time this occurs. I called this store, asked very politely if they had a GameCube game that I’m searching for, and was laughed at. Genuinely laughed at. The employee then proceeded to, without the slightest bit of hesitation, tell me that they did not have what I was asking for and that the game itself was very expensive. I was painfully aware of this prior to making the call, so being made to feel dumb for asking a simple question really puts me off. I’ve visited this store one time in person because it is close to an hour away from me, and I loved it. They had an amazing selection and things were very organized and obviously well taken care of. I can say that this will be the Fallout Games location that I never seek out again after being treated like a dumb child for asking someone to do their job.

Positive experience: I came in the other day thinking that I was going to find just another run of the mill game store I was completely wrong. Fallout games that generally surprised me with their overall collection of video games action figures and accessories. I was able to get some old video games for my Xbox 360 that I thought I was going to have to order online. Turned out they even had the original Xbox that I thought was pretty cool for a reasonable price now I know what you thinking that the original Xbox who would want that but for me it was an affordable way just to not fill up all the space in my Xbox One x. Well the price was great even the games were even better All the games came with the actual booklets along with a crystal clear quality to the game meaning that the game had no scratches and I didn't have to worry about that because they even buffered the game before even selling it to me their systems were in excellent condition already pre-wiped cleaned and I didn't have to worry about any drift stick with the controllers. I even decided to trade in some of my old games that I had lying around and got an amazing deal for some in-store credit though they did offer me cash too which I found surprising. Fall games has been another vintage game store that I absolutely love while they also have modern games I will be back in the future thank you to fallout games for my new Xbox I look forward to finding amazing new titles that I thought were long and gone. On a side note also check out all their old school accessories and new modern ways to connect your old gaming systems need a old game cube controller they probably got one need a new controller for that Nintendo 64 they definitely got those rumble packs and so much more Go to fallout games for all the missing accessories that you are missing or could only imagine having.

Negative experience: I went to this store and there was a guy and a lady sales clerk, the guy proceeded to assist me and my family with buying a Nintendo wii. There was another family in front of us and we waited while and watched how he explained everything to them and test out their game that they were purchasing for them. Me and my family thought okay this will go smooth. Now that it’s our turn they guy proceeded to shove the Nintendo wii into the box me and my mom asked him twice if he was going to test it and he said “no if it doesn’t work just return it” . He treated me and my family very differently he had no customer service and was extremely rude. When we went home the console was not working and the kids were so disappointed. This could’ve been avoided if that guy would just take the time out to test it out and not treat all the other customers better than me and my family.

Fantastic experience: I took my niece and nephew there to find games. They ended up getting a used play station console, games and accessories for a great deal. The gentleman who helped them was wonderful. After we left my nephew told me he was the owner. Highly recommended for gaming needs.

Fantastic experience: The guy that helped us out was great. My daughters xbox1 stopped turning on so we ordered a new power supply on Amazon that had a lot of good reviews. Plugged it in the the Xbox and no dice, still didn't work so we figured the xbox was toast. We went to Fallout Games and he sold us a just a used console since we had everything else, Ex, power cord, controllers, etc. And for a really good price. Got home plugged in the new console and still nothing. We took it back up there and he figured out it was our power cord because he used one of his cords and it turned right on. So he was nice enough to give us one of his. Got home and plugged it into our old Xbox and it turned right on! Since there are no refunds he agreed to take his back and give us a store credit. Great customer service. We will always use Fallout Games for all of our future gaming needs!

Fantastic experience: Mike assisted my son and I in store today. It was a quiet lovely place. I did not feel hurried or rushed in the slightest as I was looking around for games for both myself and my son. Great collection of oddities like statuettes and little random fun things! I was able to pick up several things for my child and a few for myself. I really appreciate the fact that I can blur the very defined lines in our generational gap by coming to an establishment like this one. We come here often and intend to keep on being patrons at this extremely hospitable location! Great work Mike, super knowledgable and offering service with a smile and a few jokes as well. We left all smiles, as usual.

Negative experience: Fallout games def fell off - refused to give me store credit or a refund for their defective DS. Mike needs to exercise and watch who he’s talking to. You only work behind glass, you don’t live behind it

Fantastic experience: Great selection at good prices. Bought the Japanese version of Mario Sunshines for $20 and the employee helpfully reminded me that the GameCube is region locked, then put it in a cleaning machine when I brought it to the desk. Came out spotless and ran perfectly!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to one Fallout Games or another for many years now, and if there is a better place for retro games I don't know of it. That goes for the prices that they offer you, especially if you keep your stuff in good condition. The owners are fans of games and gamers both, and it shows!

I appreciate that they put minimal pricing stickers on games so you aren't left with label residue. Definitely recommend shopping here over a GameStop or other larger chain.

Positive experience: Would highly recommend Fallout Games. Brought over some Xbox and Wii Games and the guy was very friendly. Only offered around $170 for 30 games, but it’s still much more than you would get at GameStop. The worker said they pay the most for trade-ins and I believe it. Yes, you can make double the amount of money on eBay but if you are looking to trade-in games, it’s better to support a local business than a corrupt chain where they’ll give you $1 per game if you’re lucky.

Fantastic experience: I remember shopping here ten years ago when I lived in Phoenix and decided to check back in since I was back in town from San Diego. Lots of inventory in the store. Prices were competitive with market value on most items with a couple of exceptions. They have a 7 day warranty on used games. Since I am from out of town though, was told I would not be able to use the guarantee unless I come back to the store in person. I love shopping for games whenever I travel and this is the first time I’ve been told this by a business. I mean to be fair the game is probably going to work but the peace of mind is always nice. Besides that I would buy from here again if I become a local again.

Fantastic experience: The BEST video game store in Arizona hands down! They always have amazing and ever changing selections of games for every system you have ever heard of and ones you havent! Cheapest prices in town, best trade in offers for credit or cash, and the employees are all very nice and knowledgeable. Definitely check any of the Fallout locations out first if you are looking for obscure retro video games. I can spend hours inside any of the stores just looking and sometimes drooling over what they have in their glass cases! Go and check them out soon before the game you want is sold to someone else! Update: This place just keeps getting better. Their stock of games just seems to grow everyday. They have a ton of sealed vintage games as well! I like to stop in once a week just to see their new stuff!

Fantastic experience: I came in today to sell some item and get in store credit. Didn’t take long at all , being they had to test both items and I looked around and waited . Staff was really friendly , the woman who helped me gave me some good picks on what to get my daughter . Fair pricing for in store credit , and same with buying items. I’ll definitely be back to this location .

Negative experience: Normally have a good time going to fallout games but they always help me with what I’m looking for. But if you looking to sell a Xbox 360 the most they can give you if it works(I checked myself) is 27 dollars

Original gameboy display with the two gameboys. The Nintendo Power Glove. I remember when these were released. It's fun to marvel over how far we have come.

Fantastic experience: Went to game stop in the pavilions and had an awful experience when looking for an Xbox one for my sons birthday. Looking used, hoping for cheaper than $300 and left. I went to google, found fallout and called Chris. He was awesome and even set it aside because there was only one left. I had an issue with my sons switch and he did everything in his power to help fix it but couldn’t and then fact that he tried and cared has earned my business forever. I walked into a time warp and saw everything from the 1980’s consoles and games up to now. Incredible selection, incredible service and my son will now have an amazing birthday thanks to them.
