Experiencia negativa: The people skip the line and attendants don’t do a thing for it, the guy said that is struggling with my accent which is rare because I’ve living here for lot time and I communicate in English at my work (I thing is a discriminative environment) plus they don’t have neither of the games I was looking for, the attendant just keep sending me to another gamestops to get them. THANK GOOD AMAZON EXISTS
Experiencia negativa: I really like this store is not their fault they have no power on their return policy and i understand they won’t warn their customers since is print in the bottom of their recipes but if you buy something and you open the box you can’t get no refund on it it doesn’t matter if you didn’t use the product or if you spent over 80 dollars Something I do see other companies do warn even if is on the bottom of the receipt that makes them a good customer service, but in this case Is not for this location they won’t go beyond and probably don’t get pay enough to do beyond ,now I have something I can’t use or unable to return but if it helps them with sales since there is a rumor game stuff is struggling I am actually happy I am helping a company in need enjoy I do have to give one star that is even for me you get my money y just give you one star review not a big deal it won’t make you go out of business thanks
Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service. There was a line waiting to check out with only one person at the register while three staff members were just walking around the store. No one greeted us. This store has really gone downhill.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a PlayStation at this store... when I paid with my card, the salesperson added a GameStop Pro subscription without asking me... I've been paying for something I've never used for three years... now I go to the store to cancel the subscription and they tell me they can't do it... that I have to call a phone number... I've called several times and no one answers... this is clearly a scam.
Experiencia negativa: I bought a GameStop branded 512 GB MicroSD Express card with my Switch 2 back in June. I tried playing yesterday for the first time in about 2 months and the games wouldn't load. I did an update and rebooted and when it came back up I got an error related to the SD card. I ejected it and reseated but no luck. I took it back up to the store to get a replacement only to find out that their $100 SD card has a 14 day warranty. Sandisk and AData both have lifetime warranties for the same price. I was starting to think maybe GameStop didn't deserve the horrible reputation they had, but they do. I guess Ryan Cohen's idea of frugality is swindling people out of money on new products sold effectively as-is. I'll never give this company another cent, no way am I going to renew my "pro" membership.
Experiencia negativa: This location does not honor Military Veterans, they denied me the military discount because I’m not an active service member. They were rude about it as well. Felt disrespected, the customer service was inept.

Experiencia negativa: The last 2 Gba games I got here were reproductions sold at full price. I had to have them opened at home and bring em back. They will not open the carts saying "you got 7 days you can bring it back or bring your ds"even though he was a manager who was here during a return and remembered opening it and seeing it was bad.
Experiencia negativa: Stopped by with my girlfriend and asked if they had any pokemon card stock. I got a very snappy retort "Do you have 500 dollars? I thought so. So no." I get that he may have had a bad day but I did not ask in a rude way. In no way will I be returning or getting a gamestop membership now .

Experiencia negativa: 12/16/24 Placed a pickup order online and it got cancelled because it “wasn’t available.” I still went in person anyways and found two of the Funko pops I wanted on the shelf and asked if he had another one that I was wanting (which online said it had two available) and the gentleman working the register said “we probably do have the Funko pop you want but I’m not gonna get it in the back. Too much boxes and I’m not gonna go through them to find the one you want.” “What’s on the shelf is what’s available for today. You can check another day when I put more on the shelf.” What’s the point of an online pickup and stock on the website if your employees can cancel your online order because they don’t wanna find it.

Experiencia fantástica: If you want a steam deck, I highly recommend getting it here, this is one of the only spots to get them in the DFW area and the prices are the same as the website. Great deal, but once you buy there are no returns.
Experiencia negativa: How they stay in business is way beyond my comprehension. It's fine if you want to pay high prices for some used games if you're looking for older games / systems better off looking somewhere else.
Experiencia negativa: My adult son has additional needs and carries an Ipad with him everywhere. The manager advised he was not allowed to take pictures or take videos while we were in there as it was against store policy. She actually got quite agitated about it. The only place I could find where it states this is in a Game Stop Twitter post from 2022. No where else including Game Stops website does it state this. We spent money there but it could have been a better experience. The next time my son asks to go to this location I will steer him elsewhere.

