Negative experience: I went to trade in a game system and it needed a software update. I was instructed I needed to drive home and update it myself because their internet didn’t support it. This was after the device was verified to be working. An awful customer experience.

Fantastic experience: My Roommate bought im PlayStation 4 on Facebook MarketPlace. The console came without games and he looked for a game store and found this one. Last week he bought a Resident EV game and it didn't work, he thought it might be the CD went back and replaced it with another one that didn't work again. It was there that for the second time he returned to the place to return the product, he was very well attended and had his money back. I was present on that second return.

Fantastic experience: Love this one tucked out of the way cleaner and more organized than 60% of most games stops if you like Funko Pop LLC collectors great collection 3 shelves full and not out of reach most game stops people hide Pops they want all over like an Easter egg hunt . All items neatly are in order and separated if you like Star Wars black series easy-to-use center stand also marvel action figures center stand video games on the walls. Organized by type. I got a series 1 red light saber series Funko Pop for 20.00 normally 32.00 . I'll show quick photos of some I bought summer sale on pops. Closed earlier 6pm and I had a issues with it just economy is forced more to do it. Sincerely sid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went into this gamestop on a ehim, and to our surprise and delight found several funko pops that caught our attention that'd we'd otherwise overlooked elsewhere! Was extremely pleased with my Red Series Darth Maul GITD to add to our collection of "pops" (which finding Darth Maul is a hard enough task in itself!) The gentleman Derek, was extremely friendly, kind, and even tho the store closed at 7pm he did NOT rush us, nor was rude or shoved us out the door, and I thank him for that!! Clean and upbeat store, and will return again for another "funko pop" hunt!!! Again, thanks Derek for your help and kindness!!!

Negative experience: Used to love going her unfortunately not the case pre order a ps5 in full. Didn't have a ride that day. When I came for it the manager sold it to an employee for her nephew and said I was short out of luck

Fantastic experience: The employees are usually really nice & helpful. Will answer your questions to the best of their ability. Last time we were there, we had to trade in my son's Xbox controller because it messed up on him. They didn't have any my son wanted I don't think. The person helping us ordered another one & was able to have it shipped to us. It was a Minecraft one I believe. He liked it. This is my favorite store of the few I've been to around Charlotte.

Fantastic experience: Went to browse games since I haven’t been in awhile. I haven’t been playing much lately but noticed a game that I did want to try. When I went to go pay I was told that they had a special going on with used games. When I asked her what other games to try out she gave me about 4 different options that were very interesting. I asked about each game and she explain and even showed me gameplay on one of them. She pretty much sold me the game which I had heard of but never had a chance to look up. Great customer service and very friendly. I definitely recommend going here the staff was fantastic!!!!

Negative experience: I tried to call yesterday to see if an item was in stock, called about three times no answer. So I’ll wait till today I call again, this time about five times so I don’t waste my time driving all the way to the store for a product that’s not in stock. Once again no answer. So I went to the store decided to give them a call while I was in the store to see if they would answer I watch the employee hit silence on the phone and just ignore it. I don’t know the employees name but he has blue hair and had no care for customer service whatsoever. Great job gamestop, You guys really know how customer service is done. This is coming from someone who’s working hospitality for the past 15 years and knows what it should be.

Fantastic experience: Walked in for gaming headphones. Was greeted and show the way. Another employee came up to me and asked my budget and then proceeded to give me excellent advise on which pair was best. I got them and he even helped me pick out some used games that had a great deal! Super pleased didn't feel like I was talked into anything!

Negative experience: Short-story: Profiled as a thief Long-story: I went in to buy a couple of 3ds games for my son. I told the cashier which games they were. She goes to retrieve the games. She places them on the front counter in front of me. One game was new in package. The other was used and in an envelop. Then she says that she needs to get the case for the used game. After she says that, she takes both games off the front counter and places them behind her on the back counter. This action communicated to me that she thought I was a thief. I take offense to that. Btw there was an employee behind the counter watching this and tons of cameras. I wont be purchasing items from this store anymore, since im obviously not welcomed.

