Negative experience: Was in the store earlier today and overheard this employee named Dan talking and laughing with another employee about how customers who called the store were 'losers' and should just buy digital. Even their own employees don't like or have any passion for the store they're working for.

Negative experience: Orderd a refurbished ps4 and they gave me a pre owned ps4. The price was the same, but the controller was different from what was posted. They also didn’t give me a PlayStation usb. I can’t connect the controller without the official PS usb, so before I can even see if the system/controller works I have to go out and buy one. ( I did look it up and tried resetting the controller and unplugging the PS4 all the way and it still didn’t work. Also made sure the controller was charged.) Either it’s the USB not being official or they sold me a broken controller. Upside they said I had 2 weeks to bring it back if something was wrong.

Negative experience: The worst place in history for any kind of respect for customers! This place needs to go out of business and these people should lose their jobs they don't deserve a job!

Negative experience: I was here for the midnight release for MW3 and couldn't receive my game because I didn't have a "line ticket" even though I had my receipt in hand. Didn't receive any notification or email or call about needing a line ticket not to mention I was just here the previous week shopping for my daughter's Christmas gifts. Think I'll shop elsewhere for my gaming needs

Positive experience: This place is okay if you're looking for electronics and have no where is to go although Best Buy,Walmart, Replay and Cashland sells most of the same things at lowered price (Replay and Cashland are cheapest but protection plans aren't as long as Walmart or Best Buy, but the game prices is obscene at GameStop. Most of the games you can buy at Replay for half their prices. Even then anyone with gaming console experience knows Sony and Microsoft sale their games online the cheapest. You'll see for example, The Division 2 for $60 but there will be a discount on your console or their website for $2 and if you get the gaming memberships for PlayStation or Xbox there is a good chance the game you bought might be put on their catalog for free(Game Pass loves doing this ) If you don't have any experience in electronics or gaming then GameStop is where you should go. The staff is friendly and have the experience to help anyone I have a membership here and never see a point in using it because even with the discount other places sell cheaper their monthly magazine on new games is cool though.

This shows itself in the way that they push their employees to almost annoyed customers with their attempts to force as much as they can down their throats. It's sad. The upper management district regional and above need to implement a new strategy in order to save this franchise, or I fear it will soon go the way of Circuit City, Borders, etc...

Fantastic experience: I work for a DODD facility and one of the individuals and I go to GameStop on a regular basis the staff is always great, but today the customer service rep Melissa went over and above to help him have a great experience and explained everything and made his day with her great customer service. It was a very pleasing experience!!!!

Negative experience: Went in to buy sniper elite 3 and the customer service was great selection was good, but thing is the employees were so focused on eachother and other aspects of their life they weren't paying much attention to what was going on, they seemed a little intoxicated and the one girl gave me sniper elite 2 the disc doesnt even say elite on it, says v2 so it takes a lot to misinterpret that. Says alot about about how Toledo runs their businesses. I was satisfied up until i drove the 20 miles home and realized it was the wrong disc. My advice put more effort into your work and pay attention to detail!

Negative experience: Employee lied about their being a 9 o'clock release for Fire Emblem: Three Houses just to increase the store's preorders. If you want a store that worries more about their business model and making money than they do about their customers then this is the spot for you. Otherwise there's a Walmart right next door and when you can say Walmart cares about their customers more, you know there's something wrong.

Negative experience: Worst customer service of all GameStop’s I bought headphones that cost me $80 And the guy recommended I got warranty because i told him i got a new puppy. After a few weeks my puppy chewed on them and when I went to take them back I was told that dog bites do not cover the warranty. Luckily I called the game stop on Holland Sylvania because they actually helped me get new ones

Negative experience: I used to love this store but the people they have staffed in it now are rude. Me and my boyfriend came into the store looking to browse through a couple of titles we were interested in and got attitude from the very first person we met after telling her that we werent looking for anything specific and were just browsing. The girl continued to be rude slamming games into place around us as we looked through different titles and then we recieved even more attitude from another girl working the register after we chose to buy a game but didnt get the 1$ protection. I'd suggest buying your games online or through the playstation store rather than having to deal with the new people they have currently staffed in the store. I've never once had a terrible experience at a gamestop but the people working at this store were committed to ensuring our experience was poor. I will never shop at this gamestop ever again, and i'd advise anyone else to also avoid this store if youre expecting to be treated like a valued customer rather than an unwanted hinderance.
