Negative experience: Game stores have gone off the deep end. Worse that buying a car when it comes to buying one and the price going down 150%. But its not the exchanges fault I guess. They have a good selection but they are another buy back super low and sell stupid high gaming store. Don't worry I rated disc replay and game stop lower.

Negative experience: Unfortunately my last few visits there were not good. I was ignored by the guy ringing me up as i was checking out when i tried talking to him. I later gave a shot at doing a trade-in on approximately $110 worth of games and was offered $20, insulting. And lastly they didnt update their system for the 1 thing i had ordered thru them, a gamecube game, which arrived in a jewel case, and was sent messages to pick up something i already had gotten. I dont recommend shopping here. Instead check out old school outpost for your gaming needs, its a bit further but better prices and better trade in value.

Negative experience: If I could give them zero Stars I would hands down the worst game shop I've ever walked into. They have a ton of stuff they want to lowball you if you want to sell something or trade it in for other stuff. I literally brought in a Nintendo 64 and great condition two controllers and great condition three games high end games they go for about 60 each and they offered me $55 total. I paid $60 for one game from them two months ago and I get that you're never going to get out what you paid for but that is the biggest scam rip off I've ever seen in my life. It was beyond belief go to disc replay they will at the very least give you a fair deal for what you have. I feel sorry for people that have to sell their stuff and not like me we're just wanting to trade it in for something new so I can walk away cuz there's going to be people in a situation that really need the money and these people are going to take advantage of them. So you read this no I would never go there.

Fantastic experience: We called 3 stores for a game, and The Exchange had it. But that's not the real reason why I am posting. The store was immaculate! They have vinyls, players, movies, posters, collectibles... All was organized and arranged neatly. The staff were nice, and the gentleman who helped us was super friendly, helpful, and informative. Definitely will be going back!!

Fantastic experience: This store is not like any other store that sells used movies. It is so clean and organized. Movies are categorized and kept behind locked glass cases. Staff is always available to take movies out for you, recommend movies, show you where something is located, and check their other locations if they don't have something in their store. They also have a large selection of vinyl, also neatly organized! I love this place! On my last visit, we spent $130 and left with some amazing finds!

Negative experience: Update: They refunded my debit for a fourth of it. Could only give store credit for what I used on a gift card, but that's corporate policy so I can't really be mad. Got three Pokemon switch games and they work great. Still going to leave the issues with the console before but they made it up to me for sure. I am keeping it at one star however, as there is zero excuse for the lack of quality control. Here are the issues I dealt with- 1: The memory card they gave me to go with it has a lot of data, some of which is corrupt and cannot be deleted. None of the games I have recognize a memory card so it is likely not usable. Not the biggest problem since I got it for free... but what if I had paid $15 it's being sold at? Not okay. 2: Was not shown the state of the cables or ports. The RCA cable has less than half the connector teeth and the multi av out port is VERY bend and discolored like it has water damage... poor quality signal to tv as a result. This likely means this part will not work for much longer and will need replacing. 4: It didn't have have a network adapter. The associate seemed confused and looked around like it was supposed to have one, but it only had the cover. Again this wouldn't be a huge issue since I don't care about getting online, but it seems odd to not even keep the pieces together. The associate retrieved and screwed the network adapter cover on with a penny... and it fell off while he was trying to put it in the bag. Absolutely broken, it tried to split into pieces when I took it off of the back of the PS2. It is also very rusty and dirty... honestly it should not have been given out in that condition. 5: The system is rather dirty for what I'm used to from this shop. Some odd sticky spots near the back ports. Perhaps the water damaged a port is related to this? ...And yes you could say "Well why didn't you look at the items on the parking lot before you left?" I simply had never had a bad experience at any of The Exchange locations before today, and had trust in their products. In the future I will be checking all products before leaving the parking lot. Not just from The Exchange, however. Just a general lesson to look before leaving.

And Ghost Town unopened , and The howling 2 dvd also unopened they offered me less than the cost when they came out , some of the movie has sold comps of $100 or more the young lady was rude told me that the best get anywhere, I took those movies to Half Price Books and they paid me more than 50% which was more than they afford and this store ,

Fantastic experience: I love vintage video game stores and this one is perfect. They have everything that will keep you looking for ever. When I go in this place, I end up making my Christmas list because I would spend all of my own money at this store. Plus, they are interconnected and will hold vintage games at other locations too. Their only down fall is that they are a tad over the competition's price points on certian items. However, their cleanliness is next to perfect and their staff have a love for their jobs as well! Highly highly recommended!

We were able to find some games in fantastic condition for at or slightly below market. I will visit this store again whenever I am in town.

Negative experience: I called to ask the trade in value of 2 games. The kid that answered started with a huge sigh like I was bothering him by calling. When I asked the value of the 2 games he said "We can't give the trade in values over the phone for the safety of the product." What does that even mean? Gamestop and Disc Replay have no problem giving this info because it's a simple answer. Either you will take it for this value or you won't take it.

Negative experience: I took over 100 movie in to this establishment. When I first discovered this place, I told this young lady a majority of the things I had, she said that they would be able to assist me. (Mind you this was a white younger chick, and I am in an inter-racial relationship) when I brought my items back she told me it would be about 30 min. I hadn't been in this store before so me and my husband decided to look around while she was looking at our items. 5 min later, she called us back to the counter and told us that she would have to pass on ALL of our items because they had "too many" of the movies we had. Upon looking in the box, there was NO WAY she even looked at half of our items!!! She gave us both a snarling look and her attitude was disgusting. I am so offended I will NEVER go back to this place again!!! Grow up lady!!! We can love who we want!!! ‍♀️
