Fantastic experience: Bigger than most game stops.
Negative experience: The stuff they have is just like all the other game stops. Would recommend coming here, but if you see Spencer, the white guy here do not come here. He will just try and get you mad. He talks so bad . He ignores you. And acts like he’s super annoyed every time you talk I would fire him if I was the boss here if you’re reading this, please fire him. He’s bad for your work. I am never returning here ever again. He got mad at me because I told him hey I want that headset and once you took it out then I said he actually I want a different one. He got mad at me for that.
Negative experience: I called like 10 times no answer I live on Expressway in the store. Here is closing so I’m trying to find out something so I keep calling and no answer. I don’t wanna drive all the way over there and for them not to be able to help me.

Negative experience: NOT open at this point. It's 12:17pm and the doors are still locked and the gate is still up. What kind of management is this? Corporate should be notified. Been checking in since 11am, the opening time, since I had errands in the area and several people came and went in frustration. Not a good image for your store.

Fantastic experience: Colby is a class act, and even if he is the highest paid employee in GS history, he is worthy of a healthy pay increase. I've been in several GameStop's in the past few days to inquire about Nintendo Switch 2 drops. In Penn Square Mall, I was mostly ignored, which was impressive considering employees were watching my every move like I came in to shoplift them blind. Didn't ever get so much as a "Can I help you find something." Just stared at and watched for the duration of the most alienating 5 minutes I have spent in any shop. At Belle Isle, the 2 guys there were kind and mostly helpful, but could not say if there would be any additional consoles available for "first come first served" purchases during the release. So I was underwhelmed at best as I walked into the SW 3rd Street location this afternoon. I asked if there were allocations available for this location, and Colby informed me they were all reserved (no surprise) and without having to ask he informed me that additional consoles would be on hand for "first come, first served" purchases, which is the news I wanted to hear! Also, this location had some MTG Tarkir play boosters, and I haven't seen those on a rack in weeks anywhere, so I absolutely grabbed a couple! Thanks again to Colby (and give that gentleman a healthy raise, already!) for kind and informative service, but more importantly, thanks to him and the store for making me feel welcome from start to finish. I'll be back with half a rack on June 5 for my Switch 2!!!

Negative experience: I bought a PlayStation 5 controller there about nine months ago. Spent the extra amount on the warranty. Started having problems with the joystick, so I brought it in since it was still under warranty. The manager produced a replacement that was used. I asked why the warranty doesn't doesn't cover a new controller. She said because the controller is now used, she can only replace it with a used product. I was a little in shock. I stated that it was new when I purchased the warranty, and should be treated as such. The manager said she couldn't do that because quote: "The computer will get mad at me." What a strange business strategy to prioritize the computer's happiness over the customers. I suddenly don't feel bad that Gamestops are closing all over the place. By the way, the buttons on the replacement controller I received are worn out and sticky. Awesome job Gamestop!! Keep being you!! Don't ever change!! Stay cool!! Love ya!! TTYL. LOL. JK.

