Fantastic experience: Saif is an asset to your business and is able to somehow handle the work of at least three people by himself. We went in to sell some systems that we were no longer using when we were prepping to move and he was great. Extremely helpful, handled all of our questions professionally and was polite on the phone when he needed to answer it.

Negative experience: If you want rude treatment, Gary is the guy to talk to here 0 stars for him

Negative experience: Went in to sell two of my graded pokemon cards, with a total of 27 dollars. Apparently you have to be 18 to sell to them. It's not worth it. Drive someplace else to sell your cards. I drove like 5 minutes south to a card shop and sold them for 50 bucks. Do not recommend coming here to sell your pokemon cards. You also can't sell the cards for CASH, you either have to choose between getting money added to your credit card or store credit, which is pretty much useless.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 service! So patient and kind, helped so many people! Also gave me a fair price for a tablet! Thank you! I even forgot my charger and they called me and let me know! 10/10 service!

Negative experience: I bought a PS5 Pro last year and got their insurance. I was told if anything happens they give you a NEW one and you don’t have to mess with the manufacturers warranty. Flash forward and I am having brief random no signal flashes from it. So I go to get it swapped out and they try giving me a USED one and tell me that’s their policy.

Negative experience: I bought a brand new Xbox series x from this store as soon as I got home and try to play it it did not work I drove back 30 minutes to get an exchange and the store was close. The sign said they close at 9:00pm Monday to Friday

Negative experience: Not impressed. The clerk was very ho-hum, didn't smile once. The used games were $2 less than new ones on Amazon. I won't shop there again.

Negative experience: Went in with both of my kids. Both of them wanted to buy a pokemon charizard super premium collection. We were told we could only get one because it’s rare. Better believe we easily left and got one elsewhere for cheaper because they are not rare. Way to lose a $75 sale and upset a 7 year old for no good reason. Won’t be coming back to your store. Do better with your customer service.

Negative experience: Me and my husband received a ticket stating that our God of War Ragnarök game (the preorder) was due to release at MIDNIGHT tonight (11/9). We head to this location and I swear to God we waited half an hour for the store to open up, with a group of people. No employee was there. Its like they closed early on a Midnight, game release day. Earlier in the day, a gentleman at the desk even said to come back at midnight to pick it up! The group of people waiting with us, including my husband and I were completely blown away by this. If an employee isn't gonna be there, don't advertise for a Midnight game release.

Negative experience: There's just no real reason to go here over digital or Amazon anymore. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money at Gamestop since I was a teenager. Maybe it was nostalgia or a sense of loyalty, but I still always go here for all my games and consoles. Most recently, we spent $700+ on a Nintendo Switch, games, and an extra controller. The controller stopped working less than 2 months later. If I had ordered on Amazon, I'd have a new one on the way without wasting time, effort, or gas. Unfortunately, we got everything at Gamestop...so I had to buy another brand new controller while an angry teenage version of Severus Snape who chose acid over magic explains why logic and ethics are no match for corporate policies. Oh well. We had a good run Gamestop. I will try to remember you as you were.

I wish they would bring back the mid night releases or new games we used to have parties at the one by oak park mall. I like this one because its close by and are friendly to talk to. Met a few cool people too during the camp out for PS5.

Positive experience: Good store, one of the workers just made if very uncomfortable by following me around the store after already telling him I didnt need assistance, wasn't talking to me either, made it feel like they thought I was there to steal

Negative experience: They had item online in stock. Went to store employees checked back and said it must be on the shelf then proceeded to sit behind counter while the kids spent twenty minutes looking for item to never find it.

Fantastic experience: I go there all the time for my son and every time I go there all of the employees there are helpful. Today I went in and Clayton was there mean while I had a friend call me from Scotland and I forgot she was going to call for New Years! Why yes she called me at 6:30 my time however it was 2020 where she was at. Clayton was super awesome about it and joined in on the conversation since she face timed me! Thank you Clayton for being a descent human being and Not just a customer representative for GameStop. This will forever be my GameStop home/family.

Positive experience: This gamestop is by far on the upper end of gamestop's but still miles away from being a great place. I came in looking for an copy of Mario Kart for the Wii, one of the staff helped me out and pulled out the "only" copy from behind the counter ... sold it to me ... then realized that, that copy wasn't for sale cause it has a malfunction or whatever. I came back again a month or so later and lucky they had another copy that actually worked.

Negative experience: Employee #1 forgets to put the used game in the case. Employee #2 doesn't bother to offer an apology. This is why I usually only go to the Gamestop on 7 highway. Way better customer service and they dont act like they're put out by things like customers asking questions.

Negative experience: How you going to sell games that been out a year for $50+ yet those same games Amazon sells for $20 to $30. Gamestop's always been a RIP off I cant wait for the day they go out of business which is looking like it's really close now

Fantastic experience: GameStop has really upped their 'game' in the past year or so by consistently stocking their stores with toys, shirts, and more all year around instead of just at Christmas. funko pop vinyl characters, and more that go along with games and theatre movie releases can be found here.

Positive experience: They offer a lot of variety of games for a lot of different game consoles. They also had in stock some older controllers I thought they wouldn't have. The space always seems small for the amount of customers they have in the store. So it can seem a little crowded when trying to browse to find an item.

Positive experience: The games here are usually well stocked and relevant and make the time spent browsing worth it. You can tell that the employees are truly passionate about the games witch really helps the experience. I wish that it wasn't always so crowded but that's not any fault of the store. That's the only reason for the four.
