Positive experience: Its ok.....the staff are nice and the selection is great but thats where the positives end. everything is on shelves that are walled off from the customer and its far enough away where the spines and are difficult to read and usually when i go i have to use my phone camera zoomed in to read them (I have rather good vision). on top of that its difficult to tell the condition of the game until a staff member pulls it out. I bought a copy of mh4u and it was like a 50/50 shot if my console would recognize it im ok dealing with it but a warning would have been nice. Pricing is pretty 50/50 sometimes you get a deal sometimes you don't overall its a decent place to go especially if you want to buy for older consoles but be prepared to use your phone camera to read game spines and maybe ask to inspect lose games before you buy

Negative experience: Showed up at 11AM to get some games for the kid’s birthday. Doors were closed, waited 20 minutes, and no one opened it. Wouldn’t recommend traveling here to shop. Waist of my time, poor business ethics.

Negative experience: Selection wasn’t great and staff didn’t really seem aware of what was in stock. All they would talk about it how fast inventory moves and how much they can sell this stuff for. Absolutely zero passion for the hobby, just a pawn shop for used games.

Negative experience: Everything locked up, full price on beat up copies of games, if you want good condition for same price out of luck. Bad condition with perfect condition pricing.

Negative experience: They were nice but couldn't take the items due to Bing to old but I kind of thought they would be worth money because they were old.It was an old Zelda game and a couple of Sega games.Oh well though I still gave them them to fix them and hope we get them to work to live on

Negative experience: Been going here for years. Really disheartening to see this place turn into whatever it is now. People behind the counter today laughing about abusing children and openly making super misogynistic comments. Their receipts say "Make Gaming Great Again". Just buy your gaming stuff on eBay and avoid this trash.

Negative experience: Gosh, I guess this is my best option for 'filing a complaint'. I am fanatical about supporting small businesses and keeping the money in the community, so when I wanted a game over the weekend, instead of downloading it, I waited until Monday so I could try for a used copy at this place. I called twice during business hours, got no pickup, and had no option to leave a message, as they purportedly hadn't bothered to set up voicemail. Visited during stated business hours, and place was closed. This is not the way to do retail.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to start! I loved this place. They had a bunch of things I didn’t even know I wanted and the guy working was SUPER helpful and knowledgeable in his craft. I’ve been playing games for a long time and he was able to keep up!

Fantastic experience: It's a decent local spot worth checking out - we got tons of vintage games at a good price and the owner threw in a game for free because he wasn't sure of its quality so we appreciated him doing that. Fortunately the game worked but if it didn't we wouldn't be unhappy about it. We'll definitely be back again!

Negative experience: I would not recommend this store based on my experience. The store has a reputation for offering significantly lower money when purchasing consoles, often providing 20% (less than 1/3) or less of their market value. Despite advertising buy-back services through signs and on their website, it seems they are not interested in buying. Additionally, the store sells copies of games, often sourced from regions like Saudi Arabia and China. If you are looking for quality products and fair pricing, I suggest shopping elsewhere where you can expect genuine merchandise and reasonable deals.

Negative experience: Was turned away because I was bringing them used Wii console and equipment in a box! Old man behind the table said people "usually only bring it to them stacked and so clean, so I'm not trying to insult you but let me pick and choose between so item". I had everything wiped down (not perfectly stuff been sitting around for years now but all still works) and organized in a open box. I had manuals, I had the Wii fit board, I had Wii equipment like nerf baseball bats, golf clubs, and the tennis racket for Wii sports, and of course video games. So after he wanted to insult me as a person, I told him "stop looking, I'll bringing this somewhere else". He then proceeded to toss my games into the box and said "good idea". Never go to this store. I will be reaching out to higher management about customers services at this location.

Negative experience: recently purchased some retro gaming equipment from this company, expecting high-quality products for the price I paid. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. The equipment lasted only a month before breaking down. For something marketed as high-end and durable, I expected much better quality. When I reached out to customer service to address the issue, the experience was even worse. The staff were condescending and talked down to me, as if the problem was my fault. They clearly didn’t want to listen to what I had to say or offer any real help. It felt like they were more interested in dismissing my concerns than providing any kind of support.

Positive experience: Good variety, just hate the fact all the games are in the back and I’d feel bad if I called him over like 5 times to ask about prices on Wii games. The prices are okay but some things are way more expensive than they need to be.

Fantastic experience: Excellent selection of retro games and accessories. Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Bought a GameCube controller from them that was giving me issues and they swapped it out for a better one. These guys are awesome.

