Experiencia negativa: My husband, my daughter, and myself were in this store and planning on buying some things, but changed our minds when a girl with green and black hair was loudly reprimanding the other employee about the store being left a mess from the day before. Both my husband and I have worked in retail and in supervisor positions and we both wanted to say something about how rude and tacky it was. So we put down our items and left. It was by far the most rude thing both of us has ever witnessed. Wait until your store is empty and talk quietly. The whole mall doesn't need to hear it.

I walked into the store to browse (nothing specific) when the manager walked out from the back room and yelled “Hello what are we all looking for today?” There were about five customers in the store including myself and no one was sure who she was speaking to. Another customer politely asked “I’m sorry were you talking to me?” To which the manager replied, “you’re all in my store right? So I’m talking to anyone in here. Anyone in here right now obviously came in for something so what can I help you with?” I didn’t find this very professional so I decided to leave and so did the customer who had just been yelled at. I didn’t catch the employee’s name but she has green and black hair and has a real attitude. GameStop used to be such a friendly place, what happened?
Experiencia negativa: I don’t leave negative reviews and stopping by this GameStop wasn’t my idea today but Jami gave us the most memorable experience in the worst way. My boyfriend tried to purchase an item and was told by Jami to “not take anything off her wall” due to an event….we were the only people in the store. When we questioned why, we were completely denied service….coincidentally, I went back an hour later by myself for the same product and she sold it to me just fine, but limited the quantity on the item that is NOT a new release and refused to explain why even though her own companies policies mention nothing regarding quantity of the item in question…for context, I wanted 3 surging sparks packs for a loved one who enjoys opening card packs…she raised her voice and said “you get 2” before I even finished telling her what I was looking for…I’ve contacted GameStop corporate, westroads retail management and actually spoke to an employee at a neighboring location who kindly verified my understanding of policy and mentioned “that sounds like Jami”. I’m sure management at an already dying mall isn’t going to appreciate hearing a retailer denying service to a paying customer.
Experiencia negativa: I hate giving negative reviews. I use to really like this location. I do not like going in to this location anymore for various reasons. It really feels like they have started to kick out their male counterparts. It is practically a clam fest in there. Not to mention one female talks about her period and other issues frequently. I cannot bring anyone in their under the age because I worry she is going to say something inappropriate. The "Manager" has a very rude complex and rushes people through their purchases. Does not interact with others. She is always huffing and puffing too... Even made a friend sign up for a membership because she could not remember the correct number to her current one. I miss when Chris and his team worked there. I have started to just order online at this point. Going here is NOT worth it.

I called both the location to cancel my pre-orders because I am not willing to drive 2 hours just to pick up preorders corporate came up with a solution but both Travis and his manager refused to help. They only want me to come in the store to cancel the pre-orders. His managers name is Jess who also refused to do anything to help
Experiencia negativa: i really didn’t want to be this person making a bad review online, however, i was very much scammed at this location. i got three video games as a christmas gift that were purchased 11.30.24. one of them didn’t work and i didn’t want the other two so i stopped in on monday and i told them that in hoping to exchange the two games i didn’t want. the manager told me it was over 30 days since they were bought and i couldn’t return or exchange them. i tried to tell him the original receipt said games bought 11.15.24-12.24.24 were eligible for return by 1.18.24. i didn’t get to tell him that because he cut me off. i was then told that i could do a trade in and get significantly less money for them. thinking i was the one who was in the wrong, i did the trade in and got almost 5 dollars back. i really wish i just took all 3 games and went to a different location because maybe then i would’ve had the chance to get different games instead because i would’ve been listened to.
Experiencia negativa: I came in just browsing for games like usual and decided I'll get another game system and my experience was horrible. I met a lady named Jami who game me attitude the whole time and was pretty much trying to force me to buy stuff I didn't want. I would ask about something and she just made me feel like I didn't belong and that she didn't even care. And when I simply asked why she had alot of attitude, she said I can leave whenever. So I did. And I will not be coming back. I dont want that kind of customer service, nor do I want any friends or family to have that kind of customer service
Experiencia negativa: Idk what’s up with the girl at the front but her attitude is not it. My husband came in to trade his PS5 and this girl told him to mind his business when she couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t charge the controller. She also was not aware of a PS5 bundle going on in her own store, he had to pull it up and show him for her to believe it after he said another store just told him they had one. Overall she was rude for no reason and didn’t know how to do her job and work with the customer.
Experiencia negativa: On 12/26 at 5:20 PM, I visited this location to trade in my Xbox One S. When I explained that I wanted trade-in credit for the system, I was immediately told that, in its current condition, I would essentially have to pay them to take it. The customer service was shockingly unprofessional. Instead of explaining what was wrong upfront, I had to press them for an explanation. Only then did they inform me that I needed the HDMI cable and controller to complete the trade-in—something I had not been aware of. Rather than simply communicating this policy, the cashier treated me as though I was foolish for not already knowing it. Before I could even respond, the cashier launched into a condescending analogy, saying, “If you were giving this to your neighbor, would they be able to play it?” I understand how a system works, and I am not a moron. I simply didn’t know those items were required for the trade-in. Instead of helping a customer who was clearly willing to go home and retrieve the missing pieces, the staff chose to belittle me with unnecessary commentary. Their dismissive and condescending attitude is unacceptable. I will not return to this location and would strongly advise others to avoid it. If I’m missing an item, tell me once and let me leave to retrieve it. Don’t stand there repeating the issue like I’m incapable of understanding. Customer service should focus on assistance, not on making customers feel small for not knowing store policies. Update: Went to the location on 72nd and Dodge (literally an hour later) and was met with incredible service with no issues. Would highly recommend going to that location in lieu of this one.