Negative experience: SCAM ALERT!!! I set up an order for pickup online to avoid paying shipping, it's an older game so buying one new would only be $29.99. I did specify that the game be new in the pickup order. They tried to sell me a used one for the same price! Once I arrived to the store, I noticed that the cardboard cover had some wear and tear. Me: Is this used? I ordered a new one. Employee: It's new, it was just on display. Me: It looks used *pulls off cover* and there is no plastic seal. Employee: Um... Me: *opens case and removes CD* and it has smudges. This isn't new. Employee: Well it's the only one we have. Me: But I ordered I new one and I drove all the way here. And you are trying to sell this at the new game price of $29.99. I called Customer Service to report this and they offered to send the game with free shipping after this happened. Don't let them take you for a ride, worst GameStop I've been to!

Negative experience: Worst GameStop I ever dealt with when is the new game release and it comes out at 9 and you call find out cuz you're thought it was 10 and you get there by 9:30and they want to be closed up and people in their do not let you get your game that you pay for. At pointer rather get my games from Walmart. And the lady with the red hair or blonde was so rude

Negative experience: Preordered here, tried calling the store with a question, no answer. For 2 days. Got tired of calling, so I figured I'd just transfer my preorder to a different store. Went to transfer, they told me i had to go to the new store to get it transferred. Went to the new store and guess what? They had to call the old store to get the transfer done. And guess what? No answer. Now I gotta drive back and forth between 2 stores to get my preorder transferred. Last time I deal with gamestop.

Negative experience: Decided to give GameStop another chance after a couple of years. I’ve attempted to purchase from them twice and both times were terrible. I called to ask a question and was put on hold and eventually hung up on (3 times in a row). I went into the store another time and talked to an extremely unhelpful and borderline rude staff member. Safe to say I learned my lesson and will never shop at GameStop ever again.

Fantastic experience: staff makes for great conversation. shared NNIDs with one of them. very friendly staff with a pokestop right outside, and even a few tournaments from time to time. if you see a guy with blonde hair and brings his switch into work for breaks, you're going to love him. he's very funny.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service! We came in 15 till closing with a very happy son, ready to spend his lemonade money. The manager was awesome, he and the sales associate helped my bouncy one, not checking their watches ready to go. They helped him get the best deals with for his money. The manager gave us his personal outlet charger, so that we could use the usb charger we bought from the store. We will be back for sure!

Negative experience: So while I was searching for a game for my brothers birthday this very nice employee walked up to my girlfriend and I and was very polite and funny when trying to help us. I wish I could remember her name because she's the only reason I gave this a TWO star! There was another worker there, who I believe was the manager on duty, and he was a complete d***head! I recall him saying something rather loud in the store to his coworker that probably should've been said in privacy to where customers couldn't hear, but I guess he felt otherwise. When I was checking out with my games I'm buying he asked me for my ID ( the one right thing this man did while I was there ) I told him I didn't have on me and that my girlfriend was paying but she wondered off looking at accessories for our game system. The "manager on duty" then took my two games that I was buying and threw them onto the counter behind him ( a good 5-10 feet away ) and I told him that my girlfriend had her ID on her and he looked at me like I was dumb. So she showed her ID to him and he said " well alrighty then" like he was annoyed. So he got the two games that he threw behind him and I finished my purchase. BUT within my purchase I renewed my pro membership account, which I've had for about 5-6 years now, and the worker asked if I wanted a digital or paper copy of a magazine, and in my head in like 'oh cool, I just renewed my account and now I get a cool magazine for free', little did I know that I was going to be paying a $25 subscription for game informer....I literally renewed my subscription with the points in my account so that I would be able to save a few bucks with my Pro Membership but this jacka** didn't inform me that I would be paying $25 for magazines that I'll probably just glimpse at them throw them away. Honestly, all the years I've been a gamer and big fan GameStop, this visit has totally ruined my attraction to this store. This was the first time that I've even been looked at and treated like garbage by a GameStop employee, let alone a manager. Absolutely terrible!

Positive experience: I hate the trade values are way less then what you paid for and that GTAV is still $60 but everything else is find. Also the PS4 headsets are way to much money. $300 for one headset. Lower the prices GameStop. Let me sell you my games for the original price.
