Negative experience: DONT GO HERE, BAD EXPERIENCE ALMOST EVERY TIME. I walked in to the store and there were 5 or so other people there, though they were just browsing. They left shortly after, about 5 mins. I was standing at the counter for 15 more minutes as the associate was playing a PS2 game and would periodically stop to check his phone. I get if he's testing it out or whatever but he didn't say hi, didn't greet me, didn't say a word, didn't even acknowledge me. I turned and walked out - still with no acknowledgement.
Fantastic experience: Very comfy store, people were playing Mario Party 64 and were very welcoming and knowledgeable, amazing selection of retro and new games at shockingly low prices, 3DS Legend of Zelda games for 20 bucks? Yes please! Great place, highly recommend stopping by.

Fantastic experience: Great retro game store, I’ve been going to this retro game store here and there for around 15 years. Haven’t had many problems with the retro products I’ve bought overall, and I haven’t had issues with individuals working there. As time goes though you never know who will move on in a different direction or who starts working there. I’m glad it’s back in session.

Negative experience: I stopped in to pick up a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. Got home started the install on my series X and I was notified that the game was scratched or dirty. After further inspection I noticed that there was a deep scratch. No biggie, took it in and the younger kind was helpful and tried to resurface it. Unfortunately he used the wrong pad and made the disc worse. He quietly said “oh shit” handed me the disk hoping I wouldn’t check it. When I was in my car I inspected it and noticed the circular scratches around the disk and took it back in and ended getting a cheaper game and the rest for in store credit. He tired so that was nice. Trying to pull a fast one on me, that lost my respect. a recommendation from another game lover, check the games better that people trade in. Seems like a ongoing issue I’ve noticed in other reviews. Also don’t try to screw over your customers. I would have been cool to get something else still if he was honest.
Positive experience: Bought red dead redemption two and the play disc doesn’t work. Very disappointed. Going back for a refund update: I came back 2 weeks later a different employee was working there super nice fixed the disc for free.
Negative experience: They have a nice tainted glass with a sign that says "Ask about this glass!", So we did, and their answer was "I don't know the price, but it's very expensive". What kind of unprofessional and lazy answer is that? That store has 1 or 2 interesting things, but their customer service is horrible.

They told me 6 months to pay off my repaired xbox and I kept calling them over and over and they ignored me, til finally they answered 4 months later saying "it's ours now and we're keeping ur elite 2 controller and elden ring game!" they're thieves don't let them touch your systems they never said 30 days or it's ours, I have a phone recording of them saying 6 months! I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. THEIVES!

They take consoles for repair- give you inaccurate information about how long it will take to repair ( up to 2 weeks) then Owner (who is the IT guy) has an awful demeanor when asked about the status of the equipment that has not been fixed for 3 WEEKS!!! Said he IS NOT A MAGICIAN, then when get answered that I didn’t take the consolé to a circus, I’m being told that they are returning the equipment to me without being fixed- So- NOW I have to wait ANOTHER 5 days - to pick up the same. Irresponsible/ Rude/ Not Recommended.

Positive experience: Guy working was cool, but their offers for trade ins on consoles is a joke. They offered $150 credit or $125 cash for a Xbox one X 1tb, whereas CD trade post offered $210 cash, or $225 credit, and GameStop offers $280 in store credit, or $224 cash. Sad because Gamers used to offer top dollar on trade ins. I took my console and left. The only reason I didn’t use CD trade post is they weren’t able to test the system due to internet issues. I’m disappointed gamers isn’t what it used to be

Negative experience: I am not fake can show anyone my receipt. Never shop here they are thieves and will rip you off. i have reported them to the better business bureau If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a new power cord for my Xbox one and a used headset that they guaranteed would work they test them all out on 8-7-21 get home and waste over an hour trying to get this headset to work that clearly doesn’t work and they sold me the wrong power cord. 8-9-21 less than 12 hours later I go to return the wrong power cord they sold me and exchange the headset that didn’t work. They made me wait 40 minutes while they try to get the broken headset to work that doesn’t work. Then they tell me I have to buy a more expensive headset because they don’t have the same one and they won’t return the wrong power cord they sold me only buy it back from me I paid $30 they will buy it back for $5.00 so I paid $54 and now I owe another $4 for the increase in the headphone price. So what’s should have cost me 36.37 has now cost me $58.68 . Called the complaint line and manager hung up on me because he said I was being rude because I didn’t want to listen to his capatibility store when this had nothing to do with a captibility issue but selling a broken headset and the wrong cord was the issue. Never shop here they are thieves.

Fantastic experience: Tonight I called the store to confirm there was a copy of Pokemon SoulSilver coming in tomorrow and Max told me it was on the shelves. I rushed across town where Max directed me to the game, but he also wisely suggested I check out what else they had under the glass. I was very fortunate for this advice because I was able to purchase my most sought-after game, Pokemon HeartGold, after over a year of searching. So lucky to have crossed this store's path tonight and so grateful from the incredible help from Miracle Max! Will definitely be coming back with service and product like this.

Negative experience: We dropped off a nintendo switch for repair and paid a non-refundable deposit towards the repair cost. We were promised we would have it back within 2 days for the birthday of the child it belongs to. We didnt hear back from anyone there in just over a week. We stopped by the store to check on it 10 days later; they could not find it, or any record of it in their system. After more than a month passed, we again contacted the store. This time they said it had made it back to the store on the 26th. We were informed that the switch was not repairable. The representative who answered the phone told us he did not know why we had not been called since the switch made it back to the store. The good news was that we didn't owe anything further for labor or parts. Then, we were informed we had a week or so to pick up the broken switch before it would be disposed of.