Negative experience: Manager at this gamestop is RUDE. She needs some better customer service skills and treat people the way she wants to be treated. Don't see her working here longer than this year. You have been warned.
Negative experience: Pokemon's Prismatic Evolutions cards just released today. The workers let in another worker about 5-10 mins before opening at 11am. As the doors unlocked and those of us in the line were let into the store the employee they let in was walking out with tons of the new Prismatic Pokemon merch. The line in the store was also in a single line and those up front were going to whichever cashier was available at the time. The worker that had already purchased all he wanted yelled one the way out that they had two cashiers and there could be more than one line. The folks in the back immediately shot over to the other line and purchased product until it was sold out. Others that had been in line for hours got screwed over due to this. Release of this set was handled poorly. It's experiences like this that have led to Gamestops declining customers over the years. I highly suspect that the workers likely made a deal that the one could purchase from their own stock and it will likely be sold at scalped prices online and guessing split among the other employees. The cashiers appeared to be laughing when they told us that the small amount of stock on the counter was all they had left. They also didn't do a 1 or 2 product per person which further led to others being screwed over.
Negative experience: I got to this store over an hour early for a new TCG release day. Us customers formed an orderly line. I was 6th in line. The employees saw the line and it's size. I wish they would have told the line how little stock they had so they didn't waste people's time. They didnt care. Even coming out to laugh at the line once. We filed in orderly when the store opened. They opened a second register and let the people in the back of the line file in for this register. The employees had zero respect for the line we created. Whoever got there fastest received the product. I am physically handicapped which is why I got there early enough so I wouldn't have to compete in a race. They then let customers buy multiple items of the very limited stock. It would make sense to limit one item per customer to maximize customer satisfaction . So it worked out that half the people who received stock arrived 5 minutes before openning. The employees did not care and seemed to enjoy dissapointing the most amount of people they could. Thank you for wasting my morning that I could have used going to a store that cares about their customers.

Negative experience: Racial profiling is disgusting, This guy Shawn saw me and my wife and my infant walking in and asking about a game. He showed us few games and then I said thank you. As I was walking out of the door he followed me and asked me where is his game accusing me of stealing it. When he went back to check the shelf he found the game there. He didn’t even apologize. I am a black man and it’s sad to see people like him.

Fantastic experience: I have absolutely been blown away with the level of service I have received while patronizing this location! My guy Carlos has consistently come through for me above and beyond. When I've normally received the opposite at Gamestop. Carlos is a shining of example of great customer service, friendly attitude, and I will always shop at this location. I drive from Edmond by many Gamestops, but I know I will always be given the absolute best service at the Reno spot with Carlos! Thank you again Carlos if you see this. Management you better do something with this guy, before another company poaches him. Definitely a future leader in your company.

Negative experience: Unethical practices. Got a bundle yesterday and I payed almost 100 bucks in warranties that I wasn't ASKED or told would be one the bundle. On top of that everything in the bundle already has a one year warranty with Sony. Unethical practices and shady dealing. Won't be back
Fantastic experience: This is the second time I went into the store. I am a newbie when it comes to gaming. The lady at the register was extremely patient with me and helped me a lot. She knew I am not going to spend a lot and still helped me like I was a very valuable customer. We rarely see this great customer service. Amazing.

Negative experience: Went into the store to trade in my xbox and get my wife a switch game. No one greeted me and when I introduced myself and told them what I was there for I did not get a single response except lost looks. They finally responded and told me it would be about 10 minutes which was a complete lie because my transaction took over an hour and the store was not busy and there was 3 workers. The whole time no one even checked on me or gave me an update the whole time I was there. I will never come back here again after this experience!
Fantastic experience: This Gamestop is on the small side, but that doesn't matter because the staff and their huge customer appreciation state of mind, make it one of the only Gamestops that I buy from. If they don't have what I'm looking for they always try to find it without me having to even ask. 5/5 stars. They also have Zelda ammibos on hand so that gets an extra 15 stars LOL 20 / 5
Negative experience: Was told no-one in the state are selling nintendo switch. I have not been in a game stop for 15 yrs for the service and my friend I will never stop in a game stop again horrible smell in the hole store, and the associates were horrible, want to hear something funny we were told no-one in the state has switches and none of the game stops do none at all in oklahoma well we called Wal-Mart in yukon the had 1 and the mustang Wal-Mart had 2 we decided to go to mustang since I live closer the special edition, found out best buy did have one as well. Happy by bud tye was able to get a switch.
Negative experience: Brought a game back that was bought as a gift to return and was still sealed and would not allow to return it. Yet said would take it back if I turned around opened it then traded it in for half. Don’t waste your time with these people.

