Fantastic experience: Great store! Always personable and willing to help.

Negative experience: I came in to buy a headset. I specifically saw that the price was $12. My wife who was standing next to me saw that the price was $12. I asked an associate to grab it for me at the top top shelf. They grabbed it for me I looked around the shop to continue shopping And when I came up to purchase the $12 headsets now magically the $12 price tag was missing and now there was a $20 price tag on there and the associate tried to act like she knew nothing about what was going on with her and the store manager clearly knew that they changed Now I have to get corporate involved

Negative experience: Bought a controller and accessories for the controller, then asked if they had any Pokemon boxes, employee laughed at me for asking a question. Hysterically laughed… Was very rude to my friend for not having a id. He was very loud and enthusiastic in a rude manner about how he needed a id. This was on August 24th 25

Positive experience: This is a pretty decent location for the most part. Not sure of the managers name but he's a pretty good guy and so is the one girl. The assistant manager I think he is, however is something else. He doesn't try to help you when you come in, instead he stares at his phone and acts like you're not even there. He is very unfriendly and doesn't smile at all. If you ask him a question, he just has this condescending attitude and look on his face, like leave me alone I don't wanna help nobody. Other than him, they're usually pretty good with having a variety of things and so on.

Negative experience: Went to buy some Xbox games and tried to strike a conversation with the guy working, it was just him and I in the store and he was very rude. I’ve been to this place once before and interacted with the same associate (Brian) and he was very rude to me then as well, I didn’t appreciate his snide remarks at all. He decided to ID for an M rated game (I’m 23 and rarely get ID’d for anything anymore) and had yet another snide remark when I asked him why he ID’d me. Someone should really give that guy a reality check, judging from some of the other reviews here people have had the same experience.

Fantastic experience: Took my 9 year old in there with day money. He has every game for ps5 alive I thought. The gurl walked him through and spent alot of time with him and found something he enjoys. Great counter people they are very helpful and aren't just trying to get u to over spend. Ty

Negative experience: As if trading in at GameStop isn't bad enough, they now put any cash trades on a debit card that has a bunch of fees. Done with this floundering company.

Fantastic experience: Incredible service at this location from Justin! This was the first time my son had ever been at a Game Stop and he was very welcoming, knowledgeable and polite. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for and even gave me good recommendations for some fun games to play on the Nintindo Switch with my family. They had a great selection as well as very low prices. I will always recommend this specific location for anyone in the Toledo, OH area.

Negative experience: Bought a 200 xbox that doesnt work properly and a bad controller where the headset jack doesnt work and can clearly hear somthing rattling inside it. They wont do anything about it.. so check ur merchandise before u leave this store

Negative experience: I didn't appreciate how the manager treated me while I was there. He was attempting to force me out the store. I was the ONLY person there. Wouldn't let me shop to see if they had any deals tried to control my time. I told him I'm shopping, I could tell he was agitated by my presence. However the associate working with him today was very sweet. This was my first trip here. I will not shop here again and I will contact corporate about this.

Negative experience: Bought an Xbox one X bundle and absolutely none of the codes were in the box. No game, no live code, no game pass code. I called the store he gave me Microsoft’s number. All that did was give me the runaround, couldn’t speak to anyone to recover the codes. Called the store back, he said there was nothing more he could do. I asked for a call back from a manager and was refused. I hope someone from GameStop sees this and cares enough to follow up.

Positive experience: I really dont feel that gamestop's a bad place but when you pay sixty dollars for a game and then take it back the next day and only get a fraction of that back it is just hard to say that it is a good experience. The service is generally pretty good and they are very nice and all, but the prices that they charge versus the return value is just beyond annoying.
