Positive experience: This is a great python go to. Some time there is only one person behind the register and the is a little bit of a wait(5-10 minutes)depending on what the customer is doing at the register.Also it depends on the day and time when it may be busy or not busy.
Fantastic experience: I wanted to point out that the worker Dan was able to assist multiple people in a timely manner while assisting with my big trade in. Had great conversations to pass time. Appreciate his work and effort and would go back to this location for any future help I need!

Fantastic experience: I go to this Gamestop only as it is the best Game Stop in the Bay. The staff, Dan and crew, are very helpful. I go in to buy Pokemon cards all the time and the whole team at this GameStop always have a lot of patience, are very helpful, kind, and go above and beyond. I only shop at this GameStop and wouldn't buy my Pokemon cards anywhere else if it wasn't for the people working the store. There's like 5 workers there maybe 6 that I can say are all extremely stellar. If I can give them 20 stars I would! Go Dan and Crew!!!
Negative experience: I'm very disappointed on how the manager Dan and his team handled the situation. My order of Neopets Mini Game Collection got lost during the shipment. I'm a patient individual so I'm like ok. As long as its before my 5 dollar off monthly coupon expires, we're good. Even his team believes it will arrive before then. At March 31st, after waiting 5 to 10 minutes for service, the manager Dan told me my order hasn't arrived. I'm like ok, I ask what you can you do to turn things around. He said there is nothing he can do, but you can use the 5 dollars off on other games/merch we have. However, there is nothing I want. I feel like that one individual from the Wheel of Fish scene in 1989's UHF. At least one associate mentioned a 5 dollar off discount is serviceable enough for making me wait past the game's launch date. Despite the said associate told me the day after I cancel my preorder of Neopets due to planning on using the April 5 dollar off coupon for Tomodachi Life. I love Gamestop. Its my go to franchise for new and used games. Plus, this was my go to location for the past seven months. I get the fact that losing an entire shipment of games is an extremely rare occurrence. However, due to how Dan and his team poorly handled the situation and how they treated me, I refuse to shop at this location ever again.
Negative experience: This is the second time I’ve dealt with this absolute joke of a fulfillment process. I placed an order first thing in the morning, expecting it to be processed in a reasonable timeframe. Instead, I’m left hanging all day while my money is tied up, only to receive a notification hours later saying the item is "no longer available." Well, obviously it’s no longer available—you took eight hours to look at a screen! While your team was dragging their feet, people walking into the store were likely buying the stock right out from under my order. The customer service is nonexistent and the employees clearly have zero urgency when it comes to online fulfillment. If you actually want the item you’re paying for, don't bother using their website. They’ll just waste your time and give you a "too bad" notification at the end of the day. Get it together, GameStop.

Negative experience: The collection is pretty good and some of the staff are really super helpful. Avoid this particular staff member called Karan who is quite rude and never makes an effort to be friendly towards customers. Purchased games and he never keyed in the account details neither did he ask for a phone number as I am a member and eligible for the benefits. Any other staff barring Karan are decent and helpful. This guy is lazy and gets irritated when asked questions.
Fantastic experience: This GameStop is well stocked, opens early and has very friendly and helpful staff. I get to visit a few times a year and they usually have a great selection of pre-owned, retro and new games. Just really appreciate that they have earlier opening hours compared to a lot of other game shops.

Fantastic experience: Called in to check for the switch 2 availability, they answered quickly and was ensured they have enough left, Went there and it was a relatively short line. 5 stars for being the only game stop in the bay area (trust me, i checked all) that has a switch 2 stock. The Store has an okay nintendo games selection with pre-owned games offer being the only thing worth your time if you are a Nintendo fan.
Negative experience: GameStop is supposed to open at 8 AM today and I’ve been waiting outside of the store for more than 20 minutes. The doors are still locked and gated.
Negative experience: Slow as hell! Got manager who just idles around No support for increasing line service. Want to buy a small item and stuck for more than 30 mins.

Fantastic experience: This review is for the guy that helped me out today, Thomas. I've been to this GameStop many times over the past 10+ years but today's experience was definitely one of the most pleasant ones (not saying there were any negative experiences). I had brought in several old gaming systems along with a total of ~40 games to trade-in. Thomas was efficient, courteous, fun to talk to, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. He doesn't waste your time and also doesn't try to upsell you things that aren't worth their value. He worked well under some pressure due to a line forming from having to handle all my stuff as their other register was down. If I could tip the man I would but unfortunately, rules I suppose. Thank you for a easy and pleasant experience!

