Negative experience: I came looking for a touch screen stylus & wanted to look on my own instead of bothering anyone. lady at the register asked me pretty rudely what I wanted, mocked my stutter when I mispronounced "capacitive" and then acted like I was dumb for wanting to get one there. that's fine- I understand I won't get what doesn't exist. But when I started looking at Nintendo stuff she made it seem like I wasn't allowed to still browse the rest of the store. I'll just go to Walmart for my switch games I guess

Fantastic experience: The one on Roe Avenue in Kansas City is great. Mitzi is a manager and she has great customer service. I applaud her. Went back again today after a year. Mitzi was there and I she was excellent. I can always find something here and I did. Great store.

Negative experience: Sold me a game that does not work. Then told me there is no way to replace it.

Negative experience: Sold me a game that does not work. I tried to return it and got a nasty attitude from the employees. When they agreed to switch it out, they gave me a disc that was even more scratched up and still did not work. I'd give this place a 0/10 if I could. HONESTLY YOU GUYS ARE BETTER OFF GOING ACROSS THE STREET TO WALMART AND GET A BRAND-NEW GAME FOR THE PRICE OF THIS GAMESTOP USED GAMES. Thanks for reading!

Fantastic experience: I went in today to submit some baseball cards for PSA grading. The employee who helped me was very knowledgeable of the process and time frame. He was also very friendly. It's a super easy process. I'm looking forward to continue to use this service through Gamestop, it saved me quite a bit of money vs submitting myself.

Negative experience: The people here are so rude. When I came in about my cards an the grading process the lady was very short an defensive when I was worried about the care of my card on the process of the grading.

Positive experience: Everyone says there rude but I had good interactions, but GameStop in legends they are RUDE. This store was okay.

Negative experience: The Lady (mitzy) running the store had a nasty attitude the entire time we were in the store which was a grand total of maybe 5 minutes. I worked retail before and I have never ever treated a customer like that. I will never be back to this location ever.

Positive experience: Nothing wrong with the customer service. Half of their pre owned games were priced higher than buying it brand new! I went across the street to Walmart to buy the game I wanted but new instead.

Negative experience: I bought a PS5 Pro last year and got their insurance. I was told if anything happens they give you a NEW one and you don’t have to mess with the manufacturers warranty. Flash forward and I am having brief random no signal flashes from it. So I go to get it swapped out and they try giving me a USED one and tell me that’s their policy.

Negative experience: Rude employee very unhelpful. Spent most of the time I was in the store just playing on her phone. 9/16/2025 about 1:05 pm.

Anytime I have ever needed any assistance finding anything they have been excellent at assisting me. The management is always great and they do a great job of running the store! Keep being awesome guys!

Fantastic experience: This gamestop has some of the best stock I've seen around and one of the only ones that does the PSA submissions. The manager that helped with with the first one was very friendly and patient with me as I got all of my stuff sorted and they were still learning a little bit too. They all made me feel comfortable and that my cards were with safe people. I recommend checking them out especially if you are interested in TCG

Negative experience: Took a Xbox one s and was offered $10 I’m not even joking I took a ps4 controller too the one in Westport had stick drift $11 something is wrong with that . The Mexican lady act like I had did something horribly wrong by walking in as well definitely doesn’t know what a hard working job is if you can’t treat customers with a smile and respect won’t be shopping here again she will probably see this and say thank god lmao

Negative experience: Really rude staff. I was looking for an adapter that showed in stock online. Asked the employee about it and he rolled his eyes, said I don’t think so, and walked off.

Negative experience: I purchased a game yesterday and my son did not like it. I took it back to the store with my receipt and they would not allow the return and wanted to give me $15 for the $40 game. I will not be wasting any more money with this company.

Negative experience: If you want to experience poor customer service this is your store. I came in asked for a game they said yes we have it then after I said I don’t want to pay 15$ for pro membership they said they don’t have the game. The employee was rude with his answers. I won’t be visiting here again.

Looked it up and sent me to another GameStop but when I got there, they didn't have it either ...No explanation as to why I was sent there, no apologies...I went to the Walmart that was right next to it and found my game, no problem. Positive experience: They have a wide selection of games and gaming accessories. I went in a few days after Christmas to purchase a Super Smash Bros Nintendo Switch Wireless GameCube controller. I was told that they just received a shipment and was asked to wait while they unpack the boxes. After an hour I told an employee I would be right back in about 20-30 minutes if they could sit the item aside for me since I had additional errands to run that day. I was informed by this different employee that they did not have a shipment of them and there were none in the store. Not even in the back. I was then told that I should purchase something else. After waiting an hour for an item that they didn't even have, I was frustrated and ended up not buying anything. I did look at their Nintendo Switch Joy Con controllers and they're $10 cheaper at the Wal-Mart right next door. My advice would be to either buy online, or go to Wal-Mart next door.

Fantastic experience: Pre ordered nhl 19 deluxe edition. Was supposed to have 3 days early access to the game. When I went in to grab my copy, it had been sold, accidentally, to another customer. Now I have to wait until the actual release, which ruined the reason I pre ordered the game. With that being said, every other experience I have had with this gamestop has been awesome.
