Negative experience: Today and everyday, they close early due to staffing issues. Today they closed at 7:15. What a joke

Fantastic experience: Have a nice collection of sports cards and games. Just getting back into collecting sports cards.

Negative experience: They have been closing early at 5 every day for the past 3 but I call and nobody tells me that they are closing early.

Negative experience: Just bought a brand new ps5 pro 8/29 just after noon and when I get home I see it’s a completely refurbished/ used ps5 pro! The guy blatantly lied to me and charged me new pricing! Non standard cables! No new interior packaging! Is this a scam from the worker personally or is the whole GameStop company that shady?

Fantastic experience: Smooth no problems

Negative experience: Went there almost an hour before they closed, except the lights were on but the doors were locked and gated. I tried calling ahead multiple times, but the phone was apparently being ignored by the employee I saw inside, so I had to waste a trip to find this all of this out. Avoid this store/company.

Fantastic experience: We went in just to look and after Alisha explained the Pro program and it's benefits, as well as the dollar amount needed for a year trial, just looking turned into a very reasonably priced preowned nintendo switch and a protection plan! Absolutely stoked, great customer service as well.

Negative experience: Do not shop here. The manager lied about a headset being compatible with an Xbox, so my son sent $80 on that headset. When he got home and tried to set it up with his system it is NOT compatible at all. Now they won't make it right and return the headphones. When I tried to get a hold of the DM they can't give his info our or take my info to give them. I had to call the hotline to make a complaint. Just make sure what you are buying is for your system because you won't get any help at all.

Fantastic experience: I was attempting to trade in some systems at a local Gamecraze on East Ave and they told me to come back on a week day. It was Thursday. I called Dewey Ave Gamestop and Beth and Alisha were more than happy to help me. Now I have a PS5 and my wife is getting a controller of her own today! ONLY GAME STORE YOU NEED!

Fantastic experience: Say what you want about the state of GameStop as a whole, but this location is great. They’re the only one in my area with a retro section and since they started it, it’s been slowly but surely stocking up with some good stuff. Alisha, I’m not sure if she’s the store manager (if she’s not, she should be) is laid back, personable, super helpful and passionate about what she’s doing and the customers that come in. Only thing I’d say (and this is the same with almost every GameStop) is the atmosphere. I’d love to hear some video game music pumping and some more interactivity. I don’t mind the pop culture toys/collectibles as much as some people. Nothing wrong with some variety as long as it doesn’t overtake the games. I think they do a great job at the Dewey Northgate store and I suggest checking them out!

Negative experience: Tried calling multiple times only for them to hangup on me and even go as far to disconnect their phone.

Negative experience: Closed. Not open at 12. No lights on, no employees. Just go to walmart next door to buy your games.

Negative experience: Went in today at 6:40pm to trade in a console, came in and employee said "here for a trade in?" but when I got to the counter the empolyee sighed or exhaled as if it was a pain for about 30 seconds before I finally said "or not" smiling in belive he was maybe joking after a slow day, but he proceeded to tell me how it was store policy that they don't take trade ins an hour before close....well it was 20minutes before, but I didn't say that I kindly said I would come back, more than once I will add. He said don't worry Noone else is here, he stated to get through it, than it came up that they system needed an update, he said oh that takes about an hour so you'd have to come back tomorrow, as I was leaving he started to question me as to why I was trading it in and basically acting like I shouldn't be with remarks like "don't need a system for the friends and family when they come around". When I got home shortly after I plugged it back up and the update literally took 10 minutes OVER WIFI........SORRY NOT SORRY THIS GUY SHOULD BE FIRED FOR HIS RUDENESS AMD MANOR. GAMESTOP HAS ALWAYS SUCKED AND WILL ALWAYS SUCK.

Negative experience: Went to buy a game, didn't want to get their membership, was asked repeatedly if I was sure I didn't want the membership and then chastised after not getting it. This is why people stopped buying from Gamestop.

Negative experience: One of the worst gamestops I’ve ever been too. Staff are rude and make you feel like an inconvenience when you trade anything or ask questions. Don’t waste your time here.

Negative experience: As an avid gamer I usually really enjoy perusing games and collectable merch so Game Stop is one of my favorite stores. I've been to this location 3 times and have never been greeted or interacted with, even when the store is otherwise completely empty. I've worked retail and hate to leave a negative review but my experiences here have left a poor taste. I'll buy my games elsewhere.

Negative experience: Everytime I go into the store there is only one employee working and he's always on his phone recently 2 hours before closing at 7 o'clock there was a sign on the front door saying "be back at 8:30" which is 30 minutes before they close. Thats an hour and a half break

Negative experience: Went in to do a trade in & instantly got questioned by the manager who after drilled me with questions said that he couldn't help me because his registered was closed. After I waited in line to do my trade in with another employee (who was great!) he then opened his register to help other customers. Meanwhile my console is being tested for trade in the manager continues to press the other employee to make sure my console wasn't blacklisted. I felt targeted. Horrible customer service by the manager Brandon.

Negative experience: Saturday, May 13, 2023. Arrived at 7:50. Sign on door said on break be back at 8:00. Waited until 8:20 no one back from break. Waste of time. Saw 3-4 other customers leave. A few said they're going to Walmart to buy their game.

Fantastic experience: Is this the Dewey Ave Game Stops Reviews. I went in to scope the baby yoda (Grogu) merchandise. Bought a bunch of the minis to add to my collection. A girl was working at the time don't remember her name but she was very helpful and easy to talk to. She showed me around the small store showing me all the Grogu (Mandalorin) Stuff. Not often do you see another female at gane stop or into gaming one working the shift and knowing about everything I was asking her impressed the heck out of me. Us girls got to stick together. I need to stop back in and get the newest mini's that are out.

Negative experience: Sold me a fake switch console, joycons we're off in color and couldn't connect to the device, also couldn't charge and stay charged properly. No Nintendo logos anywhere on device or dock. The screen didn't turn on and audio was off in handheld mode and would only respond while connected to the TV but even then there was drift and would shut off after 5 minutes. This is all within day 1 of a new console. When I called they told me they could not refund or replace even with my 1 year warranty. Went to GameStop in gates and had a great experience.

Positive experience: Usually top notch people until today. Ripped of my wife over a dent in a box and acted like he was in government office. Went to another game stop and they fixed everything and said he shouldn't be on his high horse
