Experiencia negativa: Went in to trade some games in for donkey kong bananza and the employee was plain rude. He said he had nothing to sell me. I explained I'll take digital then. He laughed and said I'd get less in credit. Then after all that he only scanned 2 of my games. Im glad I paid attention or I would've gotten cheated even more. Be better gamestop.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely horrible price tag said one thing then when it rang up it was over 20 dollars more and when told about it they stated there was nothing they could do and that won't honor the price on the product. I've never been told they wouldn't honor a price and it wasn't labeled at the more expensive price

Experiencia negativa: I moved into the zone of this GS, the employees here are not very customer service oriented. I feel like I'm just bugging them. Also, their policy on how the switch 2 additional stock differs from the corporate release from GS. Who knows why. But yeah, I'll go elsewhere from my interactions just remotely and once in store. Don't worry, I won't bug you guys any more.

Experiencia negativa: Feb 4th i did a online order in store! i was promised delivery in 4days for my sons birthday it didn't arrive so I picked 2 up somewhere else so he got it for his birthday. I have now spent the last month trying to get the product or my refund! Every few days is a email telling me my orders cancelled I'm getting a refund for it to say 2 days later it out for delivery this has happened 4 times now. This is not cool! You have taken $120 from my child's mouth for a month now. I go on last week and was told they would be here Monday I just recieved a email that says march 1st. Would you be happy if this happened to you? Gamestop I want my money back!

We chatted about his Pokémon collection, but he also made sure to tell me about preordering a PS5 game we were interested in. Experiencia negativa: Today I tried to trade in two Nintendo systems. First older lady working said she couldn’t take one without the original charger then said she wasn’t sure about it. I told her the other GameStop told me you just needed a charger for a console, as I’ve traded other systems no problem. Then she is like “well we got some new people working, so” which I guess she is new too since she wasn’t sure of herself. Then my second system, which I’m just getting rid off since I never play it and the trade is reasonable on the GameStop site. The guy “tried” connecting to the internet… then claimed it wasn’t connecting and the lady is quick to say mark it as refurbished and I told her no I’m taking my system back. It’s an older system, but it’s damn near mint condition and was hardly played. I brought it home and it connected to my internet just fine. Make sure you know your store wifi password before you say something doesn’t work. Based on the reviews I am glad I kept the systems and I’ll go to another GameStop with my trades.

Experiencia negativa: Went in 16 days ago bought a controller. I questioned the clerk Sheila if the controller worked for Xbox. To which she replied emphatically that it did, reassuring my purchase. I spent 3 days reading the Internet forums to find that it absolutely does not work for Xbox. After explaining to the two employees the situation they checked the ticket to confirm it was a certain employee and acted as if it was common place and they were not surprised- when asked about this later, both employees bald faced lied about what they had literally stated 4 minutes ago. I am 1 day outside of my return timeline of 15 days, as I work full time and didn’t have it high on my todo list. GameStop is unwilling to return a controller their employee falsely represented as working for my system. Told me to call corporate as managers don’t have ability to make any exceptions. They gave me a corporate number to call. This review will disappear when the issue resolved. If you still see this review, they still owe me $50. Save your time. Shop online. Even Amazon has a better return policy. Lesson learned.

Experiencia negativa: The workers are some interesting people. The training is lacking and it shows. ONE employee treats it like her home. Comes and goes as she wants just hops on a register whenever. Don't buy gift cards from them. Half of them have been read, so when you activate them, someone spends the money immediately. Then, if they sell they allowance on certain gift cards, it will not load the card but will still charge the account. And their customer service is just as bad.

Experiencia negativa: Something sketchy happening here. Just went to sell 3 games for cash and she says she "can offer $43.41 in cash"which I agree to. She says IMMEDIATELY "you're cool with a MasterCard gift card you can redeem like anywhere even a gas station? My drawer is short because of folks stealing and I don't want to take more cash out and have it look worse." I said no, I'll take my games elsewhere - she panicked and said she already rang it up then couldn't figure out how to give me my games back and ended up giving me the cash originally offered. Never had a problem here before but this was WAY off. Plenty of other GameStop locations.

Experiencia negativa: Worst GameStop I have ever been to and that says a lot. I placed an online order, was charged and then when I went to pick up they cancelled the order because it wasn’t ready. Money still not in my account, not to mention as I walked in someone had just stole from the store and the employee at the desk said that wasn’t her problem. Never shopping at GameStop again, should have known better!

Experiencia fantástica: Yo, I was in what felt like a world ending situation as a gamer. I had just beat the first part of Dark Souls 3. And was happily ready to attempt the DLC content. This is when I found out, I didnt get the right copy of the game, I purchased from another gamestop location! Sadness. And on top of it I was outside of the return time, even more sadness. After calling customer service, and pleading for assistance, for " no" to be my answer it felt all hope was lost. But then intuition kicked in, and the idea to go to my home store (here) and ask for some help in the matter. Or atleast trade this copy back and repurchase the right one. So I called the store and got a gentleman by the name of C.J who told me he could help me out. Went in, and after 5 mins of small talk C.J had fixed my problems, sending me home with a great smile! Real O.G that man C.J! Talk to him if you need quilty service! Come to this gamestop first! Thanks Gamestop! Thanks C.J!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been here a few times in the past few weeks and in all honesty the people working here really work hard. There is a guy in particular that I've had ring me out more than once and I've seen him in the store alone managing more than one customer at a time while being awesome at giving each customer their due attention. He gave me a pretty dope recommendation on a handheld grip and a matching case for the nintendo switch that wasn't even in store, but he took the time to set up the order while dealing with other customers. I ended up getting a game in store along the way to use my monthly $5 coupon and without missing a beat he had the entire order ready to go in one purchase.

Experiencia positiva: Just came in today to trade in consoles, I’ve been wanting a Nintendo Switch. Last night my husband was on a mission to get one, he spoke to a gentleman named Nate (I think) and he was unbelievably kind and nice, he went above and beyond for my husband in store. Today, we went in to trade the rest of the consoles (PS4, 2 Xbox ones, Xbox x) (note: if your consoles are not updated before taking them in the store please make sure you do that because they cannot do that in the store, also make sure if you’re trading in your Xbox that you turn off “my home Xbox” for each account same goes with PS4) these are for safety issues with transactions & cards etc, it will make it a smoother transaction for you. We came back to the store today with the same consoles we had from last night and the woman had said that she couldn’t take our ps4 because it had a screw missing and out of line which to us is bologna, my husband got a second opinion from another gentlemen that happened to be the manager, he okayed it, turns out was just a sticky piece on the console, thank you so much to him! We have two of the same consoles to trade in (two Xbox ones) you unfortunately cannot trade both in at the same store unless you come back the next day or go to another store, that’s the policy, I’m okay with that. Overall 4 stars for this location, would have been 5 if the woman working showed a little more empathy on the ps4 we brought in. This store is packed with goodies, has everything that a gamer could want and need, the men working there we appreciate your hard work! Heading over to another store to trade in my final console and I’ll have my Nintendo switch! :)

Experiencia positiva: Good visit with great service. The girl that helped me was awesome! Would hire her in a heartbeat. However, I do wish GameStop would get their prices in line a bit. Purchasing MarioKart 8 for the Switch used should not cost me more then it does brand new next door at Walmart. The associate convinced me to buy it anyway with a buy one get one deal. Great work!