Experiencia fantástica: I use to love going to the one on 72nd by Dodge. However, I do not like going there anymore. I consistently feel uncomfortable. Though, going to the mall location has been a blessing! I met Nick a few months ago at this location and he helped me really dive into some of the games and questions I had. I was not confident in the games I wanted to purchase, I have some issues with my hands, but he made me feel very comfortable and suggested some great resources! I recently stopped by to look at some of the new stuff and was pleasantly surprised to have seen him still working there.
Experiencia fantástica: Great customer experience. Nick was a great help grading this Blaziken from 2004. It is nice to have a card immortalized as "Loved a little too roughly" PSA 1/10. I've only been to this store 3 times, but each time the employees know what is in stock, know what games are good, and are genuinely excited about new releases. 5 stars.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to buy an xbox series x and a PS5 and would not let me buy the PlayStation because I wasn't purchasing extra accessories and the company does not make money on the PlayStation alone with its Factory bundle. Total waste of my time will not be shopping at this Gamestop ever again horrible experience. I figured any kind of sale would be better than nothing and that's what they got nothing took my business to Best Buy where I wasn't questioned about buying what I wanted.

Is this the kind of behavior this store supports?? How terrible! Experiencia negativa: Horrible customer service by Andra or Andre at the west roads mall. I had my autistic child with me doing a simple exchange. Instead of the store manager is what he says he was being knowledgeable about their return policy, he was rude and never helped me. I had my receipt in hand with a NEW product I purchased 3 days prior that did not work. When I express that they did not work and we wanted to get a new pair he said because they were open we could not return them. We wouldn’t know if they work if we don’t open the product right? Had to call another store in out in Bellevue to get my return which they helped me without any issues. Andra or Andre whatever his name was should not be working for Game stop I like many other paying customers should not get treated without respect. Worse service ever and will not be shopping at this location again until Andre or Andra finds a different position or get better training at customer service. Customers are the reason he still is employed, if we don’t purchase business won’t run. I will be reaching out to who the real store owner is and filling a complaint.

Experiencia negativa: Too many good Gamestop locations to waste time and business at this one. I’ve been there before during the week and did not have any issues. The weekend is a different matter. “Prestige” member Anthony was rather rude and snarky not just to me but also to the less experienced employee he appeared to be training. The store also commits the sin of opening “new” games and then repackaging them in used/beat-up cases as new. I got home only to find that one of the “New” games has a tear in the case. Sucks for collectors like me. If the game has been opened and handled by store employees it IS NOT new. Why pay full price here when I get an actual copy that is still in shrink and untouched for $5-$10 cheaper at Wal-Mart? To make matters worse, the employees kept trying to upsell me into the Power Up Rewards program. If you go to Gamestop I’d recommend a neighborhood store and not the crowded mall one.

Told me to come back tommorow when his manager is in... wasted my time. Plus they dont answer the phone. How tall be open so long in dont answer the phone. Probably dont know how to handle that neither. So unhappy they need to close down
