Fantastic experience: Stopped in the other night before closing for a ps4 for my godson. The guys here were so helpful and had all the info about everything!Got home and it didn't work properly so came back today Xmas eve and got it swapped out checked it out and was on my way!! We appreciate it and we'll definitely be back soon.

Negative experience: Don't buy digital games/products here. Got a digital dlc code and the receipt printer doesn't work properly, so the code was unreadable. Wasn't able to get the code to work and the store nor support was able to help me. Couldn't get refund so just wasted my money. Staff is friendly and welcoming, but only reccomend getting physical products here.

Fantastic experience: I walked in, and the games did indeed stop. A feral pokemon player hissed at me. Would go again. Bring sword and shield for defense or pokemon treats..

Negative experience: He was trying to sell me a gamestop warranty for a ps5 controller. I asked him if Sony already has a warranty that comes with it (I haven't had a console in a while and am out of touch) and he either lied, or was uninformed because he said no, so I bought it. It's the first thing I saw when I opened the box at home. I'm sure it's just what he's told to do by his boss, and I'm not after anyone's job, or anything like that, but c'mon, man. Not cool.

Fantastic experience: Called this location looking for a specific kind of data cable, and the manager was helpful in letting me know they didn't have them in stock but that there were other options available for me. I greatly appreciate the time he provided to help me and his kindness should not go undocumented. Thanks for your help Austin, hope your day finished smoothly.

Fantastic experience: GameStop on North Pearl Street in Tacoma Washington has an amazing magic the gathering event attended one on September 14th 2024 it was very well organized and had a blast hoping that they bring more events like this in the future

Fantastic experience: I'm just going to call the lady that helped me rainbow Brite, because she was very colorful, outgoing and helpful. She took the time to help me find a lost account, took the time to help me to find more of the product I was looking for. In a world that seems to have lost customer service, it's nice to find these rare gems! I would definitely recommend this store to anybody who's into gaming or looking for any of the products that they carry.

Positive experience: This store deserves a 1-star experience, from a nightmare involving trying to replace my broken copy of Metroid Prime: Remastered (GameStop delivered a broken copy of the game to me initially), but Rose from that store eventually was super helpful and nice, and is the only redeeming thing about this company in my last 3 years of being a customer. The online order was completely screwed up, they charged me twice, and started a return order without my consent. The other day Rose called me, set aside a copy just for me, and then when I came in to swap out the game, she not only replaced it but canceled the glitched 2 transactions that GameStop customer support had screwed up. So she alone is the reason this is not a 1-star review. She should be promoted or given a raise.

Will definitely return to this store!

Fantastic experience: I went in to replace some joycons. I had no problem getting them changed out. Was greeted when i came in. (and the gentleman was helping someone else.) While he was helping me, he greeted other costumers. I didn't feel like i was being rushed to finish my purchase. Overall great experience.

Positive experience: Took my ten-year-old son pick up a game and the game he wanted was not at that location. I say location because the very helpful staff looked it up found it called and reserved it for me at another location.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I are very well known for this store. The staff is very friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and they have great humor. I'm not just saying this because they're great, but also advising people to get to know the staff. They are just like everyone else, yes they may work for gamestop, but they have to work and earn a living too. Be easy on them and the reviews you give. If you really get to know and socialize with the staff you'd come to realization they are great people and know their stuff. Prices are great, may not be fully stocked like most gamestops but its a start and a true convenience for those who live close by. I will miss this location alot come July when move. The manager Dillion and of his associates Sam are the best and very accommodating!

Positive experience: Good place to pick up a new game, I wouldn't trade anything in unless there is a promotion, but you're still better off selling through eBay or offerup if you want to put in the extra work. Some of the staff are sometimes rude, but not too bad overall.

Fantastic experience: GameStop is usually by choice for used game purchases due to the discounts sigh their loyalty program and their return policy which allows a 7 day return period on all used games so if you don't end up liking game you can get a different one or your money back. Unless you get some neat swag by preordering games, don't. Preordering doesn't give you an advantage (but it helps out your associate if you're feeling good-willed). If you purchase games or accessories often their Pro Program gets you 10% off all used merchandise and an additional 10% in trade credit for merchandise you bring in which adds up overtime.

Negative experience: So I called to ask about the prices for the 3 DS's I'm Jake the customer service representative or something like that or store I don't know what he is he answered the phone and when I was trying to talk to him he is being rude and unprofessional by thing like you can hear me or so and then started you know talking over me and then more disrespectful more disrespectfully he started to have conversations with other people while I was on the phone with him until Ira if I ever need like a game or something like that I would definitely not be going to that store because that poor customer service

After being a GameStop store manager for 17+ years, this is not how you treat your customers. I will buy somewhere else.

But when I asked the sales girl if they had an item that was used or cheaper then what they had displayed she said no then I was browsing around the store and found the same item new and $20.00 cheaper then what she showed me. So make sure to look and not just take their word.

Negative experience: Have been to this location a few times and each time has been horrible. One of the worst was when I overheard an employee telling a customer a flat out lie so they could make a sale. Horrible horrible staff here.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy all GameStop's as my experience has shown that all their staff at all locat i ns tgus far are helpful and knowledgeable. I value the staff's input on games and their professionalism when offering advice on upgrades, memberships, up-comimg games etc..i have no idea if GameStop as a franchise has a hiring/training policy guidelines, but any store I've gone to their associates are legit. Thank you GameStop.