We called to request MarioKart in the morning and it was not in stock yet, but Max called us back as soon as the shipment came in to make sure we knew he had it in stock. Not too many places seem to do things like that anymore, but Max did a great job of driving business, and even suggested a few other relevant items when we came in to pick it up. Thanks Max!

Positive experience: The team there was nice the repair was done quickly but my challenge comes from be quoted $60 to $80 max on a repair then was billed $115. When I asked the cashier why there was a difference I was told "dont know just what the repair sheet says". Again no issue with time and service, just the mark up that was well above the quote % wise. Just a note to repair people to make sure you get a quote in writing. Though once they have your device not sure what can be done.

Negative experience: Tried to purchase 4 used games. The total was much higher than it should have been. I questioned why the total was so high the employee looked at the totals for each and said the prices went up and people didn't do their jobs and reprice the item. He just looked at me until I asked if he was going to honor the sticker price and he said he couldn't change the price of them item. I messaged the Facebook account asking for a managers name and it was read and ignored. Most ridiculous and unprofessional place I've ever been
Negative experience: Absolutely the worst company I have dealt with in years. They will do anything they can to not refund your money. I strongly recommend ordering all gaming items online
Negative experience: I use to love this place as a kid. I loved how they had retro consoles. But I recently went back in with my wife and she purchased a video game with me. It was marked $20.99, and she was charged $34.99. When I went to return it almost only 2 minutes after she bought it, I was told the stores policy was they can only give us the difference in store credit, and that another employee besides the one I was talking to “must have price checked and labeled it wrong”. I am unsure as to why we have to suffer because an employee made a mistake. Now we have to go back to the store for an undeserved future sale to use the gift card.
Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous customer service. Dropped off a PS4 Pro for a simple power supply fix. I was told this would be completed in 2 weeks, during these 2 weeks I called 2 or 3 times to check on the status of the console only for these dweebs to tell me they can't update me because the consoles don't even get repaired at gamers. Exactly 2 weeks from the day I drop it off, I call and am told hopefully its done later today. I call back later in the day and get put on hold for 15 minutes. I call multiple times after that just for the phone system to tell me that the call cannot be answered. Obviously a lot of good reviews for this place when Max helps them, but unfortunately I have not gotten that service.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience at Gamers. Yesterday I went there to trade in some games and buy more and Max was really helpful and knowledgeable about the games and systems.
Positive experience: I personally love Gamers. The people there are great people, and are interested in your satisfaction as a customer. I would recommend going to Gamers, because they do pay better than GameStop. They also accept game guides, which GameStop does not do. Their prices are better, and, overall, it is a quality store.

Fantastic experience: So glad Gamers is back. The new management is doing a much better job keeping the store organized and keeping interesting stock on the shelves. The prices are fair and the staff is always helpful. I was helped by Max today and he was great. When he didn’t know the answer to one of my questions instead of shrugging or trying to guess, he made a call to someone else to figure it out. He was very patient with me as I picked through a bunch of obscure retro stuff and let me take as much time as I needed to check out the hardware I was considering buying. Overall very engaged and helpful.

Negative experience: I was required to put $25 dollars down for a repair and informed it would go towards the repair, upon picking it up I was charged an additional $75 dollars. I asked to receive a call or email of the total charges to ensure I want them performed, I never received a call until it was completed. The purpose was not to pay $100 dollars on a switch when they are $150 in store brand new during the holidays. The manager could care less and didn’t apologize once for not contacting me even when the repair order stated to contact the customer before repairs are performed. He refused to refund me the $25 dollars or discount the repair knowing they made a mistake. All he said was to contact corporate if you want to complain.
We apologize for the inconvenience Brian and I hope we can help you. All of our Switch repairs are $100 and its been that way for a while now. As for the cost of Nintendo Switch, they retail for $300 brand new and $260 used due to being in such a high demand. As for the $25 up front that we charge. That has been a fee we have been charging for the past 12 years on all of our repairs. So since you paid the $25 up front that would have made the remaining balance $75 left. Negative experience: First and probably last experience there. I called at 11:00 am to see if a game was in stock. They had several copies. By 4:00 when I arrived, they were sold out. I offered by phone to pay for a copy right then to pick up, and was told that they don't do phone sales or hold items. I purchased from a competitor who will do a phone sale instead.
Fantastic experience: Thank you to max for helping us pick out some great games for Christmas presents. He was very friendly and helpful. This is the only gamers we go to, not just because it's kinda close but every time he's there he's very helpful and kind.

Negative experience: Not what it used to be since new owners took over. Lots of games that had store printed artwork or non standard cases with the same price as the official ones. General prices for games vary greatly. Saw some PS4 games that were cheaper than the PS3 version and they weren't rare. Saw some PS3 online only games for sale that are unplayable due to the servers being permanently taken down. They had a couple racks of dvds and blu rays with no visible pricing. Definitely not the Gamers stores we all grew up with.

Negative experience: I'm not sure what's going on with this store, but in my honest opinion it is never a good sign for a gaming store to not have a single new or used current gen controller and instead only have one type of controller for a ps4 that is a WIRED 3rd party controller that is overpriced. And I wish my review could end there, but unfortunately even the employees left something to ask for. There were two employees. And this may be nitpicking, but we had two issues. 1. One employee was reclined back in her chair on her phone right behind the counter and never said a word to me. This is a bad look for customers, and shows a lack of care from employees. 2. The other employee is the one I spoke to and asked about whether they had a ps4 controller new or used. I minus well have been talking to a confused zombie because the best he did was give a big "uhh." While stepping aside to show me what was behind the counter. He made zero offers to check for other locations, instead went to go and check the back for a few mins.
