Fantastic experience: Great customer service

Negative experience: To far out the way. As soon as I signed up for membership. The location closed down a week later. And not the same low prices. I've felt misinformed and I don't feel I'm getting any reasonable savings on games. I can buy a game for $10 or $20 then when I turn the game back in with good condition. I want even get at least half back. I traded in 5 games only to get $10 off of a $19.99 game

Fantastic experience: Great customer experience. Visited the store a few weeks ago to purchase a used Xbox gaming console. Mallory was a pleasure to work with and made every effort to ensure we received the greatest value with our purchase. Mallory also made sure that all patrons were greeted as they entered the store and engaged with those who were waiting in line. Store is well stocked with video games and other related items.

Negative experience: I am writing this as a follow up review to their customer service as it is less than exemplary. A couple months ago I was eyeing a ps5 game they had in stock, inventory said it was there every day I checked and the game is older, not a new release. I finally went in to purchase the game in store and the employee insisted the game didn’t “exist” in that version for the ps5. I told him I checked the inventory multiple times and stated it was there but he refused to even check the inventory and insisted I go to the Laguna store where they had the “gold” copy. Therefore I drove to the Laguna store and picked up the gold copy without issue. Months later, I came across non-gold copies of the game I was looking for that the employee insisted didn’t exist, at both wal-mart and GameStop. The professionalism of that employee and their knowledge of games is lackluster at best so I will avoid this GameStop location at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Though my son loves GameStop for games, I would like to give their employee, Braden S. a stellar review for being a wonderful human being. I managed to lose my ATM card near the store last night and on his way home he noticed my card. I received a FB message that I thought was spam, bit he went above and beyond to try to find me. Just so happened I saw his message and was able to retrieve my card. Also- he took the extra step if verifying the last 4 digits of my card to ensure I was truly the cardholder. Phenomenal young man!

Fantastic experience: Really helpful and help me get some good PS4 games

Negative experience: They overpriced the Iono’s Bellibolt ex Premium Collection for (MSRP $39.99) and didn't even list it on their website. I sent my girl to buy an ETB there, but she bought this instead. They didn't have an ETB in stock. The vendor told her its $50 for the Iono's collection but MSRP is $39.99...... I would of bought it online at Best Buy last night then or bought it in the morning at Target when I went but I didn't want it. So I went back to return it, I asked for a refund for the package since it was unopened. They told me they don't give refunds and I told them they sold it to her at scalper price and they still said no refund or even a credit...... (DONT MISS THIS) They told me they don't get the cards from Pokemon but a third party vendor that the manager said "Buys from Pokemon." This makes me wonder if they reseal the cards before selling them and repackage them. There was even a little bit of damage to the box. This GameStop is evil because the other GameStop in Natomas sells there stuff at MSRP...... you guys are foul.

Negative experience: Tried trading in my iPhone, buddy wasted my time for an hour to keep trying to push me away to deal with other customers that I respected and moved for but as a first come first serve it doesn't apply here, Everytime there was a problem he was trying to end the deal and overestimated the damage to the device in the first place undervaluing myself, my items and my time for it's a business but only when it wants to be.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, I went in to get some advice on some gift cards, and the young lady that helped me seemed irritated, like she did not want to be there, the store had just opened and there were like one other customer in there, so it wasn't like she was busy, maybe just didn't feel like being at work.

Negative experience: They made me wait for 4 hours in the cold waiting to get the ps5 with 20 other people waiting as well. They never said how many they had and they made us wait and when the store opened the manager said they only had 2 or 3. Do you see the problem. Not only that they started promoting their awesome black Friday deals. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE BLACK FRIDAY DEALS. All 20 people wanted the new consoles and they knew that but they didn’t care. I will never go to this gamestop again after what they put us through.

Negative experience: Placed an order the day prior and called to tell them I’d be in the day to pick it up. He said okay I see the order and they’d hold it for 72 hours. Show up today to be told they cancelled it because they didn’t have It in stock and that I received an email. I didn’t receive the email until after they turned me away because it was sent as I was walking away. I want my money back.

The newest young lady tall, she is VERY enthusiastic with her customer service, almost makes you smile right along with her! Could tell she was eager to learn everything possible. But she turns it on and off just like that. Good customer service then, boom back to work! The female supervisors, ehhh, they are okay. But when in line after watching their interactions with other customers, you pray you get a regular employee to help you instead. The blonde supervisor has gotten better with her customer relations, she kind of smiles now. Supervisor with the long brown hair, almost like a robot...smile, items, scan, hello, thank you, not at this time, beep boop, goodbye. Overall great place! Love the selection!

Positive experience: I mainly buy game cards for Wizard101 here, so a GameStop card doesn't get me much. Clerks are nice and friendly and willing and able to talk about games. They sell and trade a lot of games. They just sent me a questionnaire about selling nostalgia paraphernalia, so I guess that is their next market move