Fantastic experience: I was in and out in a heartbeat. The employee was super helpful. They had the joy-con for the Nintendo Switch in stock. Nintendo needs to make better Joy-cons because this is the second or third one I had to replace. I can't recall.
Negative experience: The staff here are so rude. I come in pretty often because I work close by. The store is closed during the middle of a workday on a saturday at 5pm and i see employees goofing around inside, they're either on the phone with their friends or someone talking about things other than games and work related things pretty dang often, I'll say hello and they won't say anything at all, I'll say have a great day on my way out and nothing is said back just silence, I'll ask a question and get an exhausted response. These kids need to be fired.
Negative experience: They do not follow the work schedule, they closed earlier. I was in the store, I chose games, but they did not sell them to me at 8.01 pm, according to the schedule they work until 9 pm! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: This is my local GameStop location. I have been here 3 times in the last 3 months and each experience has been consistent and informative. I ordered a game to be delivered while in store as well and it came very quickly. Paul is quite knowledgeable about games and has assisted me each time.

Negative experience: Was sent here from the Homestead location for a product I was told was in stock. Took me 15 minutes to get here and was told sold 45 minutes prior. With technology as it is and in silicon valley. A true live inventory system should be a bit more realistic. Waste of gas and time. 3 employees working and can only say oh well.

But rarely you’ll see an employee that really has a thing for games and that's great to see. Negative experience: Do not go to this store the assistant store manager is quite hostile. I went in to inquire about the xbox series x and there were none nor any idea of when they would come in so I asked if I could cash out the gift card to get cash instead and the manager seemed upset that I even asked he said no I then asked if I could purchase items leaving 10 on the card so I could cash out and he then called his store manager asking him if he should call security on me instead he calls police instead all because I had a question about cashing out a gift card. Clearly this business is not doing well if they can't even cash out a gift card because they can't keep stock of a console which is the main purpose of gamestop. Do not spend your money here the people have always been a problem you can check youtube for former employees stating the condition of the working environment and they are never good. There is a reason this company almost went bankrupt stocks are the only thing keeping them a float now cuz its never been customer service. They do not want to make customers feel welcome so do not go in if you have any kind of problem they will not want to help.

Child crying because his mom couldn't get his birthday gift. I had comformation of my order ready for pickup. So did everyone else. Your customers deserve better. If you need to close or dont have support. Closed the store permanently. This store closing early only caused much greater issues. Not ok. Very disappointed. This is on GAMESTOP not the store. You need to do better as a company. You have managment. Up them in the store. Hire new staff. I dont care. Dont close earlier EVER. After conforming order are ready for pickup. Now should be ashamed GAMESTOP.

He went above and beyond making sure I had everything I wanted, including letting me know that a product I wanted was slightly damaged and recommending another one, as well as looking for box art when he couldn't find the case for the game I was buying. Great customer service and great inventory, definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Poor customer service, knowingly wasted my time because the employees are lazy. Items were damaged or used returns and one employee wanted to sell me as new. I wont shop at Gamestop any longer, with so many options for what they sale, I dont have to be treated poorly to buy game related products.
Positive experience: Manager is rude and unethical. I came to buy a Nintendo system that was the last one available 5 minutes before I entered in the store. The manager told me that a friend of him just bought it! When I faced him saying that is not possible because I was outside of the store waiting and nobody came in or out he started to yeall at me in front of my children. This was the first time I was going to buy at this place and certainly I will never do it because of the lack of modals and that this kids working there sell to themselves instead to real costumers.

Negative experience: Couldn’t get a refund for an unopened item with a gift receipt. Apparently the gift receipts that they themselves issue, do not have all the information that they need. These guys are awful; this is why GameStop is not doing so well.

Fantastic experience: I am not a gamer. I used to be pretty good at video games. I was the cousin that was called in on difficult levels of star fox back in the summer of '94. That being said, I am a wondering idiot it comes to games these days and what I should and shouldn't know about them. I like this games stop because it has a good mix of well informed reps. And they are all very patient with areal my father questions. "How much violence? Is there sexual objectification of characters? Would you let you little brother play this?" And every time they answer as best they can and point me in areal safe direction. And they don't even make fun of me for when I ask about the latest Kirby game coming out. Thanks game stop peeps, keep up the good work!
Negative experience: Reserved an item on-line and after getting email confirmation that the item was ready, I drove across town to pick it up. Once I got there the associate apologized and told me it was a system error they actually didn’t have what I wanted in stock. This was a complete waste of my time.