Also they said they would call me and yet I have received no call by them and the item I pre-ordered is in stock. Luckily I only put 5 dollars in for the Pre-ordered so they can keep it.

I look inside and none of this stuff looks original that came with it. Hopefully I didn’t waste my time and money. You’re Manager also told me everything negative about it and not 1 thing positive.

Experiencia fantástica: Selection and prices are great for a GameStop (check out the clearance section--it's legit), but the staff are amazing! After checking out, my little boy's balloon came off its strong and floated to the ceiling. Unprompted, the team jumped out, grabbed a ladder, retrieved the balloon, and retied it. Very nice people!

Experiencia positiva: Seems like your standard GameStop. They had the exact Bluetooth Gaming headset and Nintendo Switch I was looking for! I had a laugh about the blursed Appa/Momo ATLA Backpack they had and I appreciated the bin of Minecraft themed plushies. I like to just come in and browse mostly. It seemed clean and the employees were nice enough.

So we went up to the counter. She never mumbled a word to us or said hello, nothing. I'm CERTAIN IT WAS OUR SKIN COLOR THAT WAS BOTHERING HER. She wouldn't even respond to me, not really only making the condescending facial expressions. I asked her for her name and she told me I don't have to give that to you. All three workers were wearing badges. She covered hers. I've been coming to GameStop since my boys who are now 15 and 12 were old enough to ask for video games? This young lady was so rude. I hadn't even gotten out of the store and she was talking about me to another employee, so I came back and asked for the corporate number from Ryan and another worker. Ryan was the worker who actually answered the phone call before we went up to the store. This young lady though she was unnecessarily rude and nasty to us, white female, slender, sorry curly reddish back hair. She shouldn't be working in customer service at all. She called the police on me as well, without cause. THAT WAS NOTHING SHORT THAN EXPECTED ♀️ AMERICA NEEDS TO DO BETTER. I DIDN'T GET OUT OF CHARACTER WITH HER AT ALL, I DID ASK HER IF I NEEDED TO GO LIVE ON TIKTOK BECAUSE OF THE WAY SHE WAS TREATING US. YOU ALL MIGHT WANT TO DRUG TEST YOUR EMPLOYEES? ♀️ THAT MIGHT HAVE ALOT TO DO WITH IT? RUN THE CAMERAS BACK AND LOOK AT THE FOOTAGE. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR MY FAMILY OR MYSELF TO BE TREATED THAT WAY. 7 police officers for one black female? The madness.
Experiencia negativa: Guy with long black hair and piercings was rude; I was in line asking him about a GameStop membership to buy a Pz5 which first of all is stupid to need a membership to buy a PZ5; but anyways back to what I was saying I asked him about the membership and as I was speaking to him he cut me off from speaking and bluntly said out loud”next in line” he just ignored me and was pretty much his way of saying shut up and go away.

Experiencia fantástica: They were out of Nintendo Switch game cards and the cashier informed my son he could still purchase one and he'd print the code on the receipt. It was nice to have someone go tht extra mile when everyone is still overrun by the Christmas crowd.
Experiencia negativa: So I think I might be done with Gamestop. I've visited them many times and usually with great reviews, however the staff have been less and less helpful with game knowledge. This last visit we saw the sign of but two get one free on all pre-ownedgames. We picked out 6 games took them to the register and was told that they ONLY had 1 of the 6 in stock and it was new. And to top it off they couldn't find any store that had all 6, we would have to pay full price and travel to 6 different store to get the 6 games. So much for that sale.

Experiencia fantástica: I don't regularly visit the Mall, much attraction and many people regularly moving, I enjoy this store maintained, organized, hospitality is acceptable, accurate information there could be some improvements in appearance sometimes just walking into a store and being able to enjoy my leisure time is good for everyone. Hopefully All Gamestop stores can revamp their displays and create a new/easier system. Change a few things around.... It hasn't changed in several years, hope this could be of help to corporate coordinate a different interior appearance.
