Fantastic experience: Saif is an asset to your business and is able to somehow handle the work of at least three people by himself. We went in to sell some systems that we were no longer using when we were prepping to move and he was great. Extremely helpful, handled all of our questions professionally and was polite on the phone when he needed to answer it.

Negative experience: Went in to sell two of my graded pokemon cards, with a total of 27 dollars. Apparently you have to be 18 to sell to them. It's not worth it. Drive someplace else to sell your cards. I drove like 5 minutes south to a card shop and sold them for 50 bucks. Do not recommend coming here to sell your pokemon cards. You also can't sell the cards for CASH, you either have to choose between getting money added to your credit card or store credit, which is pretty much useless.

Fantastic experience: Very good service, the 2 people there were very nice and helpful, also one of them told me that I should probably get black ops 6 instead of 7 because people said that black ops 7 is bad, I’m glad he told me that, only bad part was that they didn’t have Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for the PS5

Negative experience: I bought a PS5 Pro last year and got their insurance. I was told if anything happens they give you a NEW one and you don’t have to mess with the manufacturers warranty. Flash forward and I am having brief random no signal flashes from it. So I go to get it swapped out and they try giving me a USED one and tell me that’s their policy.

Negative experience: I bought a brand new Xbox series x from this store as soon as I got home and try to play it it did not work I drove back 30 minutes to get an exchange and the store was close. The sign said they close at 9:00pm Monday to Friday

Negative experience: Went in with both of my kids. Both of them wanted to buy a pokemon charizard super premium collection. We were told we could only get one because it’s rare. Better believe we easily left and got one elsewhere for cheaper because they are not rare. Way to lose a $75 sale and upset a 7 year old for no good reason. Won’t be coming back to your store. Do better with your customer service.

Negative experience: Refurbished for them is just used they don’t even bother checking the device. Bought a broken elite series controller here that turned out to be busted. Wouldn’t take it back either. Stick to more trusted vendors not GameStop

Negative experience: Me and my husband received a ticket stating that our God of War Ragnarök game (the preorder) was due to release at MIDNIGHT tonight (11/9). We head to this location and I swear to God we waited half an hour for the store to open up, with a group of people. No employee was there. Its like they closed early on a Midnight, game release day. Earlier in the day, a gentleman at the desk even said to come back at midnight to pick it up! The group of people waiting with us, including my husband and I were completely blown away by this. If an employee isn't gonna be there, don't advertise for a Midnight game release.

Negative experience: The employee tried talking me out of buying GTA V for $17 (for a friend) because "it's a terrible game". The guy also can't take a joke and seems miserable. Then he had the nerve to try to get me to pre-order a game after the terrible service.

Negative experience: There's just no real reason to go here over digital or Amazon anymore. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money at Gamestop since I was a teenager. Maybe it was nostalgia or a sense of loyalty, but I still always go here for all my games and consoles. Most recently, we spent $700+ on a Nintendo Switch, games, and an extra controller. The controller stopped working less than 2 months later. If I had ordered on Amazon, I'd have a new one on the way without wasting time, effort, or gas. Unfortunately, we got everything at Gamestop...so I had to buy another brand new controller while an angry teenage version of Severus Snape who chose acid over magic explains why logic and ethics are no match for corporate policies. Oh well. We had a good run Gamestop. I will try to remember you as you were.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to game stop since I was in middle school and has always been a fun experience. I wish they would bring back the mid night releases or new games we used to have parties at the one by oak park mall. I like this one because its close by and are friendly to talk to. Met a few cool people too during the camp out for PS5.

Fantastic experience: I go there all the time for my son and every time I go there all of the employees there are helpful. Today I went in and Clayton was there mean while I had a friend call me from Scotland and I forgot she was going to call for New Years! Why yes she called me at 6:30 my time however it was 2020 where she was at. Clayton was super awesome about it and joined in on the conversation since she face timed me! Thank you Clayton for being a descent human being and Not just a customer representative for GameStop. This will forever be my GameStop home/family.

Positive experience: This gamestop is by far on the upper end of gamestop's but still miles away from being a great place. I came in looking for an copy of Mario Kart for the Wii, one of the staff helped me out and pulled out the "only" copy from behind the counter ... sold it to me ... then realized that, that copy wasn't for sale cause it has a malfunction or whatever. I came back again a month or so later and lucky they had another copy that actually worked.

Negative experience: Employee #1 forgets to put the used game in the case. Employee #2 doesn't bother to offer an apology. This is why I usually only go to the Gamestop on 7 highway. Way better customer service and they dont act like they're put out by things like customers asking questions.

The space always seems small for the amount of customers they have in the store. So it can seem a little crowded when trying to browse to find an item.
