Fantastic experience: I came in this Gamestop Oneal location on 10-16-25 around noon to get a new game that came out the same day. I was treated real well. The 2 associates Brandon & Horizyn were real nice and blessed me with a poster. I unfortunately didnt get the rewards pro but will in the future when I buy more games often. I like coming to Gamestop to buy games and get exclusive items only available there. I dont like to order games and wait to get them sometimes. The great vibes from the associates and exclusive items are what keep me coming back when I need something game related. Thanks

Negative experience: Disrespectful staff member this recent visit. The other was helpful. I said 4 times I'm looking for age appropriate games for my nephew, since he's hooked on GTAV. She kept making sly comments and asking inappropriate questions "Why did you buy him that?" "Who gave it to him?" "Yeah he's already in too deep if he's watching gta on YouTube." Etc. It wasn't until my wife stated she doesn't want that rep's assistance were we left alone. The one who checked us out was nothing but respectful.

Positive experience: They give you more store credit than they do cash but I couldn't believe they don't take games over 4 years old and some of the games that we purchase less than a year ago they gave us let's just say the game was $69 new and they gave us$12 to 25 cents my other damn that friendly staff really helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Store Mgr Brandon went WAY above and beyond to help me resolve a technical issue with my pro membership that had lasted 4 months! 1 phone call and 15 minutes later it was completely resolved! EXCEPTIONAL customer service from Brandon!

Negative experience: I know this falls on deaf ears but these guys are selling all their pokemon product to single resellers. That's so scummy.

Negative experience: I bought a headset a couple of months back. They said I didn’t need a receipt because of the sticker they put for the warranty on the box. I was reluctant but didn’t want to seem like a hassle and just left. Well they are broken now due to an accident and I wanted to take them back because I purchased the warranty but the guy said he can’t read the sticker so he can’t replace them. I explained that is what they gave me and that it has been sitting at the top of my closet since I purchased it so there shouldn’t be any reason that it can’t be readable. He didn’t care and wouldn’t help me. I explained that I come here for the human interaction and he didn’t seem to care. I even said that I wouldn’t be coming back and would just buy online like every other person not stupid enough to drive all the way to this store. Again he didn’t care. Rip GameStop. At least for me.. I won’t ever be going back.

Fantastic experience: The Gamestop on O'Neal Lane has the best selection of merchandise out of all of the ones in Baton Rouge. The employees go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for. I definitely recommend going to this location.

Negative experience: Don't count on this place to give you accurate information even when it looks like they're "checking" their system. So. Had an associate who didn't even bother checking on the Witcher Wild Hunt 3 for PS5. He just said the game only came out as digital meaning there were no physical copies which was a lie considering I went to Mall of Louisiana GameStop and found a physical copy but HEY the game was only digital right?! Came here before this time looking for Fire Emblem Engage. Was told by another associate no GameStop within 50 miles had it after he "looked" on the system. Went to the Mall of Louisiana and what do I find? Fire Emblem Engage. But again, there was no copies in any GameStop around...................

Fantastic experience: Superior service, caring staff, and a great selection of merch for the anime/gamer/collector who is any age. Go here weekly with my kids and am never disappointed even if I don't buy anything. Update 9/6/2022 - They have tons of anime and cool collectibles along with an impressive stock of video games. You can even get D&D dice and merch! Nicest staff anywhere that take time to make sure your experience is awesome ! 10/9/2022 still a great time and fun! 12/11/2022 awesome!

Negative experience: I Preordered a game Madden 21 on July 31st the woman told me I was going to get th game on August 25th 3 days earlier because it’s a preorder so when the 25th gets here they tell me I still have to wait until the 28th when it come out to get that game because I didn’t have the Deluxe or MVP edition if that was the case why not tell me that when I preordered it I could have kept my money and brought it on the release date or paid for the Deluxe or MVP edition!!!

I almost gave my sister a empty game case for Christmas! So check your box always!!

Fantastic experience: After a little confusion of who is next in line, the gentleman behind the counter took his time to help me, even though they were busy. The phones are ringing and people were in and out and everything. I went in there for some headphones for my husband and I was treated just like everyone else would be. He got stuff from the back and off the top shelves that I couldn't reach, he explained prices to me, he also help me figure out which ones were going to be best for our needs. We discussed the ones that I used to have in the ones he used to have and we came to the conclusion that they both suck LOL oh, so we talked about the best option and I was able to walk out of there with a pair of headphones. I have been shopping for these headphones for 3 weeks now, and I finally made a purchase at this store. It's all about in how my interaction goes with a certain company if I'm going to be doing business or feel comfortable enough to do it. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I will definitely be going back to this GameStop. The other GameStop in Central was amazing also

Negative experience: Hours say open at 11 on sundays but door says 12. Wasted my time driving over here. Needs to be updated. If it says open till 9 on the door, then it should be open till 9. Takes 20 minutes to check out. Items marked clearance aren't. Avoid.

Nice selection, seems a bit larger than some of the other GameStops I've been to in Baton Rouge. Reasonable prices. Was able to get two highly popular Xbox One games for just $52 (1 new and 1 used)
