Negative experience: Went two times, the guy argued about case art when I asked about getting the official game case, a second visit the same guy was getting loud about being at the correct register he never directed towards in the first place, don't come here, just go to the other one
Negative experience: The manager is not kind and will not work with you. They refuse to work with people. While waiting on line the workers were speaking about inappropriate conversations for a place where kids like to buy games.
Negative experience: They suck! Company policy says corporate if u buy a new controller and return it , you only get a used refurbished controller with a warranty even if you bought a new controller in the first place. No wonder they closing so much locations! Get your gaming needs somewhere else. I pay for a 100$ controller with a warranty and when return it they gave me a used controller that had stick drift. GAMESTOP SUCKS!

Positive experience: I am giving this store 3 stars because they had what we came in for. Everything else about our experience there was less than pleasant. Clerk kept us waiting while he talked with a friend or something who was not making a purchase. We wanted to purchase a $200 game controller he had behind the counter. Finally he acknowledged us and got the controller but when he couldn't find my account with them, instead of helping us so we could add to our points for purchasing this item, he became impatient and just rang it up and then turned back to the guy he was talking with and ignored us again until we paid for the item and that was it. We weren't just planning on buying the controller but he never even gave us a chance to ask him nor did he bother to ask us if we needed anything else. It was obvious by our treatment that we were a bother to him so we left with only part of what we had come in for. If we didn't need the controller for a gift we would have just walked out. We paid more for the controller there because Sam's Club were out of stock. Their prices are high at this store, the store is small, and their customer service is terrible. I work hard for my money so paying $200 for anything is a pretty big deal. When a business treats their customers like we were treated then I will spend my money elsewhere where they treat their customers better.
Negative experience: Awful customer service and learn to put things the way we had them so when we come home and looking we don’t discover in an odd place cause you didn’t tell us. Pretty sad you treated us Adam with disrespect and we have an autistic son who depends on this for therapy. Very sad and next time put the equipment in a place and respectfully tell us where to look so you don’t have to call a co worker who just left you said because you don’t know where she would’ve put it. Why wouldn’t you know where you your team put things in your own box We all make mistakes but dude work on your customer service skills or don’t deal with the public!

Negative experience: We drove literally 2 hours and 35 minutes. We spoke to these people over the time frame coming to pick up the PlayStation portal. Our first phone call we were told they had 10 in stock and if we could get it purchased for pick up it would be ours. I purchased it and received the email it was ready for pickup. We drove this far for it to not be here! Cooper was very unprofessional. He flexed on camera and threw his shirt down and smiled big like it was a big joke. We have it all on camera. We feel as if the employees bought it and they are selling it for more. That should be against the law if so. We were refused the right to speak to a manager. Also, in order to purchase the PlayStation portal we had to purchase the pro membership and we done so and didn’t even want to but did it for the portal. Almost 3 hours of our time, gas, and money wasted. Also, when I called to let them know we were 5 mins away because we were crunching time for them to close the man said oh I thought you bought a PlayStation 5. SMH, a ps5 for 249.00… I would love to have one at that price! The man was very unprofessional and rude to us. We have a child that’s going to be upset on Christmas thanks to GameStop!

Negative experience: Id give this game stop a negative star if I could. My husband went into here to buy Midnight Sun. The guy who helped him (he wasn't wearing a name tag), fingered through all of the games with cellophane on it and found a previously opened box. When my husband confronting him about it he claimed it was a not played game but tried to sell it to him for a brand new game price rather than a used game price. After further questioning him, the employee claim that he was doing what his boss wants him to do. He never offered my husband a brand new game with cellophane on it he was just trying to sell him a used game at new prices.
Positive experience: Typical gamestop. Woman on shift was very helpful, but very overwhelmed with the amount of customers in the store and phone calls and seemingly being the only one there. Will never understand why Gamestop is so cheap and won't put two people working, even for safety concerns.
Negative experience: I just left this location very disappointed. My son pointed out that they had a BOGO sale, so my wife and I let him look around. I asked Solomon, the store associate, what games applied to the BOGO sale. His response was everything to the right of the sign...My son picked out Mario Bros Deluxe & Yoshi's Crafted World...they were to the right of the sign. When going to the register to check out another associate explains that none of these games are not part of the BOGO. The fine print on the sale sign informed them that the sale expired on 6/17! Why wasn't this sign replaced?! Why wasn't the list of games posted next to the sign for customers to see?! When expressing my disappointment to Solomon and his associate, they both began explaining how the games are cataloged in the store. I have a problem with this because this could have been avoided if Solomon had come over to us and verified that the games on the shelf to the right of the sign were part of the BOGO. Furthermore, they should have honored the BOGO at the register. They simply apologized about the signage and attempted to educate me again about how the games are placed on the shelf by staff. They also explained that the price of the games should have suggested that they were not on sale. I have stopped shopping at GameStop for many years...it seems that I came back too soon. The sale sign was removed before I had a chance to take a picture.
Fantastic experience: The people who work here are always really helpful (Though that might just be a thing with Tennessee), the only thing I dislike about GameStop is that they have bad policies.

Negative experience: Nice store, but I took in two boxes of old game cube games, Playstation, PSP, AND Gameboy games with their consoles. I was refused and told they don't take old games. Looks like I'll just be forced to sell it on ebay for higher.

They did not have any in stock, no shocker there.... So we will try again at a later date. Sales associate was very helpful and knowledgeable about the merchandise.

The clerk said he couldn't take it because it was probably stolen. AFTER explaining that we have the record of purchase from Amazon he said oh well most people try to trade stuff that's stolen so we can't take unopened games...anyways no more gamestop for us...

Negative experience: Will not be returning to this gamestop. I went to trade in a brand new copy of the new COD Modern Warfare that came with a new ps4 I bought. They refused to take it because it was sealed which I didn't quite understand but if that's their policy then ok, I'll take it elsewhere. What did bother me is how rude the guy was. He told me I could take it somewhere else and try with an attitude all while sitting on top of the counter with his mouth full of cinnabon. Very unprofessional even for a place that specializes in video games.
Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. The problem is the monopolization this store holds on the “pre order” realm of video games. I was told there would be a midnight release for the newest COD and ended up waiting in a parking lot for an hour just to find out it isn’t happening. Poor customer service upon entering the store, no one even at the front register to field questions or assist me with the pre order itself. This may have seriously ruined GameStop for me. I will most likely just do things the lazy way and pre order on amazon or online in some sense.
