Negative experience: Never sell your games or consoles here they only give 20 percent of what they sell for on eBay so even if you have CIB or country exclusive rare consoles sell them elsewhere this place rips you off horrible business practices their profit margins according to the associate I spoke to on the phone is 80 PERCENT AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Negative experience: Customer Service sucks

Negative experience: We were ready to spend about $400 in the store. Seeking retro games like a sega and maybe a Nintendo with games. Unfortunately the young men didn’t have a clue with it came to connectivity with older games to modern TV. Simply didn’t want to be bothered. They tried to see us a Sega with missing components or pieces. When we had questions about would it impact the gaming experience (no could be answered) We just needed an explanation. We ended up just buying an adaptor and sega controller.

Fantastic experience: Very cute store, tons of games from different generations. Reminds me of going into a gamestop as kid. Great stop to look around at old consoles and memorabilia

Negative experience: Been in here plenty of times and never bought anything but I’ve been looking for a copy of gta 4 so I was super excited because it was the first thing I saw in the store but sadly when I went home to play I put it in the console and it was a unreadable disk… hopefully I can return it and get a new copy! If that’s the case and the game is I’m working order I will be updating my review because even tho the game didn’t work they had good customer service and it was overall a cool store

Negative experience: Took over an hour to get 12 games comped for trade in, valued at over $200 and was offered $30 cash! Insane greed from the owners. I don’t blame the worker for this but she could have done a better job managing her time helping me and other customers. She kept walking away from our exchange to help other customers even though I was there first.

Negative experience: Initially impressed with the great nostalgia gaming selection. We were prepared to buy an NES with several games. The woman behind the counter asked us is our elderly cocker spaniel was a service dog. We said no he isn't she then said he can't be in the store. There were no signs. The workers Karen attitude and desire to push petty authority lost the store a significant purchase. Will never go in there again. EBay and Amazon will get the sales instead.

Fantastic experience: Stumbled upon this shop the other day and I was able to find a psp battery and charger! The guy at the front was incredibly helpful. He found the exact battery my specific psp model needed. I hadn’t seen my psp power on for over 9 years! I’m very happy with the overall experience of shopping here.

Negative experience: I see why they it call game over, game over experience for everyone involved, including their employees. They have no clue how to operate a business or treat their employees or customers. Avoid this place and shop elsewhere, a small business nearby, where people are treated with at least some dignity and respect. Supporting local people too.

Positive experience: A lot of old stuff

Fantastic experience: Huge selection of peripherals and titles for tons of retro consoles, with a smaller selection for those of yesteryear. Store is organized very well, with separate consoles and their respective generations arranged in ascending order from the back of the store. Small cabinets with a few shelves each are dedicated to featuring rarer titles, most in great condition, as well as a handful of accessories (like rare or promotional controllers). They also carry a selection of vinyl records of video game music (most of which I personally did not recognize, but would likely be appreciated by those who do) and a wall of retro consoles on display in glass cabinets with details about said console. The store's offerings are priced very reasonably, with rarer titles obviously costing more. I, personally, managed to nab an in-the-box copy of Metal Gear Solid for the original Playstation for 40 dollars, which seemed a wondrous deal for the good condition of the packaging and discs, on top of the series' legendary status. All in all, this store is a welcomed addition to the array of stores in the Tacoma Mall. The staff was helpful, kind and cooperative. The atmosphere of the store is great, and I found myself chuckling at the choice of music that played over the speakers. I have only visited once thus far, but having found it I greatly look forward to making return visits to browse their selection.

