Positive experience: The kid at the register was friendly and helpful. They just didn't have the cord I was looking for. Now, that I know where this store is, I will be going back when I am for a new game.

Negative experience: Wow lost an old time GameStop customer I wasn’t even done with the company but after this I can’t see why’d I return I bought a markdown item (Headset) Went home and it didn’t not work properly tried to return it less than 24 hours later and was told I couldn’t do so Called GameStop and they said I’d have to settle it in store and that I’m SoL their words not mine So they scammed me, how many people are they scamming? Or is it just this location

Negative experience: Three times I've been told by gamestop employees incorrect policy only to follow up and be stonewalled by another employee. Three times for policies regarding pre-orders, no accountability, they offer an apology only to have someone else visit, and they give in to the "incorrect" policy

Positive experience: Brings back good memories walking into a gamestop. And the employees are always nice and attentive when I walk in. And their background in games comes in handy when having questions about anything so they're generally up to date on what's going on in the gaming world. Hope this company has many more years here

Negative experience: Screw Gamestop. Surprising this company hasn't gone bankrupt yet. Never called me about the Switch 2 Midnight Release Reciept and never told me anything in regards to it. Pretty depressing considering i wanted to be there for the Midnight Release and i wasted time taking off work because they never called me. I'll be back to get my Switch 2, but I'll never do business with this Gamestop ever again after this.

Negative experience: Called the store six times, no answer. Called for a simple yes or no. when I got there to check if they had the item I needed, the cashier had an airpod in, however he was fairly helpful directing me to another place to purchase my PS2 power supply.

Fantastic experience: This Gamestop is a forgotten gem! NOWHERE, could you find a copy of Warhammer Space Marine 2 for PS5! I dunno about PC or XBOX, but MYYY local Gamestop in Yukon with a manager here as good as they get & to use an old phrase, "she's the bomb"! Well, she messaged the manager at this store, and Voila got the last copy Gamestop had even on the app! I'm EXTREMELY grateful to them for helping me get a copy of Space Marine II that I should have pre-reserved in the first place. YOU GUYS ROCK! Game on!

Negative experience: If it was possible to not give a star I would. But unfortunately that’s not the case. I recently came to this establishment to use my warranty on a controller. My warranty expired, no problem. George, the oriental gentleman at the counter told me that since my warranty expired he would have to give me a refurbished controller instead of new. Again. I don’t have an issue with that. What I have an issue with is the ridiculous run around that George gave me. 1) he refused military discount 2) what you give them as a trade in, they have to give back that is their policy he did not follow their own TOS. I arrived at my home with none of which I gave him. So I had to go back to the store and continue the run around. I found the rest of pieces for my product and returned them so I could get the newer product. And George made it difficult to get what I gave him. I do not understand why this interaction was so ridiculous. I was not aware that an establishment that does military discount, is able to refuse it.DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! Save yourself the time and energy

Negative experience: I hadn't been to GameStop in a decade or longer, but I went to find a birthday present for a kid. I can't help but compare it to the last time I visited. This place is the undead husk of a zombie kept alive by memeing Redditors. There's one wall of games, and the rest of the store is adjacent-related plushies and trading cards. They haven't even tried the retrogaming market or expanding into comics or anything. Good luck, GameStop, I hope you come back to life some day.

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I would. If you want to look at cards apparently you have to look behind the counter. I have been to many other gamestops and none of them have ever said that. this one sucks. Would not recommend going here the one off the 40 is so much better

Negative experience: I showed up at 817pm and they were closed. They did not answer the phone either. You should change your hours on Google. I drove 25min out of my way to come to this one because it's one of the few that are open past 8pm according to Google.

