Negative experience: Nice enough people but I waited for 20 minutes for service while one guy dealt with a crap ton of trade ins and the other guy ignored us. Was going to buy 2 ps5 remotes and new Pokémon game but now going to the other GameStop. Just walked out

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at GameStop thanks to Omar! He was super helpful and friendly from start to finish. He helped me pick out the perfect console and explained all the details clearly. I also ended up getting the Pro Membership, which he recommended and it’s definitely worth it — great perks and savings. Excellent customer service and a smooth buying experience. Highly recommend asking for Omar if you visit this store!

Negative experience: So I pre-ordered a game that came out today on September 30th and when I got there the lady said "that the back area had been so full of boxes that they haven't had time to take them out and it would take her a few days for her to find my game possibly and give me a call" That's not how that should work when a game releases you should have it out and ready for people to buy. Now I see why people tell me not to pre-order

Negative experience: Hey gamers, I would NOT recommend this GameStop facility, I had a particularly troubling experience. The employee I spoke to was extremely apathetic towards my gamer needs. I asked POLITELY if they had the hit upcoming game "Cape Cod Fishing Adventure" and when expressing my disappointment when AMANDA told me she did not have it. I was rudely hung up on, and I can't help but feel like she was making fun of my lisp. MY LISP IS NOT COMICAL IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. MY BRACES MAKE IT TO WHERE I FEEL LIKE MY TEETH ARE TOO BIG FOR MY MOUTH, WHICH CAUSES MY SEVERE MISPRONUNCIATION OF WORDS. I am not satisfied with my experience today, do not go here if you are serious about your gaming AND OR if you have a speech impediment. OtakuGamer (on steam) out.

Positive experience: I went in looking for Yugioh cards and card sleeve protectors as well as whatever prop or replica they had like statues or helmets. The pregnant girl who worked the front desk was very rude.

Negative experience: Came in looking at Xbox 360 games because why not, and the lady at the counter made me show ID because it was Rated M. I have never been IDed at a GameStop before not to mention I have a beard and buying games that are almost 20 years old. It should be common sense at a point

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. The girl working couldn't answer any questions and sold me a headset for a ps5 when she was told multiple times it was for an xbox x . There's Alot of people with gaming knowledge, yall could've hired.But instead, you'll hire somebody that knows nothing about video games. Worst gamestop ever.

Negative experience: Initially, grading with gamestop seems great. But this specific gamestop doesn't allow non mangers to release PSA graded cards to the customers. I've paid in full up front, and am being told to come back in nearly 2 weeks when the manager is there... I've already waited over 50 days to get them graded..

Negative experience: The online says the store opens at 10am. It's still not open and it's well after 10. The hours on the door say 10am as well. Yesterday I came to the store and waited patiently for assistance and no one was in the store, as they were outside chatting. So unprofessional.

Positive experience: Over all no deals ,ya they will buy ur used items but they will rob u of the price meaning u buy a new game return it in 7 day not knowing how easy it was you payed64.99you cash it in they may give u 24.99 and u had to have the box and all paperwork with it then slap a sticker on it use game for 49.99and pocket the 25 dollar dif

Fantastic experience: Generally a quick, clean and quiet place to shop. Employees are always pleasant and helpful. Almost always have what you want in stock. If not, they can get it in in a few days. I enjoy shopping here. Quick in store replacement of a factory faulty device- they even transferred over my son's data so he didn't lose progress on his game!

Negative experience: Purchased a used game, the box was in horrible condition, I had a bad feeling that the game wouldn’t work(it had something gross on the disc as well) but never the less purchased it anyways because “it was the only one” that they had, or so Adam said.. I go back to return the game and the same Adam guy then goes straight to the computer and says they have another copy, after just telling me they didn’t have any other copies. Will not be returning to purchase a used game. Will take my service elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Honestly every time I walk in any GameStop I feel like I am at home and my true calling of peace, along with the staff that are very nice and sometimes crack a little jokes to each other and me and it makes me always feel welcomed, I’m happy to be in the gaming community.

Negative experience: Been here twice now and both times felt with the manager I believe his name is Derrick.... the first time I was shopping for a new switch game and I had said that I didn’t like the switch and he aggressively told me how wrong I was and how good the switch is etc etc and it was just kind of rude even my friend that was with me asked me what his problem was... the 2nd time I decided to trade in my switch and he didn’t say a word to me other then what was needed to cash me out or even look at me.... finally when he paid me he just shoved the money in my face.... but tbh he had no problem talking to two other customers... I even tried being friendly to him but he just could careless... thought it was a little interesting that the customers he did talk to were black and I’m white....

Fantastic experience: Beyond amazing staff! We always shop with GameStop! But the GameStop’s out here are so amazing! We went in the other day for the Pokémon Detective Pikachu promo. Negative experience: Ps4 controllers are 65 dollars compared to 45 anywhere else. They want 45 dollars for a used controller. When I pointed this out, the employee stated " you can take your money to another store, you dont have to buy it from here, I dont get paid on commission". I def wont be back to this store again, not only is everything over priced but the the employee that helped had zero customer service skills.

Negative experience: I will never buy a warranty or go to this place again. I bought a $50 xbox controller less than 2 months ago. The first day we had it, it wouldn't connect to the xbox so we took that one to be replaced. Now, they won't replace the 2nd controller since I can't find the itty bitty warranty slip. I had the original packaging, but my name is conveniently not in the system. The employees are incompetent. I would rather give my money to Walmart.

Fantastic experience: Best game stop I've ever been to. Staff is awsome and the manager Jeremy is one of the best people I know they will go out of their way for anything you,need and love letting my 3 yr old run around playing with everything while I shop. I haven't been to the Madison st store lately but they just got a new manager deke from this store so I'm sure they will be just as awsome as well