Fantastic experience: Need a vintage game or game system... this is the place to go better prices than online or anywhere else I've been for sure... and if you sign up for their points program the points never expire and you can stack up a decent amount of them... by the way great customer service

Negative experience: Bought multiple different things for my xbox 360 from here and all of it was broken....when I asked to test it in store after coming in for the third time i was told no trust us it works....loan an behold I get home and it doesn't work. Over payed for a new Xbox 360 get it home and surprise surprise it doesn't work and they're return policy is garbage they refuse to give you money back only store credit. If you want to buy broken stuff go there but I will not be returning and I'd rather go spend my money on Facebook market place

Negative experience: Extremely limited and overpriced inventory. Profit margins are beyond typical. I purchased a product that turned out to be defective, that's fine, very common for retro games. But upon returning it I was given only store credit. I would understand that if this was a return for any other reason, but for a defective product? If I purchased a product under false pretenses then you received my money under false pretenses, and should not be expected to keep it. Extremely scummy business tactic that I have not seen anywhere else. They have no iventory worth buying, so my store credit recipt sits collecting dust, and they've kept my unearned money. There are many competitors in the area with much more consumer friendly practices, shop around and you'll see.

Fantastic experience: Staff is amazing here I'm a frequent buyer here ever since they were in the old location of the mall. I had bought 3 games and one wasn't working so I went back the worker resurfaced the disc for free and I went home and sadly still didn't work. The game was a PS2 game and is pushing almost 20 years old so it was to be expected. The staff turned It into instore credit and I got 3 new games for the price of the broken one all of which work.

Fantastic experience: This place brings back nostalgic memories.

Negative experience: Initially started out as 5 stars, quickly turned into 1 star. This is by far the coolest store I've been to in the Washington area. It was a wonderful trip down nostalgia lane and I can tell whoever owns the store is a hardcore gamer who takes his hobby very serious. Unfortunately the employee who was working there during my visit behaved as if I was bothering him. I don't spend money where my presence is not wanted.

Negative experience: No longer accepting trades for cash (or possibly at all) on weekends, said I could come back on Monday. Not everyone has the option to drive over the bridge after work during the week. Very poor business decision, I doubt I'll be shopping here anymore.

Fantastic experience: I'll start with art... I always make it a point to stop in and check out the art gallery in the back of the store. We at ReiRaz Craft try to keep a steady supply of art for patrons, who seem to enjoy our pieces. As for the game selection... They have a fairly good section of older generations of games and the staff are all very supportive and helpful, if any questions arise.

Negative experience: Loved this place. Bought a ps3, and a dozen games over the last couple years. Bought a controller a few days back, finally got a chance to try it out and it didn't work 6/5 2022 12pm (new store manager). Was looking for the receipt, and called the store to see if they could exchange/refund it without one. She doesnt know how anything works, she took my name and number, said she would call in 15 minutes after the next employee came in. 1 hour later I'm still looking for the receipt, and no call back.so I called again, she put me on hold, because she still didn't know how things work, I found the receipt, waited 10 minutes on hold and still no answer, so I hung up, tried to call again, no answer. So I drove in. I got there said I had the receipt, they asked if I wanted an exchange or refund, I said refund, and she went in on how they do not do refunds. I said I'd write a bad review, that I've spent a few hundred there, and that they would lose a customer. She approved the refund, started on 1 register, had to move to another, then had to start over because again she had no idea on how to run things. Again this was sunday 5/6/2022 manager 12pm, and refused to tell me her name when I talked about a bad review. Thinks were finished, and I was going to go on my way, keep but she started up again on treating me rudely, saying I will never be helped in the future on any other bad product they sale me So yeah here's your bad review, also called corps number. Learn to be nice to people, that store was awesome, always had great and friendly people

Negative experience: Just going to say since they moved stores they were very rude and i beileve unfair about returns and very strict on their return policy even if the item is sealed this is a cheap business practice and terrible sales attitude in store.

Fantastic experience: They have a great selection of video games, and accessories. So many titles! Their staff is also very knowledgeable and if they don't have an immediate answer, they are courteous, and professional in getting you answers. They have a points system and offer emails, and have a sale each month. They are preparing to move from one spot in the mall, to a larger space in the mall, so the next couple weeks will be hectic for them. 02/2022

We still bought the store one as it was still in box. His advice worked as well and now we have two copies of this golden game.

Negative experience: Just left after an employee loudly and rudely chastised a customer for scratching their nose with their mask down SLIGHTLY. I don't care if it's store or mall policy and I have no problem with masks, there is no need to act like scratching your nose is going to cause a bomb to explode in the store, just shop online, its not worth the impolite customer treatment and acting like we're barn yard animals.