Negative experience: Game Stop over promised, under delivered with Zelda "Special Edition" game .pre-pay reserviation. When Game Stop announced the ability to pre-pay for The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom on social media, they stated that those who pre-ordered at the store would receive a wooden plaque as part of their "special edition" offer. I went into the story and did the pre-order and was told by the associate named Devon that the game did indeed come with a wooden plaque. Fast forward to today, I went in to collect my game with the plaque and was told by Terrance that they had no plaques as they were given away during their release event the night before. I explained that the plaque was promised to me by Devon when I pre-ordered the game. Devon was at the store and said that he always says, "While Supplies Last". This was not the case. Matter of fact when I was pre-ordering the game, he was distracted by another person at the counter and was talking about a video game they were currently playing. When I kept explaining to Devon that the wooden plaque was promised to me, he said, "I understand but there is nothing I can do." He was very condescending and dismissive. He said, "I could try calling other stores but I am sure that they don't have any available." He said, "Nintendo didn't send us enough." When I was leaving the store, they rolled their eyes and giggled as they apologized to the customer waiting in line behind me. I had the opportunity to order this game with a discount from another retailer. However, I chose Game Stop because I was set with the expectation that I would receive the wooden plaque. I am sure the game will be great and that this may seem trivial, but I believe that businesses to deliver on their promises. If they're unable to do so, they should try to make the situation right and at least treat the customer with respect. I urge you to be cautious when pre-ordering games from Game Stop. Especially when they promise a bonus item as part of their "special edition" offer.

Negative experience: I wanted to purchase a PS4 controller. I looked on their website and it said that they had some in stock for 36.99. I drove over to the store on NW Expressway and was told that they don’t have any in stock but that I can buy one for 50.00. They gentleman also said that they would price match the price that it said on their website. When he rang it up and tried to change the price on it, he magically couldn’t change the price of it so I ended up paying the 5400 with tax. If I was you, I would go anyplace see but here. I will be contacting the manager about this as well

Positive experience: My son is paralyzed, he asked me to stop @ Walmart to pick up the a $40.00 headset I decided to go by game stop. I found just what he wanted @ half the price and they had a discount pro club for $15.00 a year that is great . That was great...it will definitely not be my last visit...❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Customer service was a little blane however not rude and knowledgeable...but again the price and savings were awesome.

Negative experience: Tried to sell a Xbox S and Xbox Series X. Was told she cannot accept them because there are no charging cables for the controllers when neither one even comes with a cable, only batteries. Said she could use some C cables that they have in stock and knock the offer down. So Gamestop has found a way to rip us off even more, or this employee wasn't trained properly. No more business from me.

Fantastic experience: I very rarely see such amazing customer service. I went into the store yesterday without any hope of what I was looking. He did not have it and I expected that but he went above and beyond trying to find me that game. He reached out to other stores, stores I could not call. He spent his time and got me that game. I love this store now.

Negative experience: I don’t know who the 19, or something, year old kid was working today (Sat, Jan 22 around 2pm), but he was super rude and obviously didn’t want our business. Why keep games on the shelf if they are not available? If you can avoid this store, go to the Memorial Location because their selection is better and the employees are professional.

Fantastic experience: Charles was a stellar example of what a model salesman should be. I went in and was asking for Vita games, but I walked out with a big smile and a hand full of games I've wanted. He was personable, outgoing, and very respectful. The store itself is a bit smaller, but the selection is more towards games, instead of most GameStops nowadays where it is focused on memorabilia and knickknacks. It was clean, and they had a good selection of games. The location is nice, albeit a bit close to other stores. I think this store is one I'll go back to. It blew me away to have such a good experience at GameStop, when my last experiences at other stores have been so painfully lackluster and disappointing. Five marks across the board. Top notch.

Fantastic experience: The Sales Associate, Charles, was the biggest factor in my visit to GameStop. He had a great knowledge of not only his product but also the inventory on hand. He used first hand experience to put value in his recommendations while having a great attitude and made sure that I had the knowledge to make my purchase. He was very accommodating while I was fumbling at POS. I will be sure to come back to this store because of the sales associate.