Negative experience: I had been calling this location multiple times today to see if they had a game I was looking for but never once did anyone answer. I figured out how to find the information online and came down to the store at 7:50pm to pick it up but when I walked up to the door it was locked with people inside and one of the employees standing at the door looking the other way. I thought maybe the time was wrong on Google so i looked at the hours on the door and it said 8pm. That's very unprofessional to lock the doors 10 mins early and stand there knowing you did while ignoring a customer. I will change my store to another location that wants that extra 10 mins of business. This would have never happened when Chelsea was working there.
Fantastic experience: The reason we decided across town too this store over all the other ones is because of the boiii Davon, he supplies that fire service with being very knowledgeable with all the products I asked him about and being super legitimately nice about it as well great guy! Also we were only going too get one of two games and he went out of his way for us even being super slammed with customers too find them in the drawers and the back snd found them both so we went ahead and got them both because of the amazing customer service this dude deserves a raise!!

Negative experience: Wasted my time I called the store to make sure they have what I was looking for because I was like 5 miles away the guy on the phone was very cordial doing his best to help and asked his manager and she said yeah they have some deals going around they told me sure they have it and I came to store he grabbed an Xbox one x and a controller with a total of almost $400 and I said hold up I called about the Xbox One x bundle with 2k19 $250 he said that is 2k19 I said yeah he said we don't have that deal wasted my time why not tell me come to find out they don't even have this deal in store a prestige GameStop employee in Edmond told me that deal is only online she saved my day thanks you

Positive experience: Good store! Only a few minor problems. The first one being that when my family wanted to trade in a stack of video games, it took the guy behind the register about 45 minutes to do maybe 10 games, and all he had to do was scan them. Second, they are a little overpriced, but then again, it is GameStop which is a name brand shop. And third, I found it very rude how one of the workers there had his butt crack out and didn't even bother to pull up his pants.

Positive experience: I like this location because it’s always clean and I know the staff very friendly and knowledgeable and if there is a game that isn’t good they’re not afraid to tell you but not always if someone doesn’t like it doesn’t mean that the person by may not like it.
Positive experience: Management is superb, the only thing I have to say is done of the new hires have a tendency to tell you they'll do something or they're able to and then you drive all the way there and some "issue" is keeping them from essentially keeping their word and the promise they made to you on the phone.
Fantastic experience: I'm really glad this store got new management staff. We had almost stopped going here due to previous bad experiences. This time was nothing but great. We found all kinds of cool stuff on their clearance which was actually buy one get one free. Their used games selection was much better this time, and the woman informed me that we should be upgrade to a Pro membership due to the amount of points we had for just a regular membership. They also gave me a little bit of information about their layaway starting at the end of the month and going through Christmas.

Negative experience: Well this happened only a couple days ago I went and got three games dragon age 2 shadow of mordor and sky rim I get home go to play the games and both dragon age and shadow of mordor freeze at the very beginning so I go to put in sky rim and its the installation disc 2 I then call up there and I tell the guy he gave me the installation disc and the other ones didn't work he was super rude told me to come up there and then hung up so I get up there and get the sky rim game and get my money back for the other two now this skyrim doesn't work so I have to go back up there today I have never had any problems with GameStop my whole life the people are usually nice and polite and the game have always worked very upsetting about this GameStop I don't think I wanna go back to this store again

Positive experience: They have a decent selection of used games at good prices with a good return policy on them. Also it can be a nice place to pre-order or buy new releases of you don't want to walk into a large retailer or have it shipped. Beware their buying practices though. You can sell them used games, consoles, and accessories, but they will give you very, very little for them.
Positive experience: Good customer service. Only thing I really had a problem with was the PS4 wall selection was extremely small while the Xbox one wall selection size was about 3-4 times bigger.
Negative experience: Called this location 5 minutes before close to confirm they had a game in stock as I was literally 3 businesses down looking at their store from the Best Buy parking lot. Was informed their computers were already shutting down. I understand prepping early to close on a saturday night but you cant actually close early if you intend to keep your customer base...
