Positive experience: They have some cool stuff, but customer service is less than desired. This is definitely a more of a flea market feel type store. They aren't very chatty for a retail store with games.

Fantastic experience: One of the great retro stores in San Jose, this store has games from just about every generation (NES to PS5) and a multitude of consoles and accessories! The staff are super helpful, and they'll make sure your games work before purchasing them.

Negative experience: Avoid this store, brought a couple games up and the guy ignored stickered prices and started to check his phone for ebay prices. Planned to charge to me those instead. I just walked out, I'd rather just buy from ebay, what's the point of a local store that ignores sticker prices and just charges the same as ebay?

Negative experience: Not for collectors, most if not half of the items here are fakes. I bought a couple Pokemon games here as well as few SNES games for little above market value “if they were real”. After getting home and opening them up I realize they were fakes and the motherboards were swapped at some point. Either he’s ripping everyone off purposely or probably doesn’t know he’s selling you fakes. If you go there to buy something ask to see inside the game first, if he doesn’t show you then it’s probably fake. If he doesn’t know how to open them then he doesn’t know he’s selling fakes. He won’t tell you they are fake but sell you them for top dollar prices.

Negative experience: Sold me a fake Pokemon Heartgold case. Don’t buy stuff from here if you want it authentic. Especially don’t buy Pokemon stuff from here cuz there’s a good chance it’s fake. I wasted $60 here.

Negative experience: I bought some psp games a few months ago , 3 new and 1 already used with a memory stick . When i try to play them on my PSP none of them work actually , I went back to get my money back n He started arguing with me . Im like brother how are you going to be selling games that don't even work . If you want old game from psp or nitento tds etc, I wouldn't recommend to buy games in here to be honest

Positive experience: This place has so much stuff. So much that it can be slightly ovwrwhelming. Gameboys on top of gameboys, ps2 crammed by ps2s. In some corners it seems unorganized, but for the most part there is some rhyme and reason. Some items I saw were grossly overpriced/higher than ebay. But other items are reasonable. The game I was looking for (Project Phantasma PS1) was about 20 dollars less than pricecharting. So if youre willing to dig, bring a snack cause youll have a lot to go through. I would definitely go back here.

Negative experience: This store has a pretty vast selection of consoles and games and you can get lost in here for hours checking out all the cool stuff but the fact that most of their games and consoles don't have price tags is a huge red flag. We asked how much they wanted for a DS LITE and the guy says "For you, $110" with no games btw. "and it comes with a charger." First of all that's an obviously made up number that he just felt like throwing out there. Secondly, that is way over market price. A DS Lite is worth around $60 and you can likely find them with games as well. He did not want to negotiate. The price gouging here is insane, I also don't like how messy the store is. They have cords and controllers shoved in drawers. They have consoles piled up on top of eachother collecting dust. If they where to clean them up and bundle them with some controllers and games I might actually buy one. It doesn't seem like anyone that works here is actually interested in video games. In short, if you like shops where you can dig around for an hour or two and maybe find a gem then this store is cool. But just know that this place really is over priced and kind of a hassle to shop in. If you're in the area, go to Retro Fix instead.

Fantastic experience: A great store with a great selection of games and tshitrts. They do trade ins and you can sell your old stuff here and get better stuff in return. They told me they are closed on Sundays and Thursdays.

Fantastic experience: Went here on Saturday and had a great time browsing this store. They have tons of consoles and accessories, and more PS2 games than you could imagine. Staff was really nice as well and answered any questions we had. Prices are about the same as what you would find online, with some variance. I ended up buying a complete Dynasty Warriors 5 for $15 and would definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: Gamestop WAS the place for used / older games. Unfortunately they drank the Cooolaid and only see in dollar signs now. Shop here if you are that golden age of growing up with the best

Negative experience: really bad service the lady as always on you back to thinking your going to steal stuff first time i went there it was good bought a lot of things but now i felt very uncomfortable will not visit this place again

Negative experience: Please update opening hours. Google says open Sunday until 6pm but we went today and it was closed. It says “Closed Sundays” on the door.

Negative experience: Came 2 times first he didn't open up at 11am came at 10:50am then came another time June 17 and has a note on the Door that he comes back at 3:30 this is ridiculous I spoke to him on phone and arrived wasting my gas and money worst store ever!

Fantastic experience: He was amazing I bought an Xbox one from him and the disc drive wasn't working and the controller was drifting but he said if I need help come back and it's a 15 minute ride on my bike so I went back and he gave me a new xbox with a working disc drive a new controller and I got some games for my nes 360 and more and tip for new people ask if he has more games for your console cause he has more in the back a lot of the time amazing fast service I'm 100% reccomend he has anything you name from old to new

Negative experience: They sold me a fake PS3/DualShock 3 controller for $40. Even made me buy a charger for it for an extra 10 bucks after I asked if it came with a charger which they said it didn’t when it actually did come with one. Wouldn’t recommend coming here to find a genuine DualShock 3 controller.

Fantastic experience: Really big selection of games at good prices, in a convenient location with good parking. The owner was very nice and went out of his way to find games that I was looking for. Definitely recommend if you are in San Jose.

Fantastic experience: Got a pretty varied selection of games for most consoles. Reasonable prices and super friendly owner; if you ask he'll bring more games out of the back of the store and tests games in front of you to show you they're working. The only other note is that they heavily prefer cash payments as they don't readily have credit payment available. I also recommend you call ahead as their hours are not always consistent with what Google says.

Fantastic experience: This place is a nice little shop to go to if you literally don't have anything to do! (Literally everyone at the moment.) The prices aren't outrageously expensive or outrageously cheap, they're pretty much around the price that anyone can afford! I have no idea they're open during the pandemic... But if they are, it's a nice place to go whenever you want to get a console, controllers, or just a couple games. They sell anything from the Atari 2600, (I think) to the Nintendo switch! (No idea they have in stock) they have a pretty wide variety of things you can select from. The owner is really nice and they even occasionally make deals out of the blue! Five stars!

You can ask to test any of the various games or systems and the owner is always happy to help out. Pretty decent prices and a good selection of whatever you might be looking for.

Fantastic experience: Wow! I almost don't want to post a good review because everyone will take the treasures! This is one of those small mom n pop shops that go on the hunt and bring back their goods to their storefront. Their collection of classics are amazing! They have more original than third party which is a major plus in my buck. This whole little store is crowded but it's like you opened up a time portal to a gamer's closet in 1998. Comin back for sure!

Positive experience: I was shopping for a vintage system and wanted my deciding factor to be based on what games were available at purchase. I had a difficult time making up my mind based off of what was displayed out front, and then the owner figured out my interest, pulled me in the back room and it was gold. Within a few minutes I found just what I was looking for and then some and it was a blast.