Fantastic experience: Such great service! We brought our little ones in looking for a new Mario game for the wii. While they didn’t have that, the man working there helped very much. He patiently answered all my questions and took the time to show us around. Eventually, he recommended a game for the switch that my kids had been eyeing. Although it was a little more than I’d planned to pay, I agreed to get it for them. As an added bonus, he knocked a little off the price, which I appreciated very much. That was nice, but I’m mostly recommending this place because of the worker himself. There’s nothing better than a knowledgeable and friendly person when you’re a little out of your element while shopping. I’d give more starts if I could!

Fantastic experience: A great place to travel back in time with the old memories by viewing and playing the games that you used to when you were younger (speaking for everyone). I had spent a good chunk of change here but it the end it was all worth it. I will deffinetly come back sometime!

Positive experience: The store is cool and it has great inventory the problem is the prices can be over market value at times and if you’re looking for a lot of more recent good stuff like Mario ,zelda or Kirby stuff on Wii or ds then this probably won’t be the place for you they don’t have much of that

Negative experience: Phone has never been answered throughout the past 6 or so years iv Been around, calling to check and see if they carry any of the things I was looking for. Never was answered, wasnt helpful, walked in a few times to find I wasted time coming in. Could have been avoided and kept a customer if they would just do their jobs and answer the phone for once. Lol Bummer, honestly surprised they stay in business.

Negative experience: The most unforgivable thing about this store is that the majority of the stock has faded artwork. A lot of it is minimal (like 10-20% fading) but anyone who collects would be able to spot it. I initially thought that someone had traded in a bunch of games that had been sitting in a window, but the more I walked around the store, the more I realized every section (pre PS4 and Xbox One) had the same problem. There’s very little sunlight coming in, so I believe the main culprit is overexposure to fluorescent lights. They have them all throughout the store, and I think even inside the glass cases (where the older games are). It was also an immediate red flag that their prices were too high, since it does take some time for fading to occur, meaning the games must not be selling. I was also disappointed that the vast majority of games were locked in glass cases, or out of reach behind the counters. I won’t complain too much about this though, since it’s possible the area is prone to a high amount of theft. Personally, I’m just way less likely to buy things if I have to ask an employee for help all the time, but others may not mind this. I will bump my score up to 2-stars out of fairness though. The store was quite large with a wide array of stock, and I also thought the employee was polite, competent, and helpful. Just don’t expect me to come back when I know negligence has ruined countless games.

Negative experience: 1 don't know how to answer the phone. 2. They need to have a website that's up-to-date on stuff. And 2 why is there only 1 person working there. 3. I called and when I told the game set I bought was not working was like well do this. When I said I wanted to talk to he real store manager it was like he was in shock

Fantastic experience: To Brett Patterson. Actually the person you were with and posting for. You entered the store at 4:43 to which I informed you I'm sorry but we start closing in 2 min. You said actually you close at 5 I responded yeah but we start closing at 4:45 and are out by 5 because we stop getting paid at 5, and you replied ok well we'll be out by 5. I thought that was rude so I kicked you out. I think most people wouldn't like hearing someone basically say I'm going to make you work 15 min for free if you don't like that take it up with your boss, and would feel offended. Most of the time when I tell people that information they respond in a ok I'll be quick and there is no problem. I think you need an additued check if I could rate you as a customer I'd give you 2 stars you even told me you used to work in Game Craze I have trouble believing someone who worked in retail would treat someone that way curious what you co-worker think of you now.

Negative experience: Super rude person behind the counter. The moment we walked into the store, the person behind the counter was discouraging us shopping there by saying they close in 2mins (it was 4:46pm)... They ended up kicking us out of the store because he wanted to leave at 5 despite the business hours saying they are open until 5pm. I would give 0 stars but I cannot.

Negative experience: Pretty overpriced and will basically scam you with trade ins. Brought in my PSone with the LCD screen attachment and was offered $20 for the console and was told they would "throw the screen out" because it has some dead pixels. Brought the same thing over to Gameplayers Brockport and was offered $50 for just the screen even with the dead pixels, not to mention that Gameplayers has much more reasonable prices and employees who are much more personable than the often times rude/ pretentious workers here. Honestly can't recommend.

Positive experience: Well they have a lot of games, prices were pretty much as expected not too high, the biggest draw back was that, you couldn't see the games that well. They are lined up on shelves on the wall, with very fewer in the glass cases. Good selection

Now I know today is a exception because the 4th was yesterday but this is a regular issue and they really don’t care if you been trying to call or not. Just do better honestly. Great selection of games though.
