He patiently answered every question I had, offered great recommendations, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Negative experience: Store closed for 2 days. NEVER make a pre-order here! I watched the fedex delivery person leave a note on the window because the store was closed when I came to pick up my game. This is absolutely unprofessional.

Negative experience: Put down payments on multiple preorders about 2 weeks before the release dates, called and went beforehand and asked about said preorders and was told they were in transit, about a day after the supposed release date I called and went in person only to find out the arrived a week beforehand and due to their “48 hour hold” my preorders were then shipped to other customers, awful return policies, and awful service especially from David. Would never recommend shopping at this location or any for that matter.

Negative experience: traded in a perfectly well kept system, was even asked if I ever took it out of the box, but was ultimately considered 'damaged' since the guy checking the system didn't push in the power cable all the way into the power slot - so when he moved the system while turned on, of course it shut itself off. I even told him to push it in all the way since that's what happed, but he said 'just to be safe' he would consider it damaged... only takes one not so nice experience to lower this location's reputation, probably should have gone to the Cotswold or Woodlawn location, have had better trade-in experiences there.
Positive experience: While the place is supposed to be open till 8 and they were closed at 7:36pm the other day, the staff is very friendly and chill. I appreciate it.

Negative experience: Call the store 4 times to ask about a video game and 4 times I hang up. I went to the store and saw how the call to other costumer callers hung up. The same man from the register just told me in a bad tone, if I didn't reserve it, I couldn't sell it. so that they have the boxes of the video game living them in the rack I bought it on Amazon and from now on I will continue buying it. Very bad service.♂️
Negative experience: Well I should have looked at the reviews before I went here yesterday. It has been over a year since I visited this location and let's just say the previous employee was way better. So my husband and I go in here looking for a controller after about 10 minutes looking at the same thing and he looked over several times without saying anything we go to checkout the employee says oh sorry I'm out of all controllers no you are not sorry if he would have did his job when we first came in as to a formal welcome and how can I help you all this could have been avoided . And with the conversation he was having I sensed slight prejudice and if that's how he truly feel he needs to find a job in another area seemingly since this area is 80% people of color. If corporate sees this this man needs to be removed asap

Fantastic experience: I love my gamestop. The manager never met a stranger lol the employees are top notch as far as industry knowledge and like 95% of them have awesome personalities too. Surrounded by a wide variety of other stores makes parking troublesome at times, but the ability to also complete many daily errands in one location while getting games makes up for the lost time looking for parking.

Positive experience: This was the only GameStop I’ve been in that has an announcement about theft. It was a little off putting, but pretty typical game store.
Negative experience: I called saturday about the time and date for the release of a game. The information I was told didn't seem correct so I asked again and was told that indeed the first date and time I was given would be when I could pick the game up. Because I've been coming here a long time and I know the rules of retail I called again on sunday just to make sure. I was again told the game would come out at 9pm on Monday night when they close. So, since I called twice I got off work early because I was excited for said game. I get to the store at 8:40 to be told that I was given the wrong information and that I will have to comeback tomorrow and pick it up. Then why did I call twice and make sure that the game came out when y'all said it would before I took off work early?

DO NOT give this GameStop your business, go down the road to South Blvd or Cotswold.

Also, when you walk in there's this recording regarding security and how the store is being monitored, why is it that this location is the only store (that I know of )with that type or recording? The one on South Blvd does have that type recording...it's ridiculous. Spend your money elsewhere.

Negative experience: Walmart is next door, has all the same games, and will give you a better customer experience. This store is the reason I stopped going to Gamestop. Management needs an extreme overhaul.
Negative experience: Never again!! Never received any service because they are obviously so short staffed. Everytime I walk into this store the line is long and there is only one employee. Hiw can anyone receive service with one employee and that employee must work the register. Smh!!
